WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Rabaybah area located in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hizma town and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Detention

1. At 14:15, Israeli forces positioned at Jaba' checkpoint detained Mohammad Sami Amatir {A resident of Qalandiya camp}.
2. On August 25th 2016, Israeli forces positioned at Hata gate
{One of the main gate entrances leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem detained Ahmad Al-Sharabati.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 13:35.

Raid

At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Deir Nathim village and clashed with several residents.

Detention

At 03:05 on August 25th 2016 Israeli forces detained 2 residents:
Ibrahim Nader Hamad and Labib Abdallah Al-Natour during their raid into
Silwad town in addition to those mentioned in the previous report.

Attack

At 23:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Nathim town.

JENIN

Raid

At 09:45, Israeli forces raided Jalqamous village until 12:30.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the
area between Izzbit Jal'oud and Halba village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitzhar" settlement located in North Huwara town and prevented residents and vehicles from passing through.

Raid

At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Sabustiya village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 01:25.

Attack

At 00:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Sabustiya village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Ballout town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

At 20:15, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara checkpoint junction detained Murad Iz Al-Din Fatash {A resident of Salfit city}.

Settlers Attacks

At 02:30, Israeli settlers stormed Kafil Harris town, performed Talmudic rituals then withdrew at 04:00.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 19:45.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Khader town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.
2. At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge
{Located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 01:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city,
clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes
and as a result injured several residents then stormed and searched the home
Omar Mohammad Al-Sayfi as they attempted to detain his son Naban Omar Mohammad Al-Sayfi and
detained 5 residents {including the boys mother and his siblings} to force him to turn him self in .

Detention

Israeli forces detained 5 residents:
Omar Daoud Al-Sayfi, Nawal Mohammad
Ahamd Daoud Al-Sayfi, Asma Omar Daoud Al-Sayfi, Daoud Omar Daoud Al-Sayfi and
Assad Omar Daoud Al-Sayfi during their raid into Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

Attack

1. At 21:20, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city}
fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 03:55, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged
stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Hamza Ali Daoud Al-Sayfi and Malik Khalid Mohammad Sha'fout during their raid into Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Khursa village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on August 25th 2016, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, stormed a home and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on August 26th 2016, Israeli forces raided Al-Aroub camp and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Hamza Abdel-Qadder Ismarit in Yatta town.
2. Israeli forces detained Khalil Izzat Banat and Salah Anan Al-Kandouri in Al-Aroub camp,

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• • Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held
for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards
Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Central Gaza and as a result injured and detained a fisherman.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination

1. At 06:30 on August 25th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels chased and opened fire towards a
Palestinian fishing boats off the shores Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town
and as a result injured and detained a fisherman.
2. At 04:10 on August 26th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards
Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

Injuries

Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards a fishing boat off the shores Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town and injured Abdel-Azziz Fareed Sa'edallah.

Detention

Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards a fishing boat off the shores Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town and detained Abdel-Azziz Fareed Sa'edallah.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 00:30 on August 26th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is open for the entry Humanitarian assistance.
