Daily Report April 30 2022

On 04/29/2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Hizma, and detained a citizen.

1. At 12:35, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Jerusalem detained 3 citizens: Uday Khudair, Sufyan Daoud, and Musab Daoud - (all of them are residents of Beita town, Nablus governorate).
2. At 14:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Muhammad Abed Abu Alia - residents of Al-Mughayer village in Ramallah governorate.
3. At 17:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Abd al-Salam Muhammad Awad - a resident of Awarta village in the Nablus governorate.
4. At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the journalist: Abd al-Salam al-Jamal in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
5. The detainee in the town of Hizma is: Ihab Fathi Salah El-Din.

On 04/ 29/ 2022, the Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Ahmed Firas Al-Awar - residents of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem, for a period of 17 days from Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for his release after arresting him earlier.

At 08:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the town of Al-Ram, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

At 22:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Turmusaya, and detained a citizen.

At 00:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up 4 checkpoints at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, at the entrance to the Habla tunnel (the southern entrance to the city of Qalqilya), at the junction of Jit village, and between the town of Azzun and the village of Izbat al-Tabib, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

At 13:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the eastern entrance (closed) in the village of Kafr Qaddoum fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrators for alleged stoning while protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village and as a result injured 9 civilians and left a number of citizens suffered from suffocation due to inhalation of tear gas.
2. At 15:00,, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of “Eyal” checkpoint, north of Qalqilya fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
3. At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result killed a citizen.

The civilian: Yahya Ali Abdel Hafez Adwan, 27 years old was killed after Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards him during confrontations in the town of Azzun.

9 unidentified civilians were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum

At 22:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Burqa, where clashes took place with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 24:00.

At 13:45, , the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Beit Dajan fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to gas inhalation.
2. At 15:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih in Beitafired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to gas inhalation.
3. At 22:50, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens during their raid into Burqa village.

At 23:55, the Israeli occupation forces closed the Za'tara Junction checkpoint and obstructed traffic.

On the evening of 04/ 29/ 2022, Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to the city of Salfit (after they closed the entrance with earth mounds, under the pretext of killing one of the guards at the entrance to the “Ariel” settlement by unknown assailants),fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 00:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the bridge of Iskaka village, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as a result of which the citizen: Ahmed Khalil Harb - suffocated as a result of inhaling the tear gas.

1. At 11:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Dar Salah village, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 14:15.
2. At 22:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Nahalin, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 04:20.
3. At 01:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 04:15.

At 02:05, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens, while they were returning from performing Tarawih prayers in Al-Aqsa Mosque: Hassan Ibrahim Hassan and Hussein Suleiman Abu Jalgaif - (both of them are residents of Bethlehem).

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 04/29/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
