JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At dawn on August 18th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents{including a child}: Mohammad Mansour Al-Abbassi {17 years old} and Firas Al-Rajabi in Silwan neighborhood.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint detained Shahed Mohammad Saleem Abu Kweik {15 years old}.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Ein Sineneh village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 18:50, Israeli forces raided Deir Ijreer village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 21:10.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Um Safa village.

Demonstrations

1. At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Ni'lin town protesting against the construction of the wall during which Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets. stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators and left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Bi'lin town protesting against the construction of the wall during which Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets. stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators and as a result left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets. stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in Ni'lin town and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Jarba village then searched residents and vehicles

Raid

At 05:20, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camps, clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes in the camp and as a result injured 3 residents, detained 3 residents and summoned Baha Mohammad Abu Hajiya to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mustafa Abu Jaldah, Mahmoud Khalid Arrarawi and Kamal Imad Mohammad Awwad in Jenin camp.

Attack

At 05:20, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin camp and as a result injured 3 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents: Mustafa Akram Mustafa Qamba', Wi'am Eyad Ahmad Hanoun and Mohammad Imad Ahmad Awad during clashes in Jenin camp.

TUBAS

Raid

At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Tamoun town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 04:15.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Quffin town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Qaddum village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, stormed and searched 2 homes then withdrew at 05:15.

Demonstrations

At 13:40, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 13:40,Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents who were participating in demonstrations against the closure of the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at "Ayal" Military checkpoint located in North Qalqilya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and detained 2 residents {including a child}.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at "Ayal" Military checkpoint located in North Qalqilya city detained 2 residents: Layth Ahmad Yusef Nofal {16 years old} and Ahmad Adel Al-Haj Hussien.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Kafil Harris town and Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Detention

At 08:45, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Azzam Mohammad Assafrah {A resident of Beit Kahil town in Hebron District} as he was travelling to perform Hajj Pilgrimage.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town and summoned 2 residents: Mahmoud Ibrahim Khalil Dariya and Ahmad Mahmoud Taqatqa to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

HEBRON

Detention

At 08:45, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Samih Mustafa Ghanimat {A resident of Surif town}.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of August 18th 2017, Israeli settlers from "Kiryat Arba'" settlement located in east Hebron city stoned homes owned by Jamal Sa'afin, Jamil Sa'afin and Abdel-Hay Sa'afin located near the settlement.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

• Israeli Military forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Central Gaza districts
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 13:00 on August 18th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 17:00 on August 18th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 10:00 on August 18th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.
2. At 17:00 on August 18th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several demonstrators located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry of 1500 residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed
