DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00,21st December 2019 – 08:00, 22nd December 2019
1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jaba' village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 23:15, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.
At 22:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.
At 05:00, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Iksa military checkpoint prevented Palestinian Civil Defense forces from entering Beit Iksa village to put out a fire in a home owned by Mariyam Mohammad Ziyad and as a result caused the house to be completely burned down.
At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Ras Al-Ahmar area and Khirbeit Attouf village located in the North Jordan valley, stormed and searched several residential tents owned by Hassan Abdallah Bani Odeh, Ahmad Abdallah Bani Odeh and Fatima Soliman Bani Odeh then withdrew at 11:00.
At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.
At 22:25, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 23:55.
At 22:25, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.
At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Qabalan town and Yitma village until 14:30.
1. At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Nihalin town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
2. At 15:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-FAradis village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 15:40.
3. At 16:45,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:25.
4.At 17:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:50.
At 03:35, Israeli forces raided Hudazat Hills area located in Bethlehem city, stormed and searched 2 homes, confiscated media equipment and a Journalist Identification card owned by Khalil Khalid Khalil Thowib then summoned Mahmoud Hassan Mohammad Al-Waradin to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
On December 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned in Kisan village located in South Teqou' town prevented several farmers from entering agricultural land for allegedly not having entry permits.
1. At 17:15, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Waljat village confiscated a concrete pump owned by Al-Jarashi construction company as it was working on home {under construction} for being located in area C which is under Israeli military and administrative control
2. At 03:45, Israeli forces confiscated media equipment and a Journalist Identification card owned by Khalil Khalid Khalil Thowib during their raid into Hudazat Hills area located in Bethlehem city.
At 10:50, a group of Israeli settlers raided Solimans pools located in Irtas village then withdrew at 15:20.
At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Khursa village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
At dawn on December 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, stormed and searched several homes using Police dogs then detained 2 residents.
Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Soliman Judat Baher and Muhsien Mohammad Za'aqiq in Beit Ummar town.
At 16:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
At 23:30, a Israeli settler driving a vehicle along the main road in Al-Arrub camp ran over 2 residents and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions.
Ahmad Ziyad Qinam and Hazim Ziyad Qinam were injured after being ran over by a Israeli settlers vehicle along the main road in Al-Arrub camp.
• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.
* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
At 12:00 on December 21st 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
