DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 17th August 2020 -08:00, 18th August 2020
1. On the morning of 08/17/2020, the occupying forces, present in the vicinity of Qalandia military checkpoint, fired at a citizen (with special needs), wounding him - and he was transferred to an Israeli hospital for treatment.
2. At 20:40, the occupation forces fired near Bab Hatta (one of the doors leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem, shot at a citizen, which led to his death, under the pretext of his attempt to stab a policeman.
3. At 00:30, the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters in the Shuafat camp in Jerusalem at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, which led to the injury of a number of citizens - suffocation cases due to inhaling tear gas.
The martyr who was shot by the occupation forces near Bab Hatta (one of the doors leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem is: Ashraf Hassan Atallah Halasa, 30 years old - resident of Al-Sawahrah Al-Sharqiya.
The wounded man who was shot by the occupying forces in the vicinity of Qalandia military checkpoint is: Walid Abdel Nasser Halawa (with special needs - deaf) - residents of Nablus.
On 08/17/2020, the occupation authorities in Jabal Al Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem forced the citizen: Ahmed Youssef Shqirat to personally demolish 3 shops, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in case the occupation authorities carried out the demolition, under the pretext No license.

At 17:40, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at "Enav" checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
At 23:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Lid, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 24:00.
At 08:55, the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters in the lands of the village of Shufa at the citizens, while they were trying to prevent the occupation forces from continuing the sweeping work to pave a settlement road in preparation for the establishment of an industrial zone, which resulted in the injury of a number of citizens - suffocation cases due to inhaling tear gas and also detained a citizen.

1. At 09:50, the occupation forces detained Ayoub Muhammad Masaid., in Khirbet Al-Shouneh, near the village of Al-Jiftlik.
2. The detainee in Aqbat Jaber camp in Jericho is: Nader Qattam.
1. At 12:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasanah area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 13:20.
2. At 12:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Miniyeh, south of the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 13:30.

At 03:00, the occupying forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, during the storming of Al-Azza and Aida camps in Bethlehem, under the pretext that they had been pelted with stones while they raided a number of homes.

1. At 08:30 on 17/08/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Bureij camp.
2. At 08:45 on 17/08/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Deir Al-Balah.

1. At 01:05 on 18/08/2020, the Israeli warplanes bombed a missile, targeting agricultural land east of Rafah.
2. At 01:10 on 18/08/2020, the Israeli warplanes bombed two missiles, targeting agricultural land east of Rafah.
