WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 00:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Jaba' checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, clashed with several residents then detained a resident.
2. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Biddu town, clashed with several residents as they
stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 05:20.

Detention

1. At dawn on August 19th 2016, Israeli forces detained Sufiyan Fakhri Abbdu in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. Israeli forces detained Nasser Jabarin in Abu Dis town.

Attack

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces fired live ammunition and rubber coated steel bullets as they stormed a home during their raid into Abu Dis town.
2. At 20:20, Israeli forces positioned near Jabal area in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 02:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Biddu town.

Demonstrations

At 13:00, a demonstration took place after Friday prayers near a home {under threat of demolition} near Qalandiya village protesting against the demolition of 11 homes in the village.

Settlement Activities

On August 19th 2016, Israeli Authorities issued tenders for the
construction of a Hotel {consisting of 6 floors}, a shopping Center, a Motor vehicle Engine Factory and Offices
in "Malee Adumim" settlement located on Land occupied in 1967 in east Jerusalem

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 16:15.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Shuqba and Rantis villages then searched residents and vehicles until 20:10.
3. At 23:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction { located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho district} then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations

1. At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Bil’in Ni’lin village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Ni’lin protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Al-Nabi Saleh village protesting against land confiscation for the purpose of settlement expansion which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators
during protests against the construction of the Wall in Bil'in town
and as a result left several demonstrators suffocating from tear gas inhalation.

5. At 17:20, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
6. At 19:05, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of "Pesagout" settlement located in the east area of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Raid

At 16:50, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, stormed a home then withdrew at 17:40.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 16:20, the Israeli military intensified its restrictions at "Enav" checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 02:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Hablat town and Ras Attiya village then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations

At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades
towards demonstrators who attempted to reach they demonstration site and as a result injured 3 residents.

Attack

At 13:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards
demonstrators during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum against the closure of the east entrance and as a result injured 2 residents and left 3 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

The 3 residents injured in Kafr Qaddum are unidentified.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Huwara town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Hatab village.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 21:40, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:55.

Raid

At 20:00 and again at 22:50, Israeli forces raided Kafr Al-Dik town and clashed with several residents then withdrew at 00:10

Attack

At 22:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafr Qaddum town.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village { located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint during their raid into Bethlehem city then searched residents and vehicles until 00:10

Raid

1. At 20:35, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village until 22:00.
2. At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, set up a checkpoint in the north area then withdrew at 00:10.

Closure of main Roads

At 17:30, the Israeli Military closed the west entrance of Za'tara town withy dirt mounds.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At dawn on August 19th 2016, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town and detained a resident.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 01:10.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp detained Khalid Mohammad Abu Rabi' {A resident of Al-Fuwar camp}
2. Israeli forces detained Oday Ahmad Jabarin in Al-Thahriya town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for
discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green
Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis and as a result injured 4 residents.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination..

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision

1. At 13:30 on August 19th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the
Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jahir Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.

2. At 16:15 on August 19th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened
fire towards several residents located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing
located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city as they were participating
in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack
on Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and as a result injured 3 residents.

Injuries

The 3 residents injured in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing
located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city are unidentified.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 16:15 on August 19th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire
towards several residents located in the vicinity of eat Al-Buriej camp as they were
participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque
compound in the old city of Jerusalem and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 23:20 on August 19th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened
fire towards agricultural land located in east Al-Maghazi camp

Injuries

The resident injured in east Al-Buriej camp is unidentified.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 13:40 on August 19th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards east Abbassan town.
