DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 18th February 2022 -08:00, 19th February 2022
At 16:30, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Jabaa checkpoint, which links the governorates of Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jericho, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 19:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Old City of Jerusalem detained two citizens : Khaled Al-Sukhun and Sufyan Al-Ajlouni.
2. On the evening of 02/18/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem detained the citizen: Muhammad Amjad Al-Hussaini - residents of the Jabal Al-Mukabber neighborhood in Jerusalem.
3. At 20:35, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Muhammad Abdul Ghani Salam - a resident of Balata refugee camp in Nablus city.
At 16:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Kharbatha Al-Misbah, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
. At 11:40 , a group of Israeli settlers assaulted a number of citizens in the Al-Shurafa area in Deir Jarir village.
2. At 11:40 , a group of armed Israeli settlers assaulted a number of citizens in the Abu Auf area in the town of Sinjel and injured a civilian leaving him hospitalized with contusions
The civilian: Rashid Tawafasha was injured a result of the attack on him by settlers in the Abu Auf area in the town of Sinjil.
At 16:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Yabad until 20:00.
At 15:55, the Israeli occupation forces, charged with guarding the racist separation wall near the village of Al-Arqa, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Ainaf checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 18:00.
1. At 12:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 civilians {including a child} and left a number of civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of “Eyal” checkpoint, north of Qalqilya fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as a result of which a number of civilians suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas. .
The two civilians injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum are: Sajid Jamil Juma'a, 12 years old, and Salim Shteiwi.
At 18:15, a Israeli settler ran over while he was driving his vehicle at the Jinsafut junction, the child: Othman Abdullah Sabra, 7 years old - resident of Jinsafut village, as a result of which he sustained bruises, and was subsequently transferred to an Israeli hospital for treatment.
At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Khaled Hussein Daoud and Abdel Muti Ahmed Issa during confrontations with the occupation forces in the Jabal Sobeih area in the town of Beita.
1. At 09:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result injured 14 civilians (including a child, and 2 journalists), and a number of citizens suffocated as a result of inhaling tear gas.
2. At 12:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Nabe` al-Maa area in the village of Qaryut, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 13:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Beit Dajan fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result injured 2 citizens, and left a number of citizens suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
4. At 17:25, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Al-Qusour area, north of the village of Burqa fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
1. The 14 injured civilians (including a child and 2 journalists) during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita (of those identified are: Saeed Hamayel, journalist - Jaafar Zahid Shtayyeh, Amir Hashem Abu Zaitoun, Amir Hassan Daoud, Yahya Sufyan Taher Yamak, Alaa Irsan Khudair, Salim Ahmed Eshteiwi, Sajid Jamil Jumaa, 15 years old, and Rayan Youssef Hamayel.
2. Two unidentified civilians were injured during confrontations with the occupation forces in the village of Beit Dajan.
At 19:30, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the junction of the “Yitzhar” settlement, threw stones at the vehicles of the citizens passing by on the bypass road near the settlement and as a result injured a civilian and left him hospitalized with contusions.
At 13:10, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens :Moamen Muhammad Mustafa Maree and Ahmed Abdel Karim Ahmed Maree.- residents of the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan.
At 15:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the area between the towns of Bruqin and Kafr al-Deek,assaulted the citizen: Othman Salama - residents of Bruqin town, while he was on his land and a a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
At 20:45, a group of settlers, with the protection of the occupation forces, entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Al-Ras area, west of the city of Salfit, and attacked the family of the citizen: Majdi Younes, forcing them to leave their land by force.
At 15:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tekoa, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
At 23:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Wadi Rahal, and conducted the patrol until 24:00.
1. At 13:40,the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to the city of Bethlehem fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 16:35, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the western entrance to the town of Tekoa fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 19:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Samou`, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 03:10.
The detainee in the town of Samou' is: Nidal Issa Al-Hawamdeh.
At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Bab al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the central Gaza and Khan Younis governorates , and by firing at fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza governorate.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 02/18/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 09:30 on 02/.18/ 2022, the Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while they were chasing them in the open sea off the coast of the Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 09:00 on 02/18/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and fired tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Al-Bureij camp.
At 15:00 on 02/18/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired and fired tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
