DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00,12th December 2019 – 08:00, 13th December 2019
At 08:30, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town.
At 17:30, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Ishaq Abu Khdeir and Nasser Abu Khdeior in Shu'fat neighborhood in Jerusalem city then released them at a later time.
At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
On December 12th 2019, Israeli settlers from "Malee Adumim" settlement located in east Al-Eizariya town closed the main steel entrance gate of Al-Eizariya village from near the settlement and impeded the free flow of traffic for those entering and exiting the town.
At 10:40, Israeli forces positioned near "Halamish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city and clashed with several residents then withdrew at 17:00.
At 13:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Bireh city.
At 08:45,Israeli forces raided Baqa Al-Sharqiya , Zieta and Attil towns and Nazlat Abu Al-Nar and Al-Nazlat Al-Sharqiya villages until 11:25.
01:20 on December 12th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated 6000 NIS from the home of Ammar Abdel-Raheem Abdallah Bashir during their raid into Tulkarem city {as mentioned in the previous report}.
At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Laqif village then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At 01:45 on December 12th 2019, Israeli forces raided Balata camp in Nablus city and detained 2 residents.
2. At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya, Burqat, Bazariya and Deir Sharaf villages until 13:40.
3. At 13:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Furik town, opened fire towards several residents herding their live stock near "Yitmar" settlement then withdrew at 14:20.
4. At 14:05, Israeli forces raided Tel village until 16:40.
Israeli forces detained Mohammad Khaziran and Anas Ali Hamadat in Balata camp in Nablus city.
At 13:10, Israeli forces opened fire towards several residents herding their livestock near "Yitmar" settlement during their raid into Beit Furik town.
1. On December 12th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stoned vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Nablus and Jenin and as a result damaged several vehicles.
2. At 03:30, a group of Israeli settlers in vehicle stormed Joseph's Tomb site then were chased away by Palestinian Police forces guarding the site.
At 09:35, Israeli forces raided Fasayil village.
1. At 12:05,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:50.
2. At 18:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tuqu' town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:50.
3. At 21:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:05.
1. At 21:25, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city until 00:50.
2. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town until 03:05.
At 08:15, Israeli forces set up checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and clashed with several residents.
2. At 23:05, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town.
3. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town.
4. At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil town.
1. At 09:35, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hebron city.
• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.
* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
