WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure
  1. On February 20th 2016, the Israeli army, intensified their restrictions at the entrance to Jerusalem city, set up several flying checkpoints on the main road leading to the city and prevented worshipers under the age of 50 from conducting prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque compound which forced residents to conduct prayers near checkpoints located outside Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
  2. The Israeli army continues to close the ‘demarcation area’ along the Wall in the area surrounding occupied East Jerusalem and restricts access to local residents as well as to civilians holding special permits.
  3. The Israeli army continues to impose a blockade and deny civilian access to a hill between Biddu and Beit Iksa villages.
Closure of main Roads
  1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks and dirt mounds the entrance to Jaba’ village.
  2. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the eastern entrance to Beit Iksa village and forces civilians to access Jerusalem city through Qalandiya checkpoint. 
Military Checkpoints
  1. sraeli authorities continue to consider Qalandiya checkpoint a “border crossing point” and designate a special crossing lane for holders of Jerusalem IDs and another for those possessing permits to access Jerusalem city.
  2. On September 19th 2012, Israeli forces closed Ras Khamis checkpoint near Shu ‘fat camp and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to construct the wall.
  3. On February 20th 2016, Israeli forces closed Jaba’ checkpoint located along the main road connecting Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jericho and impeded the free flow of traffic.
  4. At 24:00, Israeli forces closed Shu’fat checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
Flying Checkpoints
  1. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Qalandiya village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
  2. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya then searched residents and vehicles.
Raid
  1. At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.
  2. At 21:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram.
  3. At 23:20, Israeli forces raided Jaba’ village and clashed with several residents.
Attack
  1. At 22:10, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Shu’fat checkpoint fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning
  2. At 22:20, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Jabal area junction in Abu Dis fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
Detention
  1. At 16:00, Israeli forces detained Raed Abdel-Raziq Siyam (16 years old){A resident of Al-Thuri neighbourhood in Jerusalem.
  2. At 18:20, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem city detained Mahmoud Majed Shamasneh (A resident of Qtna village) for allegedly finding a knife in his possession.
  3. At 18:30, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Sabieh (A resident of Hizma village).
Temporary Detention
  1. On the evening of February 20th 2016, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem temporarily detained the child  Akram Hasouneh (16 years old) {A resident of Thuri neighbourhood} then released him at a later time.
Obstruction of Places of Worship
  1. At 00:10, Israeli forces stormed “Abu Nour” Bedouin community located in east Al-Eizariya  and demolished a local school consisting of 6 rooms {which was funded by the French Government}.
Closure of Wall Gates
  1. The Israeli army continues to close with cement blocks the Wall gate in Abu Dis town.
  2. The Israeli army continues to deny civilian access through the Wall gate on Al-Shayyah road in the area between Al-Sawahira Al-Sharqiya and Al-Slewahira Al-Gharbiya villages, only allowing civilians holding Jerusalem IDs to cross, after subjecting them to thorough searches using electronic devices.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Closure of main Roads
  1. The Israeli army continues to close the entrances to Sinjil village well as the junction to Kafr Malik and ‘Ein Samiya villages
  2. On December 15th 2015, Israeli forces closed the West entrance of Al-Labban Al-Gharbi village with cement blocks.
  3. At 09:20 on February 9th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Shuqba and Shbatin villages with cement blocks and also installed a steel gate in the area.
  4. At 24:00 on February 14th 2016, closed the main road near the entrance of “Bet El” settlement which leads to Al-Jalazoun camp with cement blocks for alleged gunfire.
Flying Checkpoints
  1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Rawabi City roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 09:45.
  2. At 10:10 and again at 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah bridge located in North Bir Ziet then searched residents and vehicles.
  3. At 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ein Siniya village located along the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus then searched residents and vehicles until 20:40
  4. At 21:05, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints on the east  and west entrances of Silwad town and prevented residents from entering or exiting the area.
Raid
  1. At 02:55 on February 20th 2016, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, stormed and searched 2 homes and temporarily detained Mohammad Odah Judah then released him at a later time and then withdrew at 12:00.
  2. At 18:10, Israeli forces raided Khirbithat Al-Misabh village and clashed with several residents then withdrew at 18:35.
  3. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Ur Al-Tahta and set up a checkpoint in the centre of town then withdrew at 20:40.
  4. At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Beituniya, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 01:55.
  5. At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, detained a child then withdrew at 04:35.
Detention
  1. At 19:00, Israeli forces detained Oday Tarik Abdel-Latif Omar {A resident of Beit Ur Al-Tahta}.
  2. Israeli forces detained Diya Yasser Al-Shini (16 years old) in Al-Jalazoun camp.
Attack
  1. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Silwad fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents {including a child who was struck by a tear gas grenades canister in the face} and left 4 others including a child suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
  2. At 22:55, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp opened fire towards a school.

