Daily Report December 28, 2016

At 09:00,Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

At 09:35, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village temporarily detained Ra'fat Tal'at Al-Eis {A resident of Kafr Ein village} then released him at a later time.

1. Israeli forces detained Murad Waleed Malaysheh and Amarat Awni Fashashfa in Jaba' town.
2. Israeli forces detained Aysar Mohammad Al-Zibadi and Muntasir Arafat Al-Sa'di in Jenin camp.

At 13:50, Israeli forces raided Anabta town until 17:00.

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces raided Izbat Salman village and stormed a home.
2. At 14:50 and again at 24:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, stormed and searched 4 homes
3. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city until 02:35.

Israeli forces injured 5 residents:Alaa Nasser Yusef Al-Sharqawi {17 years old}, Hamza Yusef Abdel-Rahman Shamat, Murad Abdallah Musa Masimi, Samer Janajrat and Muntasir Annan Hassan Abu Zied during their raid into Nablus city and Balata camp.

At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Jericho city and Aqbat Jaber camp then withdrew at 01:00.

At 13:45, Israeli forces raided Wadi Al-Nis village and served military orders for the demolition of 9 homes owned by Anwar Saqer Mohammad Abu Hamad, Hassan Yusef Abu Hamad, Issa Sa'ed Abu Hammad, Ali Ahmad Abu Hammad, Nasser Mohammad Abu Hammad, Daoud Abu Hammad, Osama Naji Abu Hammad and Issa Mohammad Abu Hammad.

At 08:30, Israeli forces set up 6 checkpoints at the North and South entrances of Jericho city and the entrances Dura , Al-Samou', Al-Thahriya towns and at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area from 300 to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month. On 3 April 2016 the decision to expand the fishing area from 6 to 9 nautical miles entered into effect but the Israeli authorities reduced the area back to 6 nautical miles on 26 June 2016.

• The Israeli military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Rafah District.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is partially open for humanitarian cases, international journalists, employees working for humanitarian agencies, businessmen and passengers traveling though Al-Karama Crossing.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 07:45 on December 27th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a.

At 07:45 on December 27th 2016, Israeli forces escorting several military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of North east Al-Shweika town and levelled plots of agricultural land then withdrew at 13:00.
