WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• At 16:00 on 04/15/2021, the Israeli occupation forces imposed a complete closure on the governorates of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip due to the "Passover" of the Jews, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering the city of Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions and humanitarian and emergency medical cases after prior coordination, and lifting the closure at dawn on April 17, 2021.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya, detained a Palestinian Civil Police bus, and arrested a policeman from inside, and the bus was allowed to pass at a later time.

Assault on medical sector

At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem, and detained 2 civilians (who were wounded during the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, as mentioned in a report on 04/15/ 2022).

Detention

1. On the evening of 04/ 16/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Al-Thawri neighborhood in Jerusalem detained the citizen: Mahmoud Jamil Ghaith.
2. At dawn on 04/17/2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Old City, Bab al-Amud area, and Shuafat camp in Jerusalem detained 6 citizens: Ali Quneibi, Muhammad Fouad al-Zaatari, Omar al-Zarro, Ahmed Marzouk, Malik Diba, and Muhammad Munir.
3. The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya is: Muhammad Atallah Abu Alia {A Police Officer and resident of the village of Al-Mughayer in Ramallah governorate}.
4. The two detainees from Al-Makassed Hospital in Jerusalem are: Omar Shweiki and Haitham Al-Jabari.

Attack

1. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Al-Quds University in the town of Abu Dis, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 00:40, the Israeli occupation forces, assigned to guard the apartheid wall near the village of Beit Ijza, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Injuries

At 06:00 on 04/15/2022, the citizen: Ahmed Fawaz Abu Armila – a resident of Jerusalem, was injured in the face, which led to the loss of his left eye and fractures in the jaw and nose, as a result of being hit by a rubber bullet by the Israeli occupation forces during their storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque ( As mentioned in a report on 04/15/ 2022).

Physical Assault

At 24:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem severely beat the citizen: Muhammad Abu al-Hummus – a resident of al-Isawiya village, as a result of which he sustained bruises.

Provocation of Palestinian Forces

At 09:50, the Israeli occupation forces temporarily seized a Palestinian Civil Police bus at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya, and detained a policeman from inside, before allowing the bus to pass at a later time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 23:50, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, toured its courtyards and facilities, and withdrew at a later time.
2. At 06:00, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and fired and tear gas canisters towards worshipers in the Al-Qibli prayer hall, in an attempt to evacuate the worshipers from inside. They also attacked women with batons near the Dome of the Rock, injuring 19 worshipers. It also forced the worshipers into the chapels, and closed their doors on them, to secure the storming of groups of extremist settlers into the mosque’s courtyards, and provocatively wandering in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the roundabout of Ain Sinia village, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

At 00:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Aboud, and detained 2 civilians.

Detention

The two detainees in the town of Aboud are: Walid al-Barghouti and Moamen al-Barghouti.

Attack

1. At 15:15 and 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
2. At 18:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
3. At 23:50, the Israeli occupation forces charged with guarding the racist separation wall in the south of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:40, a group of Israeli settlers in the area east of Al-Mughayer village attacked a number of farmers and shepherds while grazing their sheep in the pasturelands, as a result of which 2 shepherds were injured and bruised.

Injuries

The two Sheppard’s: Anan Amin Abu Alia, and Shaker Nabil Abu Alia - residents of Al-Mughayer village were hospitalized with contusions as a result of the settlers' attack east of Al-Mughayer village.

JENIN

Temporary Detention

At 00:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the "Movodotan" checkpoint on the main road Jenin - Tulkarm, temporarily detained Ahmed Abed Ahmed Masoud (from the customs police) - residents of Barta'a al-Sharqiya village, and released him at a later time.

Attack

1. At 01:35, the Israeli occupation forces, assigned to guard the racist separation wall near the villages of Anin and Zabouba, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens - workers, while they were trying to enter to work inside the Green Line.
2. At 01:35, the Israeli occupation forces charged with guarding the apartheid wall near the villages of Tora al-Gharbiyeh and Umm Dar fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens - workers, while they were trying to enter to work inside the Green Line.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 11:10 and again at 21:55, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Einaf" checkpoint and obstructed traffic.

Detention

At 24:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Shufa checkpoint detained the citizen: Yahya Abdel Rahman Rashid Badir – a resident of Far’oun village.

Attack

1. At 12:50 and 23:30, the Israeli occupation forces, assigned to guard the apartheid wall near the village of Far’oun, opened fire towards a citizen, while he was trying to enter to work inside the Green Line, and as a result injured 2 civilians - injuries (one of them was transferred to an Israeli hospital for treatment ).
2. At 22:15, the Israeli occupation forces, located in the vicinity of Gate No. 104 built on the apartheid wall near the city of Tulkarm, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces, assigned to guard the racist separation wall near the town of Zita, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens - workers, while they were trying to enter to work inside the Green Line.

