JERUSALEM

Raid

(i) At 01:05, Israeli forces raided the towns of Izariyye and Abu Dis and patrolled them until 04:00.
(ii) At 04:00, Israeli forces raided the town of Al-Ram and patrolled it until 04:30.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 12:30, a group of extremist settlers guarded by Israeli forces raided the compound of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint under the bridge of Ein Yabroud village and searched civilians and vehicles until 15:25.
(ii) At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the bridge of Atara town and searched civilians and vehicles until 22:35.
(iii) At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of the town of Silwad and searched civilians and vehicles until 22:40.
(iv) At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Um Safa village and searched civilians and vehicles until 23:30.
(v) At 23:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Pisgot settlement east of the city of Al-Bireh and searched civilians and vehicles until 00:15.

Raid

(i) At 05:30 on 21 July 2016, Israeli forces raided the town of Beitunia, stormed into and searched 1 civilian home, confiscated 1 vehicle 07:00.
(ii) At 23:10, Israeli forces raided east of the city of Al-Bireh, set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Pisgot settlement and withdrew at 00:15.
(iii) At 24:00, Israeli forces raided the village of Kharbatha Al-Misbah, clashed with civilians during house search, arrested 1 civilian and withdrew at 02:00.
(iv) At 03:15, Israeli forces raided the village of Kafr Nimeh and delivered notification to civilian Othman Mahmoud Nasr to report to the Israeli intelligence and withdrew at 03:55.

Detention

(i) In the morning of 21 July 2016, Israeli forces arrested near Ofer military camp civilian Mohammad Hussam Al-Rukh, a resident of Jenin refugee camp.
• The civilian arrested in the village of Kharbatha Al-Misbah is Abdelsattar Shaker Abdel Muti Musleh.

Attack

• At 24:00, Israeli forces fired during raid on the village of Kharbatah Al-Misbah stun grenades towards civilians for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

At 05:30, on 21 July 2016, Israeli forces confiscated during raid ion the town of Beitunia a civilian vehicle owned by Riyad Mahmoud Abdelhadi Shehadeh.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the roundabout of the town of Al-Yamun and searched civilians and vehicles until 16:35.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

• At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of the village of Faron and searched civilian and vehicles until 19:15.

Detention

At 02:10 on 21 July 2016, Israeli forces arrested during raid on Tulkarem refugee camp in the city of Tulkarem (as mentioned in the last report) civilian Saleh Ghassan Saleh.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

• At 01:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of the village of Ein Jaloud and searched vehicles and civilians.

Raid

• At 23:00, Israeli forces raided the village of Beit Amin, detained 2 children for alleged stoning and released them at a later time after investigating with them in Shaarai Tikva settlement built near the village of Azun Itmeh.

Temporary Detention

At 23:00, Israeli forces detained during raid on the village of Beit Amin 2 children for alleged stoning and released them at a later time after investigation in Shaarai Tikva settlement built near the village of Azun Itmeh. The children are Islam Abdelrahman Mohammad Ali, 15, and Ali Jalal Abdelhadi, 16.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

• At 18:30, Israeli forces intensified restrictions at Huwara checkpoint and impeded traffic flow until 18:50.

• At 18:20, Israeli forces raided and patrolled the town of Qabalan.

Detention

At 01:35 on 21 July 2016, Israeli forces arrested 9 civilians during raid on the village of Kafr Qalil (as mentioned in the last report). The civilians are Farouk Khalil Mohammad Amer, Jasem Farah Mansour, Rabee Murjan Mansour, Iqab Kjhaled Amer, Rami Said Jamil, Ahmad Nabil Amer, Mohammad Ziyad Amer, Fadi Sleiman and Fahd Amer.

SALFIT

Raid

• At 21:20, Israeli forces raided and patrolled the town of Brouqin.

Temporary Detention

• At 19:00, Israeli forces detained at Zaatara junction checkpoint 3 military officers from the NSF and PCP: Police officer Wael Anani, police officer Abdelraouf Abu Fidah and military officer Nasser Abu Seif. The officers were released at 19:15.

Settlement Activities

• On 20 July 2016. Israeli forces uprooted olive trees and razed land on agricultural land in the town of Deir Istiyya for the construction of a bypass road for settlers.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

• At 07:05 and 20:15 on 21 July 2016, Israeli forces set up at the south entrance of the city of Jericho and searched civilians and vehicles until 10:05.

