DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 5th August 2020 -08:00, 6th August 2020
1. At 18:55 on 04.08.2020, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near the entrance of Qalandiya village detained Anwar Mohammad Abu Aliya {a resident of Bir Nabala town}.
2. On 05.08.2020, Israeli forces detained Ma'moun Ghayth in Jerusalem city.
On 03.08.2020, Israeli forces place 2 residents: Abd al-Rahman al-Bashiti and his brother Hatem { residents of the Old City of Jerusalem} under home detention for a period of 5 days as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.
1. On the morning of 05.08.2020, the occupation forces demolished in the Ain al-Lozeh area in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city, 2 of the houses owned by two citizens: Suleiman al-Qaq and his brother Samer, under the pretext of not having a permit.
2. On 05.08.2020, the occupation forces demolished in the Ain al-Louza area in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city, a house of 50 square meters owned by: Sherif Amr, under the pretext of not having a permit.
3. On 05.08.2020, the occupation authorities in the town of Beit Hanina forced the citizen: Muhammad Aloun to personally demolish his 90-square-meter house, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in case the occupation authorities carried out the demolition Under the pretext of not being licensed.
1. On 05.08.2020, in the area between Al-Zaim town and Al-Issawiya village, the occupying forces demolished two agricultural rooms owned by citizens of the Obeid and Abu Jumaa families, and confiscated their equipment, under the pretext of not being licensed.
2. On 05.08.2020, the occupation forces demolished a commercial facility (barbershop) owned by Omar Sheikha, in the Ain al-Loze area in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, under the pretext of not having a license.
At 09:00,groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Ur Al-Tahta and Beit Liqya towns and Ain Arik and Beit Sira villages, detained 4 residents {including a Palestinian Intellegnce officer} then withdrew at 04:45.
1. At 20:05, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Mahkama military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city detained Bashar Mohammad Safi {a resident of Ramallah city}.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents:Odeh Muhammad al-Hajj {a Palestinian Intellegnce officer}(resident of the village of Beit Sira), Mu'tasim Ali Muhammad Asi (resident of the town of Beit Lakya), Saad Asad Yunus Dar Musa (resident of the town of Beit Ur al-Tahta), and Wasfi Nafez Zita (resident of the village of Ain Arik) during their raid into Beit Ur Al-Tahta and Beit Liqya towns and Ain Arik and Beit Sira villages.
On 05.08.2020, a group of settlers in the Ahmar area of Khirbet Al Farisiya in the northern Jordan Valley (for the second day in a row) continued planting trees in an area of land meters away from the residents' homes, and put a water reservoir, with the aim of seizing them.
At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village.
At 03:35, Israeli forces raided Balata camp in Nablus city, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:10.
At 09:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Qarabana village opened fire towards a residents leaving him wounded then detained him.
Israeli forces injured Abdallah Ammar Mohammad Al-Sha'ar after opening fire towards him near Al-Qarabana village.
1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Talib Haj Mohammad {a resident of Balata camp} and Mohammad Najah Samara {a resident of Nablus city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdallah Ammar Mohammad Al-Sha'ar after opening fire towards and wounding him near Al-Qarabana village.
1. On 05.08.2020, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitmar" settlement located in Awarta village levelled a plot of land owned by residents who were in preparing it for cultivation in an attempt to seize it.
2.On the evening of 05.08.2020, Israeli settlers stormed Al-Masaudiya area [a historical site] located near Burqa village then withdrew at a later time.
At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballut town to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.
On 08.05.2020, Israeli forces uprooted approximately 100 fruit bearing trees owned by Anwar Abu Judah in Khirbeit Allan area located near Al-Jiftlik village.
1. At 10:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash Junction (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem) to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 15:20.
2. At 11:35,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 15:20.
3. At 12:15,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched vehicles and checked the identities of citizens.
4. At 20:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 23:00.
5. At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marah Rabah village to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 23:00.
On 05.08.2020, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container military checkpoint detained Haroun Ali Al-Takrouri {a resident of Hebron city}.
1. At 07:30 on 05.08.2020 and again at 07:30 on 06.08.2020, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the South entrance of Hebron city to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.
2. At 08:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Thahriya town to search cars and verify citizens identities.
3. At 16:10,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Hebron city to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.
4. At 07:55 on 06.08.2020,Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Al-Thahriya town and Al-Fuwwar camp to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.
1. At 16:05, Israeli forces raided Khillet Al-Matat village located in east Yatta town then detained 3 residents.
2. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town and detained a resident.
3. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town and detained a resident.
4. At 04:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwwar camp and detained 2 residents{including a child}.
1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Moath Issa al-Najjar, Jihad Ismail Jibril al-Najjar, and Muhammad Yusef al-Najjar in Khillet Al-Matat village located in east Yatta town.
2. Israeli forces detained Salah Ismail Hamdan Al-Badarin in Al-Samou' town.
3. Israeli forces detained Idris Da'san Jaradat in Sa'ir town.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents{including a child}: Muhammad Izz al-Din Tilkh {16 years old}, and Youssef Asma al-Anati in Al-Fuwwar camp.
On 05.08.2020, near the settlement of "Nujuhot", the occupation forces swept away large areas of lands owned by citizens of my family: Ghanam and Odeh, in order to pave new roads for settlement purposes.

* Shujaiya Crossing - "Nahal Oz" fuel crossing: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by unilateral Israeli decision.
*Yasser Arafat International Airport: Closed.
*Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - Kerem Shalom: 05. 08. 2020 is partially open (for the introduction of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel, building materials for the private sector and internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda port - Rafah: on 05. 08. 2020 is closed.
