Daily Report February 16 2021

At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

On the evening of 15/02/2021,the Israeli occupation forces occupied a house (under construction) owned by: Hamdi Fadl Samhan during their raid into Ras Karkar village and turned it into a military post.

At dawn on 16/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raidedthe town of Barta'a Al-Sharqiya then stormed and searched a home.

At 10:10, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

1. At 09:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzun, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 10:20 and again at 18:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

At 11:00, a group of settlers near Laban al-Sharqiya village assaulted severely the citizen: Salah Majed Samih Daraghmeh - residents of the Eastern Laban village, while he was planting olive seedlings on his land, which led to his bruises, and he was admitted to the government hospital. On 15/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces continued razing the agricultural lands of the citizens in Wadi Abd al-Rahman, north of the city of Salfit, with the aim of building 800 new housing units for the purpose of expanding the settlement of "Ariel".

On 15/02/2021, a 10-year-old boy was injured in Aqbat Jaber camp in Jericho, as a result of the explosion of a sound bomb left by the occupation forces, while he was tampering with it while he was near the cemetery area in the camp, which usually witnesses confrontations with the occupation forces and was hospitalized for treatment.

At dawn on 16/02/2021,the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas towards several citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a number of houses during their raid into Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem.

At 03:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 3 citizens (including a citizen and his son) : Musab Omar Sammour Al-Jabari, Imad Sami Al-Jaabari, and his son Imad in the Old City of Hebron.

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. At 18:30 on 15/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces opened fired and launched tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence, east of Al-Maghazi camp.

At 18:00 on 15/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 unidentified civilians while they were trying to infiltrate through the border fence into Israel, and released them at a later time.

* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 15/02/2021, is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 15/02/2021, is open in both directions (for entry and departure of citizens).
