Demonstrations

• On December 28th 2017,Mass rallies were launched in all cities and towns in all districts, rejecting the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem. The participants in the marches stressed that the decision will not change the situation Which is protected by international resolutions and laws as an occupied Palestinian city, and that Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian people and its independent state.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident after storming and searching his home.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Hizma town and clashed with several residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ahmad Dari in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Biddu town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets,stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hizma town.
3. At 21:10, Israeli forces positioned near Ras Kabsah area in Al-Eizariya town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 21:20, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Attack

1. At 10:05, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Kharbatha Bani Harith village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 10:20, Israeli forces positioned in the Vacinity of "Pesagot" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 10:35, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate located in south Al-Bireh city fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents {including a child}.
4. At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned at "Al-Mahkama" Military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
5. At 11:55, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of "Ofar" Military base fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a woman then detained her and another resident.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 2 residents {including a child}:Adham Mahmoud Khader {16 years old} during clashes at the wall gate located in south Al-Bireh city.
2. Israeli forces injured Manal Abdel Salam Tamimi {A resident of the village of Nabi Saleh} during clashes at the entrance of "Ofar" Military base.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a woman who was injured}: Manal Abdel Salam Tamimi {A resident of the village of Nabi Saleh} and Jamil Said As'ad Barghouthi {A resident of Deir Abu Meshaal village} during clashes at the entrance of "Ofar" Military base.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 09:25, Israeli forces raided Bir Al-Basha village.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Fanduqumiya village and detained a resident
3. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Faqu'a village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces positioned at "Salem" Military checkpoint located in North West Jenin city detained 2 residents: Haniyeh Mohammed Mahmoud Shraya, and her son - Walid Ismail Mahmoud Shraya,{both are residents of Balata camp in Nablus} as they were attending the court hearing of a relative.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Salem" Military checkpoint located in North West Jenin city detained Ahmad Hussein 'Abd al-Hafiz Abu' Ayed {16 years old}{A resident of Jenin Refugee Camp} for allegedly carrying an improvised explosive device.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Abdel-Hadi Abdallah Azzam in Al-Fanduqumiya village .
4. Israeli forces detained Uday Nasser Al-Khatib in Faqu'a village.

TUBAS

Land Confiscation

On December 19th 2017, the Israeli Military issued a military order number T/06/77 which confiscates 1.860 Dunums of land in Al-Adila area near the village of Hamsa al-Fawqa, located east of the village of Aatuf in the northern Jordan Valley, in order to create a settlement road approximately 78 M long which leads to an Eritrean water well established by the Israeli occupation forces on the land of private citizens in the area.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 07:40 on December 28th 2017, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city until 11:10.

Attack

At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Ghisouri" factories located in west Tulkarem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Immatin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Azzun town until 01:20.
2. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:40.

Detention

1. On December 27th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Falamiya village detained 2 residents: Nishat Muhammad Mashhad and Radwan Islam Shafiq Radwan {Both are residents of Kafr Al-Jamal in Tulkarem district}.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Qadder Mohammad Abdel-Qadder Waleel in Qalqiliya city.

Attack

At 14:20, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Jayyouss town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Rujieb and Kafr Qalil villages, clashed with several school children in Rujieb village and as a result injured 2 children then withdrew at 10:30.
2. At 13:30, Israeli forces raided Burqa and Zuwata villages , clashed with several resiednts then withdrew at 16:40.
3. At 21:45, Israeli forces raided Qussin village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 22:00.
4. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Burin village, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:05.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Nabeel Jamal Daraghma Assous and Mahmoud Qassim Tawfiq Omar in Burin village.

Attack

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 children.
2. At 09:30, Israeli forces positioned at the south area of Madma village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning.
3. At 09:30, Israeli forces positioned near Burin village school fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
4. At 13:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning during their raid into Zuwata village.
5. At 21:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Qussin village.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified resiednts during clashes in Rujib village.
2. Israeli forces injured Yusef Mohammad Abu Warda {16 years old} during clashes near Burin village school.

Settlers Attacks

At 09:30, a group of Israeli settlers positioned in Burin village stoned residents and vehicles and as a result damaged 3 vehicles.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Marda village then searched residents and vehicles until 15:30.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Salfit city and Iskaka village { for alleged throwing of a Molotov cocktail towards a Israeli settler vehicle} then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Harris village located near "Rafafa" settlement and assaulted Radwan Ma'moun Abdel-Kareem Daud {A resident of Harris village}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.

Raid

At 07:30, Israeli forces raided Jericho city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed a synagog in the area.

Attack

At 12;30, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} and detained a University student.
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 01:40.

Raid

At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah village, stormed a home and summoned Qutayba Talib Qassim Al-Shiekh to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Detention

1. At 13:40, Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Fadi Mohammed Nasraallah, Firas Mohamed Nasrallah, Laith Nabhan Mohammed Nasrallah and Ahmad Eid Mohammed Abu Akkar as they were reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. Israeli force positioned at a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} detained Sarah Fayez Abu Hamdiya {A resident of Hebron city}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:20 on December 28th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Hawawir area {located in North Halhul town} and detained a resident.
2. At 09:40 on December 28th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 01:15 on December 29th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tafuh town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on December 28th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ulla town and detained a resident.
2. At 09:35 on December 28th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town.
3. At 01:05 on December 29th 2017, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on December 29th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained 2 residents {including a Palestinian Intellegnce officer}.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Hawawir area {located in North Halhul town} detained Mohammad Ahmad Mohammad Al-Doudi.
2. Israeli forces detained Shams Abdel Hamid in Beit Ulla town.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Yusef Alk-Harini in Yatta town.
4. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Shareef Sa'id Awad {a Palestinian Intellegnce officer} and Mu'tasim Ibrahim Ali Aqel in Beit Ummar town.

Attack

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Fuwar camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several resiednts suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At dawn on December 29th 2017, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Beit Ummar town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 07:30 on December 28th 2017,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in West Beit Lahiya town, detained 2 residents and confiscated their fishing boat.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 fishermen: Sameh Haydar Al-Qaqa and Shouki Saqr Bakr off the shores of of Al-Waha area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

Confiscation of Property

At 07:30 on December 28th 2017, Israeli Naval forces confiscated a fishing boat after detained 2 fishermen off the shores of Al-Waha area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