JENIN

Closure
  1. On December 24th 2015, Israeli forces closed off the area  {900m wide and 100m long} along the main road connecting Jenin and Tulkarem leading to south Ya’bad and installed a barbed wire fence around the area  and declared the area a closed military zone.
Closure of main Roads
  1. The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the road leading to the town of ‘Arraba east of the illegal settlement Dotan.
  2. At 14:50 on February 5th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Jenin city and Qabatiya with dirt mounds
Raid
  1. At 12:55, Israeli forces raided Fahma village and clashed with several residents then withdrew at 13:30.
  2. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Jenin and its camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then detained a resident.
Detention
  1. Israeli forces detained Ra’fat Nasser Al-Sa’di in Jenin camp.
Closure of Wall Gates
  1. Israeli forces continue too close the wall gate and only allow those holding special permits to enter through it.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints
  1. At 15:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints
  1. Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at “Eniv” checkpoint located along the main road connecting Tulkarem and Nablus and impeded the free flow of traffic.
Flying Checkpoints
  1. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Baqa Al-Sharqiya then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.
Raid
  1. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Shokiya neighbourhood in Tulkarem

QALQILIYA

Closure of Roads
  1. Israeli forces continue to close with cement blocks agricultural roads east of Azzun town.
  2. In addition to closing the gate installed since the outbreak the second Intifada, the Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the eastern entrance to Kafr Qaddum village.
  3. Since 16:55 on December 18th 2014, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road leading to Far’ata village which is located near “Gillad” settlement with dirt mounds
  4. Since 10:40 on September 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed an agricultural road leading to Far’ata village which is located near “Gillad” settlement with a steel Gate.
Attack
  1. On the morning of February 20th 2016, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Azzun fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
Closure of Wall Gates
  1. The Israeli army continues to restrict access at ‘Azzun ‘Atma Wall gate and impeded the free flow of traffic. The Israeli army continues to close with an iron gate the entrance to the village of Wadi Al- Rasha and to deny civilian access.
  2. The Israeli army allows residents to access the village through Gate #109. Having removed the gate at the entrance to the village of Ras Atiya; the Israeli army only allows students to cross to their schools outside the village through the Habla gate.

NABLUS

Closure
  1. Since December 17th 2013, Israeli forces ordered the closure 500 dunumes of land in Qusra village as a closed military area.
Closure of main Roads
  1. The Israeli army continues to close the roads of Til-Burin and Beit Furik-Salem; the settler bypass road connecting the village of Deir al Hatab to the settlement of Alon Moreh; the road connecting the town of ‘Aqraba to the village of Osrin; and the detour road between the town of Qabalan and the village of Osrin.
  2. The Israeli army continues to close the northern entrance to Qabalan town; the southern entrances to the town of Jamma’in and the villages of Duma and Qaryut.
  3. At 06:30 on November 22nd 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Aqraba and Yanoun village with dirt mounds.
  4. On November 29th 2015, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Burin, Awarta and Osirin as well as the agricultural bypass road connecting Aqraba and Qabalan village with dirt mounds.
  5. At 13:00 on December 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Tel village and the bypass road near “Yitsahar” settlement and installed a steel gate in the area.
  6. At 18:30 on January 19th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Huwara and Walada village with dirt mounds.

  1. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Isirin village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:40.
  2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 18:30.
  3. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Assira Al-Shimaliya village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10
Raid
  • At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Nablus city until 02:00.

SALFIT

Closure of main Roads
  1. The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the entrance to two detour roads connecting Marda village to its farmland.
  2. On 15.04.2012, the Israeli army has opened the northern entrance to Salfit city to civilian which was closed since the year 2000 and prevented access from 08:00 until 09:20.
  3. Since 11:00 on July 30th 2012, Israeli forces have closed two roads leading to Abu Nasar and Qatan Al-Jama’ located in western area of Deir Istiya with cement blocks.
Military Checkpoints
  • Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za’tara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
Flying Checkpoints
  1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Salfit and Bruqin village then searched residents and vehicles.
  2. At 11:45 and again at 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan then searched residents and vehicles.
Raid
  1. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Istiya, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 01:30.
  2. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik until 03:30

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints
  1. Israeli forces continue to intensify its restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint set up along the road connecting Jericho and Nablus District.

