DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 22:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Jerusalem city detained the citizen: Zuhair Fawaz Hussein - a resident of Iskaka village in Salfit governorate.
2. At dawn on 04/30/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Mujahid Aweissat and Karim Abu Jamal -a residents of Jerusalem.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

Settlers Attacks

At 00:45 on 04/30/ 2021, a group of settlers attacked citizens' homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem, where the neighborhood's residents managed to confront them and force them to leave the place.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Silwad, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At dawn on 04/29/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided Umm Safa village and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. At 00:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the settlement of "Ofra" detained the citizen: Ashraf Zahir Kousa - a resident of Nablus, under the pretext of suspicion of trying to run over a soldier.
2. The detainee in the village of Umm Safa is: Mutayim Awad Jaber al-Rimawi - resident of the town of Beit Rima.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Mansoura, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 02:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of Araba town, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee at a flying checkpoint located at the junction of the town of Araba is: Muhammad al-Amer al-Zulfi -a resident of Jenin camp.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:15, a group of settlers from the "Movodotan" settlement severely beat a citizen while he was grazing sheep near his home in the village of Amriha, southwest of the town of Ya'bad.

Injuries

Ibrahim Nayef Hamdoun, 66 years old was hospitalized with contusions as a result of being severely beaten by a group of settlers from the "Movodotan" settlement while he was grazing his sheep near his home in the village of Amriha.

Military Checkpoints

At 20:35, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 01:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho city, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 22:50.

Raid

At 06:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the Jabal Al-Mawaleh area in Bethlehem, detained 3 civilians, and withdrew at 06:50.

Detention

The 3 detainees in Bethlehem are: Issa Nader Saleh, Muhammad Walid Issa Al-Harimi, and Jihad Awad Al-Taamari.

HEBRON

Detention

1. At 17:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at one of the military checkpoints in the vicinity of Hebron city detained Muhammad Rabi` Ahmad Sultan - A National Security Force Officer.
2. At 21:25, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Al-Haram Al-Ibrahimi in the Old City of Hebron detained the citizen: Amer Radi Muhammad Abu Asab - a resident of Hebron.

Attack

At 13:05, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens demonstrating in solidarity with the people of the city of Jerusalem in the face of attacks by Israeli settlers and the Israeli occupation forces and as a result left several citizens suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• At dawn on 26/04/2021, the occupation forces closed the sea in the Gaza Strip, in front of fishermen until further notice.
•The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Khan Yunis Governorate, and Israeli gunboats opened fire towards Palestinian fishermen's boats at sea off the shores of the North and Central Gaza governorates.

NORTHERN GAZA

Attack

1. At 09:30 on 29/04/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats at sea off the coast of Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 14:30 on 29/04/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats at sea off the coast of Al-Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 09:30 on 29/04/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats at sea off the coast of Deir Al-Balah.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 09:00 on 04/29/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line towards agricultural lands east of Khuza'a town, east of Khan Yunis.

Detention

At 17:00 on 04/29/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 4 unidentified citizens in east of the town of Khuza'a, while they were trying to infiltrate through the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": On 04/29/2021, it is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 04/29/2021 is closed.
