Daily Report August 17, 2017

At dawn on August 17th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Arafat Abu Al-Hamam and Uday Abu Taya in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

At 01:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Ain Al-Louza area located in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

1. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village, stormed the home of Adel Ankoush {who was killed by Israeli forces}, clashed with several residents, detained a resident then withdrew at 07:20.
2. At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:50.
3. At 06:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima town, clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes , detained a resident then withdrew at 06:50.
4. At dawn on August 17th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beitin village and detained 3 residents.
5. At dawn on August 17th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beitunia town and detained a resident.

1. Israeli forces detained Hani Taha Abu Taha in Deir Abu Mash'al village.
2. Israeli forces detained Ramzi Nassar Samir Hamad {17 years old} in Silwad town.
3. Israeli forces detained Fadi Rateb Mustafa Al-Dik in Beit Rima town.
4. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Azziz Al-Yassini, Abed Al-Yassini and Hamada Al-Yassini in Beitin village.
5. Israeli forces detained Nour Al-Qaddi in Beitunia town.

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Turmus'ya town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they demolished the family home of a resident killed by Israeli forces during their raid into Deir Abu Mash'al village.
3. At 06:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a home during their raid into Beit Rima town.

At 02:15 on August 16th 2017, the child Mohammad Ayman Shukri Qandah {17 years old} was hospitalized after he was injured during clashes in Abu Shikhidum village.

At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Araba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

At 14:05, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 22:10, Israeli forces raided Tamoun town until 23:30.

At 07:50 on August 16th 2017 and again at 23:05, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 23:30.

At 12:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Shufa village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.

1. At 09:25, Israeli forces raided Safarin village.
2. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Nur Al-Shams camp and detained 2 residents in the camp including {A National Security Force officer}.

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 02:10.

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Balata camp and detained a resident in the camp then withdrew at 05:00.

1. At 07:40 on August 16th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles until 08:40.
2. At 10:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
3. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya then searched residents and vehicles until 19:00.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles until 18:20.

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Istiya town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 07:30.

At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara checkpoint junction detained Mus'ab Aqef Jamil Awadallah {A resident of Salem village in Nablus District}.

At 23:50, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction checkpoint opened fire towards a resident as he attempted to flee Israeli soldiers and as a result left him hospitalized.

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:10.
2. At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 19:30.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:10.
4. At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 00:30.

1. At 20:25, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 22:30.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Sahur city, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:50.

1. At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned at Checkpoint 300 located in North Bethlehem city detained Ibrahim Yusef Sabah {A resident of Teqou' town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Munthir Mohammad Ibrahim Jabran in Beit Sahour city.

At 20:25, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.

On August 16th 2017, Israeli settlers installed 10 Mobile homes inside "Betar Aliyat settlement" located on land in Nihalin, Husan and Wadi Fuqin villages.

At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Thahriya town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At dawn on August 16th 2017, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.
2. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Surif town, stormed and searched 6 homes, confiscated a vehicle owned by Mahmoud Abdel-Hadi Al-Huwar and confiscated 5500 NIS in cash and Gold Jewelry from the home of Khader Ahmad Ghanimat then summoned Anis Omar Muhisien Ghanimat to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Israeli forces detained Adel Al-Bakri in Hebron city.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
