DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 1st August 2020 -08:00, 2nd August 2020
On the evening of 01.08.2020, Israeli forces detained Omar Shawiki in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
On 01.08.2020,the Occupation Municipality in Jerusalem city approved plans for the construction of additional settlement operating complex located on 90 dunums on the eastern side of Al-Issawiya Village.
At 20:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village {after a number of sheep died due to a group of settlers spraying pesticides and toxins in the pastoral lands), as clashes took place with the citizens while they were patrolling.
At 20:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Mughier village.
1. On 01.08.2020,A group of armed settlers, accompanied by trained (police) dogs, in the wooded lands in the village of Jiba, several resiednts while they were on a hike (of those identified} are: Muhammad Al-Haj Hassan Abdul Ilah, his wife, and his children.
2. At 20:45,a number of sheep have died in Al-Mughair village, as a result of a group of settlers spraying pesticides and toxins in the pastoral lands, owned by Fadl Abu Alia.
1. At 18:50, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, stormed several homes and confiscated surveillance camera footage then detained 3 children.
2. On the evening of 01.08.2020, Israeli forces raided Zubaba village.
Israeli forces detained 3 children: Islam Kamel Abu Shamleh, 17 years old, Ahmed Youssef Salem Abu Bakr, 17 years old, and Nabil Nael Abu Bakr, 17 years old in Ya'bad town.
At 21:45, Israeli forces tightened their procedures at the “Enav” checkpoint, and impeded the movement of traffic until 23:30.
1. At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town to search cars and verify citizens ’identities. 21:00.
2. At 23:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.
At 17:00,Israeli forces positioned near the eastern entrance (closed) in the village of Kafr Qaddum fired rubber-coated metal bullets and sound and tear gas canisters towards the protesting citizens, protesting the closure of the village entrance, on the pretext that they were throwing stones.
1. At 20:55,Israeli forces tightened their restrictions at the Beit Furik checkpoint and impeding traffic.
2. At 00:20,Israeli forces tightened their procedures at Hawara checkpoint and impeded traffic until 00:30.
1. At 17:55,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint between Qusra town and Jallud village to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.
2. At 18:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qaryut village to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.
3. At 20:05,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Nablus city {near the slaughterhouse area roundabout} to search cars and verify citizens ’identities until 20:55.
At 12:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Al-Oja village to search cars and verify citizens ’identities until 16:20.
1. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance Beit Sahur city} to search cars and verify citizens ’identities until 17:45.
2. At 20:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 21:20.
3. At 20:35 and again at 23:05,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched vehicles and checked the identities of citizens until 00:30.
At 01:20, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container military checkpoint detained Na'eem Abu Turki {a resident of Hebron city}.
At 09:50,Israeli forces stormed Ain Jowiz Area located in Al-Waljat village and served notices to halt construction on a home , surrounding concrete fence and water collection well for allegdly being built without a license because of its location in area C which is under Israeli military and administrative control.
1. At 16:45,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Farsh Al-Hawa area located in North Hebron city {near bypass road 35} to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einun village junction to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
3. At 23:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Hebron city , detained a resident then withdrew at 04:55.
At 18:30,Israeli forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
At 14:15, a group of Israeli settlers positioned in Tel Al-Rumaidat neighborhood located in the old city of Hebron attempted to kidnap the child: Rateel Taninat {14 years old} as she was with her family during which Israeli forces detained 3 residents {including a woman and 2 of her children} as they attempted to prevent the kidnapping.
1. Israeli forces detained Omar Maher Obiedo in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents {including a woman and 2 of her children}: Fayzat Abu Shamsiya, her daughter Marwa {17 years old} and her son Awni as they attempted to prevent a group of Israeli settlers from kidnapping the child: Rateel Taninat {14 years old} as she was with her family in Tel Al-Rumaidat neighborhood located in the old city of Hebron.

* Al-Mantar-Karni crossing: closed since 02. 03. 2011 once and for all by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shujaiya Crossing - "Nahal Oz" fuel crossing: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by unilateral Israeli decision.
On the morning of 01.08.2020, Israeli forces temporarily detained a unidentified resident as he was attempting to climb the border fence from east Gaza city into Israeli then released him at a later time.
*Yasser Arafat International Airport is Closed.
*Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - Kerem Shalom on 01.08.2020 is closed (due to Saturday holidays).
* Al-Awda port - Rafah: is closed on 01.08.2020 .