Injuries

Two civilians: Omar Yasser Ahmed Abu Shehadeh - residents of Anabta town in Tulkarm governorate, and Anas Fayez Mustafa - residents of Qabalan town in Nablus governorate were injured by the Israeli occupation forces assigned to guard the apartheid wall near the village of Far’oun .

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:40 and again at 23:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to Qalqilya to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 21:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Hajjah village, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 21:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the hotel village, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
4. At 01:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the Wadi Qana road (the main road connecting the Salfit and Qalqilya governorates), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

1. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided Hajja village, and detained 3 civilians (including 2 children).
2. At dawn on 04/ 17/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Qalqilya, and detained 2 citizens (brothers).

Detention

1. The three detainees in Hajjah village are: Karem Muayyad Baslat, 17 years old, Ahmed Saleh Ahmed Farhana, 17 years old, and Hamed Musa Khalil Tayoun.
2. The two detainees in the city of Qalqilya are: Abd al-Rahman Khadraj and his brother Abd al-Haq.

Attack

1. At 15:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of “Eyal” checkpoint, north of Qalqilya, fired live ammunition ,rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injuring a citizen.
2. At 17:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the (closed) eastern entrance to the village of Kafr Qaddoum fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village for alleged stoning
3. At 23:15, , the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to Hajja village fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.
4. At 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces, assigned to guard the racist separation wall near the town of Jayyous, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
5. At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to Al-Funduq village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Injuries

1. The civilian: Amir Faris Owaisi was injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of the “Eyal” checkpoint, located north of the city of Qalqilya.
2. The civilian: Ahmed Nadim Basalat was injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the entrance to Hajja village.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Bazaria, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Detention

At 14:35, the Israeli occupation forces detained 3 children: Saif Muhannad Al-Safadi, Louay Nihad Al-Safadi, and Zaid Nihad Al-Safadi while they were near the school of the village of Orif.

Attack

1. At 22:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to Deir Sharaf village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 23:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Furik fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:00, a group of Israeli settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens, located east of the village of Rojib, and cut down 22 olive trees owned by: Rehab Mustafa Dweikat.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 01:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, to search vehicles and citizens and check the citizens' identities.
2. At 01:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the "Arail" settlement roundabout, to search vehicles and citizens and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Deir Istiya and clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol.

Temporary Detention

1. At 01:30, the Israeli occupation forces temporarily detained 2 citizens: Jamil Amjad Jaber and Samed Hisham Omar at the entrance to the town of Kifl Haris, and later released them.
2. At 01:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, the citizen: Waad Ali Qaraosh, and released him at a later time.

Attack

At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Istiya town.

Settlers Attacks

At 23:00, a group of Israeli settlers near the "Eli Zahav" settlement threw stones at the vehicles of citizens passing by.

JERICHO

Attack

At 23:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the southern entrance to Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:10, the Israeli occupation forces closed the "Container" checkpoint, in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:45 and again at 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tekoa to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Janata town, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
3. At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Jouret al-Shamaa, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
4. At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Husan village, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Detention

1. At 20:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at (the container) military checkpoint detained the citizen: Muhammad Nasser Al-Badawi -a resident of Al-Aroub camp in the Hebron governorate.
2. On 04/16/2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at (the container) military checkpoint detained the citizen: Muhammad Atallah Abu Alia – a resident of Al-Mughayer village in Ramallah governorate.

HEBRON

Raid

At 20:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Hebron and stormed a house.

Attack

1. At 13:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.
2. At 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the roundabout of the village of Beit Ainun, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
3. At 21:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
4. At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the junction of Zif village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
5. At 22:25, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Bani Naim fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.
6. At 23:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Al-Zahiriya fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
7. At 23:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of As-Samou fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

1. The civilian: Qusai Munjed Fayez Al-Qasrawi was injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
2. The civilian: Issa Khaled Tarayrah was injured during confrontations with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Bani Naim.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Khan Yunis governorate, and by firing at fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza and Gaza governorates.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 04/16/ 2022 is closed for Saturday holiday.

Attack

1. At 01:00 on 04/17/2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen’s boats while they were chasing them in the open sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniya area, west of Beit Lahia town.

GAZA

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 13:00 on 04/16/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 05:45 on 04/17/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired and fired tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH
