DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00,9th December 2019 – 08:00, 10th December 2019
1. At 08:00 and again at 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Qalandiya village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:25.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles until 00:25.
At dawn on December 10th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, detained a child and summoned 7 residents: Ahmed Muhammad Derbas, Walid Dawoud Alyan, Muhammad Rabah Alyan, Moayad Badr, Issa Derbas, Majd Darwish, and his brother Rashid to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
1.On the evening December 9th 2019,Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Rawhi Al-Qalassi {65 years old} after storming his home in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. Israeli forces detained Muntassir Nasser Sibatat {16 years old} in Al-Eisawiya village.
On December 9th 2019, Israeli authorities forced Ali Ja'abis to demolish his home {which consists of a room built out of wood and is approximately 70 m2} in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city in order to avoid paying a fine after being issued a demolition order for being built with out licensing.
At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
1. At 10:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Yabroud village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 02:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
1.At 08:40 and again at 02:50,Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city.
2. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Shuqba village.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Sudan village, stormed and searched a home and summoned Ma'moun Jum'a Sharif to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
4. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Ni'lin town and stormed a home.
5. At 05:50, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained 3 residents.
Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammad Khamis Zahran, Ramzi Ibrahim Atta and Mahmoud Mohammad Zahran in Deir Abu Mash'al village.
1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town until 14:20.
2. At 09:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Silat Al-Harthiya and Al-Yamoun towns and Ti'inik village until 11:45.
3. At 16:55, Israeli forces raided Zabadat village.
4. At 06:35, Israeli forces raided Zubaba village.
At dawn on December 9th 2019, Israeli forces detained Muthaqal Mohammad Muthaqal Hamdan during their raid into Qabatiya town.
On the morning of December 10th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Thaher Al-Abed village opened fire towards a resident who was attempting to enter the green line and as a result left him hospitalized.
Israeli forces opened fire towards and injured Sayef Eyad Al-Ardat {a resident of Arraba town} near the wall gate in Thaher Al-Abed village.
At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Tubas city, Aqabat and Tammoun towns and Al-Far'a camp then detained a resident in Tammoun town.
Israeli forces detained Musa Khariyoush in Tammoun town.
At 12:45 and again at 19:45,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Enav military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 22:30.
1. At 21:40, Israeli forces raided Quffin, Baqa Al-Sharqiya , Zieta, Deir Al-Ghusoun and Attil towns, stormed and searched several homes in Quffin town then withdrew at 02:50.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city.
At 07:20, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Nazlat Issa village fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several laborers as they attempted to enter the Green Line and as a result injured 4 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
Israeli forces injured 4 residents: Mohammad Tayseer Ammar {17 years old}{a resident of Quffin town}, Yusef Ziyad Khassib {a resident of Quffin town}, Nimr Issam Tawfiq Khassib {a resident of Quffin town} and Jihad Ahmad Mohammad Assassfat {a resident of Jenin city} during clashes near the wall gate in Nazlat Issa village.
At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town until 19:00.
On the evening of December 9th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint detained Ammar Yusef Awwad Dwikat {a resident of Qalqiliya city}.
At 16:00, Israeli forces leveled a plot land {approximately 27 dunums} located in Harayiq Dawas area in Kafr Laqif village {located near Karni Shamron settlement} owned by Saleh Ibrahim Assaf and Mahmoud Othman Qaddurat and then issued a military order to confiscate the plot of land.
At 20:25,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:10.
1. At 11:05, Israeli forces raided Osarin village until 11:35.
2. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Tel and Orif villages then detained 2 residents in Orif village.
Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Mohammad Shihada and Osama Ali Shihada in Orif village.
On the evening of December 9th 2019, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Osarin village with cement blocks and boulders and as a result impeded the free flow of traffic.
1. At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Masahat village.
2. At 12:35, Israeli forces raided Deir Istiya town and Harris village until 16:40.
3. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.
At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho city and clashed with several residents.
At 22:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho city.
At 16:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At 15:15, Israeli forces raided Um Salmounat village, detained a resident then withdrew at 16:05.
2. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Za'tara town and detained a resident.
3. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah village.
4. At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city,Aydat and Duhishat camps, Al-Khader town and Harmalat village, detained 2 resiednts in Bethlehem city then withdrew at 06:20.
1. Israeli forces detained Nael Ayed Khalil Fawakhrat in Um Salmounat village.
2. Israeli forces detained Mujahid Jamal Al-Wahish in Za'tara town.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Adel Issa Abdallah Hijazi and Rida Abdel-Kareem Ali Sadouq in Bethlehem city.
At 19:0, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At dawn on December 10th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town, stormed and searched a home and summoned Samir Sabahi Shalash Al-Masalmat to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. At dawn on December 10th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp then stormed and searched a home.
3. At dawn on December 10th 2019, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town then stormed and searched 2 homes.
At 15:05, Israeli forces detained Eliyas Qa'qour near Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
On December 9th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting against the establishment of a new settlement neighborhood located in the old city of Hebron and as a result left several demonstrators suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
On December 9th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a storage den owned by Badr Ahmad Abu Ayash located in Al-Qarn area in east Beit Ummar town.
1. At 09:50, Israeli forces leveled a plot of land owned by Al-Nathar family located in Farsh Al-Hawa area in North west Hebron city.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces leveled a plot of land {approximately 6 dunums} planted with Olive trees and owned by Badr Ahmad Abu Ayash located in Al-Qarn area in east Beit Ummar town.
• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis and Rafah district.
* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
At 08:00 on December 9th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched stun and tear gas canisters towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
At 15:10 on December 9th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Rafah city.
