Daily Report August 17th, 2016

1. On the evening of August 15th 2016, Israeli forces detained the child Ahmad Na'im Ashayir (17 years old) after storming his home in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city for allegedly attempting to stab a Israeli Settler.
2. At 11:00, Israeli forces detained the child Nabeel Mohammad Ali Rabay'a (17 years old){A resident of Al-Obidiya town in Bethlehem district} in Jerusalem city for allegedly entering with out a permit.
3. At 12:00, Israeli forces detained Ashraf Saleh Hijazi in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city

On the morning of August 16th 2016, Israeli forces stormed Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city and demolished a room {40 m2 }
and the concrete fence surrounding the area which is owned by b Mohammad Ali Eidat.

1. At 17:50 and again at 00:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.
3. At 00:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Amari and Qaddura camps in Al-Bireh city, clashed with several residents as then stormed and searched several homes
and as a result injured a resident and detained 6 others then withdrew at 05:00.

1.On August 15th 2016, Israeli forces positioned in Ein Yabroud village detained Abdel-Hadi Amjad Abdel Hadi Farha (17 years old) {A resident of Deir Dibwan town}.
2. Israeli forces detained 6 residents: Na'el Abu Kweik, Husam Ismail Al-Wawi, Yusef Hamad, Muhanad Samara, Hussein Abu Kweik and Jihad Al-Aza during their raid into Al-Amari and Qaddura camps in Al-Bireh city,

At 01:35, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning
as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a resident during their raid into Al-Amari and Qaddura camps in Al-Bireh city,

1. On the evening of August 16th 2016, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camps, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes,
detained a resident in Jenin city, confiscated a computer and a cellular telephone from a home in Jenin camp then withdrew at 05:50

1. At 21:20, Israeli forces positioned at Barta'a checkpoint detained Mohammad Nassar Khader Alaqmah {A resident of Jenin camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained Majd Ahmad Arqawi {24 years old} in Jenin city.

1. On the evening of August 16th 2016, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ya'bad town.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets,stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged
stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin city and its camps.

At 13:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Eniv" checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:25.

1. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Allar town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 04:00.
2. At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Anabta town, clashed with several residents, clashed with several residents as the stormed and searched several homes
and as a result injured a resident and detained another residents then withdrew at 05:30.

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Yusef Najeeb Mazied in Anabta town.

At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned at "Eniv" checkpoint temporarily detained 2 residents: Moath Ahmad Taher Abu Asal and Abdel-Raheem Amer Ali {Both residents of Anabta town} then released them at a later time.

At 04:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Anabta town.

Israeli forces injured Diya' Mohammad Ala Adib Fuqaha in Anabta town.

At 08:30, Israeli forces stormed Al-Jisr area located along Al-Kafriyat road in south Tulkarem city and
leveled 10 acres of agricultural land {Planted with Olive trees} and uprooted approximately 100 Olive trees

1. At 12:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Hajja and Al-Fanduq villages then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:30, Israeli Forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hablah town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.

2. At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
3. At 12:00, Israeli forces raided Hajja village.
4. At 20:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Laqif village until 21:00.

1. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Bithan and Taluza village junctions then searched residents and vehicles
2. At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 18:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Bithan village.
2.At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Talfit village then stormed and searched a home.
3. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Beita town.
4. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Jama'in town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 02:55.

At 17:35, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara checkpoint detained Urwa Ibrahim Sa'ed Daraghmeh (A Civil Defense Force officer){A resident of Tubas city}.

At dawn on August 17th 2016, Israeli forces stormed Khirbeit Al-Marajim village located in South Duma village and demolished a home owned by Tariq Dirawi.

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwar camp , fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and
tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a
result killed a resident and left 38 others injures then detained a resident and withdrew at dawn on August 17th 2016.
2. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several homes and detained 3 residents.
3. At dawn on August 17th 2016, Israeli forces raided Halhoul town and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on August 17th 2016, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, detained 2 residents and
summoned the child: Omar Mohammad Khalil Awad (16 years old) to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

1. Israeli forces detained Saher Ghatasha in Al-Fuwar camp.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Amjad Zakariya Masaudat , Ahmad Zakariya Masaudat and Ala Masaudat in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Wahab Al-Khatib in Halhul town.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Baha Mohammad Khalil Awad and Nuor Ibrahim Mohammad Al-Za'aqiq in Beit Ummar.

At 04:00 on August 16th 2016, Israeli forces fired live ammunition,
rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents
for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result killed a
resident and left 38 others injured during their raid into Al-Fuwar camp.

1. On August 16th 2016, Former Palestinian prisoner Naim Shawamreh, who developed muscular dystrophy while serving his sentence in Israeli jails, has succumbed to his illness three years after he was released.
The Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Committee said Shawamreh’s death was the result of Israeli medical negligence in prison

2. The resident Mohammad Yusef Abu Hash Hash (18 years old) was killed by Israeli forces in Al-Fuwar camp.

At 00:05 on August 17th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Buriej camp.