Detention

At 16:00, Israeli forces arrested on Ein Gedi Road near the Dead Sea 2 civilians (including 1 female civilian) from the city of Ramallah after chasing an ambulance they are riding. The 2 civilians are Nuha Zakarneh and Fadi Akram Hassan Asmar.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 12:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint on the bridge of Dar Salah village and searched vehicles and civilians until 13:00.
(ii) At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint on the east entrance of the village of Marah Barah and searched civilians and vehicles until 14:00.
(iii) At 13:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Caritas Hospital north of Bethlehem and searched civilians and vehicles until 15:00.
(iv) At 16:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint on the north entrance of the town of Teqoa and searched civilians and vehicles until 17:20.
(v) At 16:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the center of the village of Beit Tamur and searched civilians and vehicles until 17:00.
(vi) At 20:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Manasheer area alongside the town of Al-Khader and searched civilians and vehicles until 23:00.

Raid

(i) At dawn on 21 July 2016, Israeli forces raided the village of Freides east of Bethlehem and arrested 1 civilian.
(ii) At 13:05 and at dawn on 22 July 2016, Israeli forces raided the city of Bethlehem, set up a checkpoint near caritas Hospital and arrested 1 civilian.
(iii) At 16:55, Israeli forces raided the village of Beit Tamur, set up a checkpoint in the village centre and withdrew at 17:00.
(iv) At 22:50, Israeli forces raided the town of Obaidiyye, stormed into several commercial stores and withdrew at 00:45.
(v) At 22:50, Israeli forces raided the city of Beit Sahour, stormed into and searched 2 civilian homes and 1 commercial store and withdrew at 00:45.
(vi) At 02:40, Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, clashed with civilians and delivered notifications to 3 civilians to report to the military intelligence. The civilians are Obaid Radi Diriyyeh, Mahmoud Mousa Mohammad Taqatqa and Mahmoud Mustafa Mohammad Taqatqa.
(vii) At dawn on 22 July 2016, Israeli forces raided the town of Doha and delivered notification to civilian Anas Adnan Malash to report to the Israeli intelligence.

Detention

(i) The civilian arrested in the village of Freides east of the city of Bethlehem is Murad Mohammad Abu Mahamid.
(ii) The civilian arrested in the city of Bethlehem is Ali Ismail al=-Battat.

Attack

At 02:40, Israeli forces fired during raid on the town of Beit Fajjar stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards civilians for alleged stoning during house search.

HEBRON

Raid

(i) At 01:55, Israeli forces raided the town of Halhul, stormed into 1 civilian home and delivered notification to civilian Ayman Mohammad Jumaah Jbarat to report to the Israeli intelligence and withdrew at 04:20.
(ii) At 02:30, Israeli forces raided the Al-Arroub refugee camp and delivered notification to civilian Walid Hussein Mohammad Muzayyan to report to the Israeli intelligence.

Detention

• At 01:10 on 21 July 2016, Israeli forces arrested during raid on the town of Beit Awwa (as mentioned in the last report) civilian Ahmad Maher Abdallah Mallouh.

Attack

• At 23:10, Israeli forces positioned opposite Al-Arroub refugee camp fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards civilians for alleged stoning, resulting in damaging the window panes of the home of civilian Kamal Harbiyyeh.

Destruction of Property

• At 23:10, Israeli forces destroyed in Al-Arroub refugee camp the window panes of civilian home owned by Kamal Harbiyyeh as a result of firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters at civilians for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

(i) At 21:50, Israeli forces closed road connecting the town of Al-Thahiriyye and the village of Al-Ramadin with dirt mounds.
At 00:30, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Al-Fahs area south of the city of Hebron and denied civilian access.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area from 300 to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month. On 3 April 2016 the decision to expand the fishing area from 6 to 9 nautical miles entered into effect but the Israeli authorities reduced the area back to 6 nautical miles on 26 June 2016.
Israeli forces broke cease fire by infiltrating into Palestinian areas in Rafah. Israeli forces also opened fire from their position behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Israeli navy boats opened fire at fishing boats in Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

Beit Hanun (Erez) is partially open for humanitarian cases, international journalists, employees working for humanitarian agencies, businessmen and passengers traveling though Al-Karama Crossing.

Closure of Crossing Points

(i) Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
(ii) Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

• At 12:50, on 21 July 2016, Israeli navy boats opened ire towards fishing boats in the city of Gaza and caused material damage to fishing boats.

Attack

(i) At 15:20 on 21 July 2016, Israeli forces opened fire from their position behind the Green Line towards agricultural land east of Al-Maghazi refugee camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

(i) Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
(ii) Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
(iii) Sufa Crossing is closed
(iv) Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

Raid

Raids: At 07:45 on 21 July 2016, Israeli bulldozers infiltrated at the depth of 50 meters east of the city of Rafah and razed lands until 11:30.
