WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Deportation

On August 21st 2017, Israeli Authorities in Jerusalem city ordered the expulsion of Nour Al-Din Al-Rajabi {A resident of Jerusalem city} from the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 1 week {7 days} and fined him 5000 NIS as a term for his release from Israeli custody after he was detained at an earlier time.

Attack

At 00:10, Israeli forces positioned in Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Destruction of Property

At 07:00 on August 21st 2017, Israeli forces demolished a kindergarten in the Bedouin community of Jabal Baba located in east Al-Eizariya town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:45.

Raid

1. At 16:50 and again at 01:55, Israeli forces raided Araba town.
2. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Silat Al-Thaher.
3. At 06:55, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town.

Detention

On August 20th 2017, Israeli forces detained Naha Mohammad Ahmad Abu Al-Hiejah {A resident of Jenin camp} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

Raid

At 08:50 and again at 18:35, Israeli forces raided Bardala village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:00 and again at 19:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint until 23:10.

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Attil town until 09:30.
2. At 14:55, Israeli forces raided Quffin town.
3. At 18:55, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city until 00:35.
4. At 22:35, Israeli forces raided Anabta town,Kafr Labad and Ramin villages until 01:30.
5. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Izbit Tayah village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces raided Kafr Thulth town, stormed a merchant shop then withdrew at 13:35.
2. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city until 05:40.
3. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

NABLUS

1. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Orif village.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Einbuis village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces raided Khirbeit Al-Deir village located near Teqou' town until 13:30.
2. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 2 homes then withdrew at 01:10.

Attack

At 00:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched 2 homes during their raid into Teqou' town.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At dawn on August 21st 2017, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town and detained a resident.
2. At 11:20, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
3. At 23:55, Israeli forces raided Dura town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Jaber Yusef Shaladah in Sa'ir town.

Settlers Attacks

At 01:00, a group of Israeli settlers from "Karmi Itsur" settlement located near road (60){which connects Hebron and Bethlehem} and assaulted several residents.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and openeing fire towards Khan Yunis District.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 09:00 on August 20th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in North Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 08:00 on August 21st 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

1. At 07:30 on August 21st 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 70 m into the vicinity of east Khuza'a town then opened fire as they levelled a plot of land and withdrew at 12:00.
2. At 12:10 on August 21st 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 70 m into the vicinity of east Al-Fukhari town then opened fire as they levelled a plot of land and withdrew at 14:30.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
