JERUSALEM
1. At 03:00 on August 28th 2017, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Mahmoud Mohammad Ayad during their raid into Abu Dis town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At dawn on August 29th 2017, Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Mohammad Tutanji, Ahmad Mutier, Faysal Shabana, Oday Hadarat and Adnan Hadarat in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained Anas Jawdat Abdallah Basa in Abu Dis town.
At 03:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets , stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Qutna village.
On August 28th 2017, Israeli forces stormed "Bayous" Cultural center in Jerusalem city and prevented the launch of a cultural event then forcibly removed several residents from inside the center after issuing a military order for its closing and prevented them from hosting any events.
At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
RAMALLAH & AL BIREH
1. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ni'lin town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge and detained a resident.
At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Beitunia town.
Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge detained Mohammad Mahmoud Suhweil {A resident of Eibwien town}.
At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of "Psagot" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets , stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
JENIN
At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Araba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At 05:10, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ra'i town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 06:50.
2. At 06:50, Israeli forces raided Araba town and detained a University student.
1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yusef Fakhri Al-Atrash and Mohammad Fakhri Al-Atrash in Kafr Ra'i town.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Fatin Fihmi Musa in Araba town.
TUBAS
At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Al-Bayda village then searched residents and vehicles.
TULKAREM
At 10:15 and again at 20:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:50.
At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shufa village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:15.
QALQILIYA
At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At 18:50, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, temporarily detained 3 residents and released them at a later time then withdrew at 23:00.
2. At 10:15, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town, detained a resident and summoned Abdel-Haleem Ahmad Khalid to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 03:00.
Israeli forces detained Mohammad Hazza' Al-Qaddumi in Jayyous town.
At 18:50, Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 residents: Yassin Emad Shbeita, Osama Bilal Suwaidan, and Mohamed Hossam Mustafa Adwan during their raid into Azzun town then released them at a later time.
NABLUS
At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Madma village then searched residents and vehicles.
At 23:45, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb, clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents and detained another then withdrew at 04:50.
Israeli forces detained Musa Sami Sa'ada in Nablus city.
At 23:45, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured 2 residents including a child.
Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Ahmad Ali Hassan Hashash {17 years old}, Mohammad Atta Abu Al-Khier during clashes in Nablus city.
SALFIT
1. At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Bruqin town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.
BETHLEHEM
At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:10.
At 05:45, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village and detained 3 children.
Israeli forces detained 3 children: Khalaf Shadi Najajra {15 years old}, Mohammad Riziq Najajrah {16 years old} and Mahmoud Talib Najajra {16 years old} in Nihalin village.
HEBRON
1. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Khursa village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
At 21:20, Israeli forces detained Radwan Abdallah Abu Sineneh in the old city of Hebron.
1. On the evening of August 28th 2017, a group of Israeli settlers from "Kiryat Arba" settlement located in the old city of Hebron assaulted Ahmad Manour Jaber {13 years old} as he was riding his horse and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
2. At dawn on August 29th 2017, a group of Israeli settlers from "Karam'il" settlement located near Um Al-Khier village in east Yatta town threw glass bottles towards residents and homes.
The child: Ahmad Manour Jaber {13 years old} was injured after a group of Israeli settlers from "Kiryat Arba" settlement assaulted him as he was riding his horse in the old city of Hebron.
ALL DISTRICTS
• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza.
NORTHERN GAZA
* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination
At 04:00 on August 29th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
GAZA
* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
KHAN YUNIS
At 06:00 on August 28th 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Al-Qarara town then opened fire as they levelled a plot of land and withdrew at 13:30.
RAFAH
* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is opened from both directions for the exit of 882 residents leaving for emergency medical cases as well as students and businessmen and the entry of 166 residents returning from Egypt.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
