DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 17th April 2021 -08:00, 18th April 2021
1. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Bab al-Asbat area in the Old City of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Ahmad Melhem.
2. On the evening of 04/17/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem city detained the citizen: Muhammad Saida.
1. On 16/04/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities in Jerusalem imposed house arrest on the citizen: Muhammad Haitham Mustafa {a resident of Al-Issawiya village}for a period of 4 months .
2. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces temporarily detained 3 citizens (candidates for the Palestinian Legislative Council): Ratibah Al-Natsheh, Ashraf Al-Awar, and Nasser Qous to prevent the holding of a press conference, which was scheduled to be held at the "St. George" Hotel in Jerusalem and released them at 18:00.
On 04/16/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport 2 citizens: Nadim Safadi and Saleh Abu Asab {both are residents of Al-Issawiya village} from Jerusalem for a period of 4 months in addition to preventing them from communicating with a number of Jerusalemite citizens
At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Bab al-Amud and Bab al-Zahraa areas in the Old City of Jerusalem fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens as they left Al-Aqsa Mosque after performing the Tarawih prayers.
On 04/17/2021, the Israeli occupation authorities in Jerusalem began work to convert the mufti's vineyard in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of the city into a "biblical" garden.
At 20:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Aboud, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Abu Mashaal, and conducted a patrol.
At 18:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the "Kedumim" settlement junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 00:30, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Huwara checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
At 13:25, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 civilians: Mahmoud Ahmad Odeh and Khaled Ghassan Abu Halima - a resident of Askar Camp in Nablus city.
At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr al-Dik, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Jericho city, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 12:45, a group of settlers entered the citizens' agricultural lands in the Deir Maalla area, north of the town of Beit Fajjar, and burned about 50 olive trees, owned by the citizen: Naseem Taqatqa.
1. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawwar camp, and arrested a citizen.
2. At 21:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Beit Ainoun village junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 23:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Awa, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the entrance to al-Fawwar camp is: Bahaa Thabet Mahmoud al-Najjar - a resident of al-Fawwar camp.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the governorates of Central Gaza and Khan Yunis, and Israeli gunboats opened fire towards Palestinian fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza governorate.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 04/17/2021, it is closed (due to the Saturday holiday).
1. At 08:30 on 17/04/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 14:00 on 17/04/2021, Israeli gunboats opened fire at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
3. At 16:30 on 17/04/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 03:45 on 04/18/2021, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Bureij camp.
At 16:00 on 17/04 2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": On 04/17/2021 is closed (due to the Saturday holiday).
