Closure
  • Since December 17th 2013, Israeli forces ordered the closure 500 dunumes of land in Qusra village as a closed military area.
Closure of main Roads
  • The Israeli army continues to close the northern entrance to Qabalan town; the southern entrances to the town of Jamma’in and the villages of Duma and Qaryut.
  • Since 06:30 on November 22nd 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Aqraba and Yanoun village with dirt mounds.
  • Since 13:00 on December 1st 2015, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Tel village and the bypass road near “Yitsahar” settlement and installed a steel gate in the area.
  • Since 18:30 on January 19th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Huwara and Walada village with dirt mounds.
Military Checkpoints
  • At 23:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
Flying Checkpoints
  • At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Furiq town then searched residents and vehicles until 11:35.
  • At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Huwara then searched residents and vehicles.
Temporary Detention
  • At 11:40, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara checkpoint temporarily detained Mohammad Abu Ayash as he was accompanying  his sister {A Cancer Patient} as she was travelling to receive treatment at a hospital in Beit Jallah city in Bethlehem District then released him at a later time.

SALFIT

Closure of main Roads
  • The Israeli army continues to close with dirt mounds the entrance to two detour roads connecting Marda village to its farmland.
  • Since 11:00 on July 30th 2012, Israeli forces have closed two roads leading to Abu Nasar and Qatan Al-Jama’ located in western area of Deir Istiya with cement blocks.
Military Checkpoints
  • Israeli forces continue to intensify their restrictions at Za’tara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
Detention
  • At 09:05, Israeli forces positioned at Za’tara checkpoint detained Daraghmeh Mohammad Bashirat (A resident of Jericho city), Murad Mohammad Abdallah Bashirat (A resident of Tamoun town in Tubas District).
  • At 20:50, Israeli forces positioned at Za’tara junction checkpoint detained Sami Yasser Mahmoud Salah (A resident of Al-Sawiya village in Nablus District).

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints
  • Israeli forces continue to intensify its restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint set up along the road connecting Jericho and Nablus District.

BETHLEHEM

Closure
  • The Israeli army continues to close roads to An Nu’man village, with the exception of the road leading to the Wall gate in the south-eastern area of the village.
  • Since 15 September 2007, the Israel army has prevented civilians from accessing or staying on 22 dunumes of confiscated land in Al Mazmuriya area in Beit Sahur and Bethlehem cities.
Closure of main Roads
  • The Israeli army continues to close the Beit Jala-Wadi Ahmed road; a road between Um Tuba and Al-Jass ; a road between Um Tuba and Khilat Nu’man: a road between Um Tuba and the wall; a road between Al-Khas village and the wall; the 2 by pass roads located south of Al-Walaja; a road between Talita Qumi and Nazlat Al-Sider in Beit Jala; the eastern road of Al-Khader; the road between Al-Khader and Beit Jala  ; Wadi Rahal road near “Ifrat” settlement ,the road between Al-Khader and road #60 which lead to the eastern neighbourhoods of Bethlehem; a road leading to  Wadi Rahal, and a road east of Beit Fajjar town with dirt mounds.
  • Since 10:45 on September 8th 2015, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road located in Arab Al-Rashaydeh village located near “Malee Amous” settlement with dirt mounds.
  • Since May 8th 2013, Israeli forces closed the road connecting Al-Carmisan area in Beit Jalla and Al-Walaja with a steel gate and barbed wires.
  • At 09:15 on February 16th 2016, Israeli forces closed the bypass road connecting Za’tara and Ush Al-Ghurab area located in east Beit Sahur town with dirt mounds.
  • On February 25th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main entrance gate leading to Um Al-Rakaba area in Al-Khader.
  • At 22:40 on March 17th 2016, Israeli forces closed all entrances of Beit Fajjar town and prevented residents from entering or exiting the town.
  • At 12:25 on March 18th 2016, Israeli forces closed the north entrance of Marah Rabah village which leads to Beit Fajjar town with dirt mounds.
Flying Checkpoints
  • At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour then searched residents and vehicles.
  • At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Taqou’, then searched residents and vehicles until 21:55.
  • At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
  • At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.
Raid
  • At dawn on April 18th 2016, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, summoned 2 residents: Zien Sayil Issa and Qassim Yassin Sa’id to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning and again at 02:20 on April 19th 2016 raided the area and detained a woman then withdrew at 02:40.
  • At 21:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, stormed a Gas Station, temporarily detained Issa Nidal Thawabteh as he was working in the gas station then released him after confiscating surveillance camera footage then withdrew at 23:30.
  • At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:45.
Detention
  • On April 17th 2016, Israeli forces detained Khaled Mohammad Ali Salah (A resident of Bethlehem).
  • Israeli forces detained Majd Yusef Atwan Subieh in Al-Khader.
  • Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Murad Mohamamd Ali Taqatqa and Waleed Issa Ali Taqatqa in Beit Fajjar.

HEBRON

Closure
  • The Israeli army continues to close Al-Shuhada’ Street, Al-Sahleh and Khuzq Al-Far areas, as well as the old gold market in Hebron’s Old City. In addition to closing the entrance to Al-Qeisi neighbourhood, the Israeli army continues to close the entrances to the area of Al-Hisba (the fruits and vegetables market) with an electronic gate; Al-Laban Market also remains closed.
  • Since 05 January 2009, the Israeli army has closed the area located along the Green Line south of the town of Yatta. Having seized land for Wall construction, the Israeli army evicted the Palestinian residents and denied them access to the area.
Closure of main Roads
  • The Israeli army continues to prohibit Palestinian vehicles from travelling along the old Al-Shalala Street leading to Hebron’s Old City.
  • The Israeli army continues to close the bypass road connecting Bani Na’im and Zif village junction with dirt mounds.
  • The Israeli Army continues to close the entrance of Beit Ummar (located near the local Cemetery) with dirt mounds.
  • At 14:30 on April 15th 2016, Israeli forces closed the main entrance road leading to Al-Aroub camp with dirt mounds.
Raid
  • At 09:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, fired stun and tear gas grenades towards Al-Zahra Girls School and as a result left 15 school girls suffocated from tear gas inhalation and again  at dawn on April 19th 2016 detained 2 residents after storming and searching their homes.
  • At 18:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Aroub camp, stormed a home then fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several water tanks on the roof of a home.
  • At 03:25, Israeli forces raided Sa’ir town and stormed a home.
Detention
  • At 01:30 on April 18th 2016, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mazin Jamal Jibril Al-Natsheh, Izat Abdel-Azziz Mohammad Al-Natsheh and Munthir Mohammad Yunis Al-Ju’bah during their raid into Hebron city in addition to those mentioned in the previous report.
  • Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Eyad Jamil Mahmoud Abu Snieneh and Ibrahim Sa’id Abu Ramoz in Hebron city.
GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

  • At 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of  increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.
  •  
  • Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza.
  • Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Rafah and as a result injured a Palestinian Fisherman.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points
  • Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
Attack
  • At 08:00, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points
  • Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
  • Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
Attack
  • At 12:00, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.

RAFAH

Closure of Checkpoints
  • Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
  • Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed
  • Sufa Crossing is closed
  • Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is open for the entry Humanitarian assistance.
Attack
  • On the morning of April 19th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah and as a result injured a fisherman then detained 4 fishermen (including the injured resident) and confiscated a fishing boat.
Detention
  • Israeli forces detained 4 fishermen: Ali Samir Al-Bardawil (injured resident), Mustafa Mohammad Al-Najjar, OdayHassan Al-Najjar and Ahmad Abu Muhisien off the shores of Rafah.
