DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 19th February 2021 -08:00, 20th February 2021
At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Alaa Jaabis - a resident of Jabal Al-Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem.
At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Hizma fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas towards citizens for alleged stoning.
1. At 15:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 17:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Al-Taybeh town junction (on the Al-Maarajat road connecting the Ramallah and Jericho governorates), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 19:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Jaba town junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 15:05, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at "Ainaf" checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 14:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzun, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet El-Tabib, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the eastern (closed) entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddum fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, towards protesters in protest against the closure of the village entrance for alleged stoning and as a result wounded a citizen, and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
The wounded man during clashes with the occupation forces near the eastern (closed) entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddum is: Hamad Abdel Fattah Amer.
At 15:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Madama village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 17:45, a group of settlers stormed the archaeological area of Al-Khan in the eastern village of Laban, and the Israeli occupation forces also intervened and fired sound and tear gas canisters towards citizens, while they were trying to confront the settlers and as a result left several citizens suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
1. At 12:15,the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Beit Dajan village fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against the confiscation of land for settlement projects and as a result wounded a citizen and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 17:45,the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Eastern Laban village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, while they confronted a group of settlers in the archeological Al-Khan area in the village and left several citizens suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
The wounded man during clashes with the occupation forces in the village of Beit Dajan is unidentified.
1. At 18:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Kafr El-Deek, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 03:20, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Deir Ballut, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 19:50, Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Doha and Al-Khader, and patrolled until 21:50.
2. At 23:20, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, and patrolled until 00:55.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis Governorate, and by firing at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the North Gaza Governorate.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 02/19/2021,is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).
1. At 18:00 on 19/02 2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 06:00 on 20/02/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 08:15 on 19/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces s fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Khuza'a town, east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": on 02/19/2021 is closed (due to the Friday holiday)