BETHLEHEM

Closure
  1. The Israeli army continues to close roads to An Nu’man village, with the exception of the road leading to the Wall gate in the south-eastern area of the village.
  2. Since 15 September 2007, the Israel army has prevented civilians from accessing or staying on 22 dunumes of confiscated land in Al Mazmuriya area in Beit Sahur and Bethlehem cities.
Closure of main Roads
  1. The Israeli army continues to close the Beit Jala-Wadi Ahmed road; a road between Um Tuba and Al-Jass ; a road between Um Tuba and Khilat Nu’man: a road between Um Tuba and the wall; a road between Al-Khas village and the wall; the 2 by pass roads located south of Al-Walaja; a road between Talita Qumi and Nazlat Al-Sider in Beit Jala; the eastern road of Al-Khader; the road between Al-Khader and Beit Jala  ; Wadi Rahal road near “Ifrat” settlement ,the road between Al-Khader and road #60 which lead to the eastern neighbourhoods of Bethlehem; a road leading to  Wadi Rahal, and a road east of Beit Fajjar town with dirt mounds.
  2. The Israeli army continues to close the road leading to “Newe Daniyyel” settlement and agricultural land in Al-Khader; a road between  Um Tuba and Wadi Al-Hums: Wadi Fukin, Al-Jaba, the Green Line; a road between Za’tara and a detour road, and a road between Taqou and Khirbet Al-Deir with cement blocks.
  3. Since August 2nd 2012, Israeli forces closed a road leading to Beit Jalla.
  4. Since May 8th 2013, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Al-Carmisan area in Beit Jalla and Al-Walaja with a steel gate and barbed wires.
  5. Since June 3rd 2013, the Israeli army closed the road connecting Nihalin and road 60 with dirt mounds.
  6. Since 13:20 on September 29th 2013, the Israeli army closed a road leading to 50 acres of agricultural land in Wadi Salem area in Al-Khadr with dirt mounds.
  7.  Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Surif and Al-Jub’a village with dirt mounds.
  8. On January 28th 2014, Israeli forces closed the steel gate at the entrance of Nihalin { replacing the dirt mounds placed at the entrance since the year 2002} and placed time schedule for opening the gate from 06:00 until 14:00 on a daily bases.
  9. Since 10:45 on September 8th 2015, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road located in Arab Al-Rashaydeh village located near “Malee Amous” settlement with dirt mounds.
  10. At 14:50 on November 28th 2015, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Um Al-Raqaba area located in Al-Khader with cement blocks.
  11. At 13:45 on January 17th 2016, Israeli forces closed the south entrance of Nihalin village with a steel gate.
  12. At 20:00 on January 18th 2016, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Jinata with earth mounds.
  13. At 15:45 on February 17th 2016 Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Taqou’ and Harmalah village with Cement blocks.
Military Checkpoints
  1. At 11:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Container checkpoint.
Raid
  1. At 12:00, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village then stormed and searched the local cemetery.
  2. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home and detained 2 residents including a child then withdrew at 03:45.
Attack
  1. At 13:15, Israeli forces positioned Al-Ayda camp located in North Bethlehem fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
Detention
  1. At 00:45, Israeli forces positioned at Container checkpoint detained Sharif Zuhier Al-Ju’bah (A resident of Hebron).
  2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ibrahim Thawabteh and Nour Ibrahim Thawabteh (17 years old).

HEBRON

Closure
  1. The Israeli army continues to close Al-Shuhada’ Street, Al-Sahleh and Khuzq Al-Far areas, as well as the old gold market in Hebron’s Old City. In addition to closing the entrance to Al-Qeisi neighbourhood, the Israeli army continues to close the entrances to the area of Al-Hisba (the fruits and vegetables market) with an electronic gate; Al-Laban Market also remains closed.
  2. Since 05 January 2009, the Israeli army has closed the area located along the Green Line south of the town of Yatta. Having seized land for Wall construction, the Israeli army evicted the Palestinian residents and denied them access to the area.
Closure of main Roads
  1. The Israeli army continues to close the entrances to Al-Thahiriya and Al-Samoa’ towns, Al-‘Arrub refugee camp, and Al-Tuwani and Al-Karmil villages. 
  2. The Israeli army continues to prohibit Palestinian vehicles from travelling along the old Al-Shalala Street leading to Hebron’s Old City.
  3. The Israeli army continues to close all roads leading to Road # 60 as well as detour roads along the settler bypass road leading to Yatta town.
  4. The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds a detour road leading to e to Al-Simiya village, the southern entrance of Al-Samou’ and the entrance of Beit Annun with cement blocks.
  5. At 19:50 on February 18th 2016, Israeli forces closed the steel gate entrance of Al-Majd village.
Flying Checkpoints
  1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Hebron located along the main bypass road (35) near Halhoul bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
  2. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and detained a resident.
Raid
  1. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.
  2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou’ and detained a resident.
Detention
  1. At 09:45, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Hebron detained 2 children: Karam Atef Qazaz (13 years old){A resident of Dura} for allegedly finding a knife in his possession and Izat Aishaq Jaber {A resident of the old city of Hebron} and assaulted 2 residents: Ishaq Jaber and Mohammad Jaber.
  2. Israeli forces detained Hamza Jihad Abd Rabbo Ghattashah in Al-Fuwar Camp.
  3. Israeli forces detained Mohamamd Tariq Shawar Al-Tamimi in Hebron city.
  4. Israeli forces detained Osama Al-Daghami in Al-Samou’.
Temporary Detention
  1. At 22:55, Israeli forces positioned at the front entrance of Al-Arroub camp detained 2 Security force officers: Majed Eyad Al-Teti {A National Security Force officer} and Ahmad Ayed Izzat {A Police officer} then released them at a later time.
GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

  1. At 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of  increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.
  2. Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza and Central Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA
