WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

(i) At 15:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town, stormed a meat processing factory and detained 3 civilians including 2 brothers.
(ii) At dawn on 20 July 2016, Israeli forces raided the towns of Isawiyye and arrested 3 civilians.

Detention

(i) The 3 civilians detained in Al-Ram are Mujahed Mohammad Youssef Awadalla from Beitnuia in Ramallah, Amjad Ramadan and his brother Maher.
(ii) The 3 civilians detained in Isawiyye are Abdallah Mustafa, Mohammad Nasser Mahmoud and Mohammad Amer Mahmoud.

Attack

(i) At 19:30, Israeli forces in Al-Kassarrat area north of Al-Ram town fired live bullets and tear gas canisters towards civilians for alleged stoning, killing 1 child.
(ii) At 22:25, Israeli forces near Al-Ram town fired live and rubber coated steel bullets and tear gas canisters towards civilians for alleged stoning.

Killings

• The child killed in Al-Kassarrat area north of Al-Ram is Muhyi Sadeq Tabaghhi, 12 years.

House Demolition

• On 19 July 2016, Israeli forces demolished in Tel Al-Ful area in the old town of Beit Hanina a 120-square-meter house under construction owned by civilian Shurahbil Alqam.

Destruction of Property

• On 19 July 2016, Israeli forces demolished in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem commercial stores and car wash workshop owned by civilian Arafat Abu Al-Lahham under the pretext of unlicensed construction.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of settlers guarded by Israeli forces stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and toured it provocatively.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

(i) At 19:15, Israeli forces raided the town of Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiyyeh, clashed with civilians during patrol and withdrew at 21:15.
(ii) At 02:10, Israeli forces raided the village of Abu Mishal, arrested 1 civilian and withdrew at 03:00.
(iii) At 02:40, Israeli forces raided the town of Abboud, arrested 3 civilians and withdrew at 04:15.
(iv) At 04:00, Israeli forces raided the town of Silwad and arrested 3 civilians.

Detention

(i) At 02:25 on 19 July 2016, Israeli forces detained during a raid on Jalazon refugee camp civilian Youssef Ghawanmeh.
(ii) The civilian detained in Deir Abu Mishal village is Omar Ahmad Mohammad Ata.
(iii) The 3 civilians detained in Abboud town are Youssef Awad Mohammad Awad, Zeid Adnan Dhiab and Mohammad Qaher Abdelmajeed.
(iv) The 3 civilians detained in Silwad town are Abdelrahman Mustafa Hamid, Ibrahim Mohammad Abdelaziz Hamid and Abdelrahim Bassam Abdelrahim Hamid.

Attack

At 19:15, Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades towards civilians in the town of Al-Mazra’a Al-Sharqiyyeh for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Raid

• At 02:45, Israeli forces raided the town of Kafr Rai, arrested 1 civilian and withdrew at 05:30.

Detention

(i) On 17 July 2016, Israeli forces arrested in the village of Barta’a Al-Sharqiyyeh civilian Ahmad Amjad Abdelhaq Yihya from Kafr Rai.
(ii) The civilian arrested In Kafr Rai is Mahmoud Mohannad Ismail Yaaqbah.

TULKAREM

Raid

(i) At 01:20, Israeli forces raided the city of Tulkarem, arrested 1 civilian and withdrew at 04:55.
(ii) At 01:35, Israeli forces raided the village of said and arrested 1 civilian

Detention

(i) The civilian arrested in Tulkarem city is Saadeh Saleh Jallad.
(ii) The civilian arrested in Saida village is Laith Wasef Izzat Al-Ashqar

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

• At 13:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of the city of Qalqilya and impeded traffic until 14:00.

Settlers Attacks

At 15:25, a group of settlers razed agricultural land behind the Apartheid wall in the town of Jayyous.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint on the roundabout of the village of Deir Sharaf and searched civilians and vehicles until 11:00.
(ii) At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the village of Deir Sharaf (on Nablus-Tulkarem main road) and searched civilians and vehicles.

Raid

• At 02:50, Israeli forces raided the Balata refugee camp in Nablus, arrested 1 civilian and withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

• The civilian arrested in balata refugee camp in Nablus is Hamdan Ahmad Shteiwi.

Settlers Attacks

(i) At 01:55, a group of settlers raided the city of Nablus in a private vehicle in attempt t to reach Joseph’s Tomb but a Palestinian police patrol positioned nearby forced them to leave.
(ii) At 03:30, a group of settlers raided the village of duma and hurled a Molotov towards a civilian home owned by Mohammad Raqi Abdelfattah Dawabsheh resulting in the incineration of the furniture.

Destruction of Property

At 03:30, the furniture of a civilian home in the village of Duma owned by Mohammad Raqi Abdelfattah Dawabsheh was burnt as a result of Molotov thrown at the house by a group of Jewish settlers.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of the city of Salfit and impeded traffic.
(ii) At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of the town of Deir Ballout and impeded traffic until 23:00.

Raid

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided the town of Al-Zawiye and stormed and searched 1 civilian home.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 10:15 and 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of the city of Jericho and searched civilians and vehicles until 21:30.
(ii) At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jiftlek and impeded traffic until 23:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

(i) At 12:10 and 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of the city of Beit Jala and searched civilians and vehicles until 21:30.
(ii) At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the village of Dar Salah at the east entrance of Beit Sahour and searched civilians and vehicles until 21:30.
(iii) At 00:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint under the bridge of the town of Al-Khader (on the road to west village in the district) and searched civilians and vehicles until 01:30.
(iv) At 02:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Paradise Hotel north of the city of Bethlehem and searched civilians and vehicles until 02:40.
(v) At 04:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of Al-Nashash (couth entrance to Bethlehem) and searched civilians and vehicles until 05:30.

Raid

(i) At 13:30, Israeli forces raided the village of Al-Halqoum west of the town of Teqoa and delivered notifications to halt the construction of 6 homes under the pretext of unlicensed construction.
(ii) At 15:20, Israeli forces raided the city of Bethlehem and occupied the rooftop of a civilian home near the electricity company in the vicinity of Bilal Ben Rabah Mosque. The home is owned by Jawad Jumah Odeh. The raid occurred a second time at 02:10 during which Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near paradise Hotel north of the city of Bethlehem and impeded traffic.
(iii) At 01:45, Israeli forces raided the town of Teqoa, stormed several civilian homes, arrested 3 civilians and delivered 1 notification to civilian Akram Khalaf Jibril, and then withdrew at 03:30

Detention

the 3 detained in Taqu'a village are: Shadi El Umour, Saber El Umour, and Juma'a Abu Mefreh.

House Occupation

At 15:20 Israeli Forces occupied the rooftop of a house located near Belal Ben Rabah Mosque , and owned by Jawad Oudeh.

Assaults on Property

At 13:30, Israeli forces delivered during a raid on the village of Al-Halqoum west of Teqoa notifications to halt the construction of 6 civilian homes owned by Izzat Ali Mohammad Ali, Raed Atiyyeh Abed Taamreh, Murad Attiyeh Abed Taamreh, Khalil Mousa amour, Hafez Mohammad Amour and Naim Hussein Salahat.

HEBRON

Raid

(i) At 09:30, Israeli forces raided the town of Yatta, stormed into and searched 2 civilian homes and withdrew at 11:45.
(ii) At 22:50, Israeli forces raided the city of Hebron and delivered a notification to civilian Munther Qawasmi to report to the military intelligence. In addition, the Israeli forces shut down 3 blacksmith workshops.
(iii) At 22:50, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa and arrested 1 child.
(iv) At 01:20, Israeli forces raided and patrolled the town of Edna.
(v) At 01:25, Israeli forces raided the town of Sair and delivered a notification to civilian Khalil Shalaldeh to report to the military intelligence and then withdrew at 04:30.
(vi) At 01:55, Israeli forces raided the town of Dura, clashed with civilians during house search and arrested 2 civilians.
(vii) At 02:10, Israeli forces raided the town of Shuyukh and searched 1 civilian home.

Detention

(i) The civilian arrested in Beit Awwa is Youssef Maher Mallouh Masalmeh, 14.
(ii) The 2 civilians arrested in Dura are Mohammad Ahmad Qazzaz and Khaled Nasser Al-Faqih.

Killings

At 12:50, civilian Mustafa Bardiyyeh, 50, from Surif town, died of injuries sustained during clashed with the Israeli forces at the entrance of Al-Arroub refugee camp (as mentioned in the last report). .

Attack

• At 01:55, Israeli forces during a raid on Dura fired stun grenades and tear gas canister towards civilians for alleged stoning during house search.

Assaults on Property

At 22:50, Israeli forces shut down during a raid on the city of Hebron 3 blacksmith workshops owned by Muhyieddin Rajabi, Ismail Jamjoum and Younis Zaru.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area from 300 to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month. On 3 April 2016 the decision to expand the fishing area from 6 to 9 nautical miles entered into effect but the Israeli authorities reduced the area back to 6 nautical miles on 26 June 2016.
Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding North and Central Gaza. Israeli navy forces opened fire towards fishing boats in North Gaza and injured several fishermen.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

• Beit Hanun (Erez) is partially open for humanitarian cases, international journalists, employees working for humanitarian agencies, businessmen and passengers traveling though Al-Karama Crossing.

Raid

• At 12:00 on 19 July 2016, Israeli military bulldozers razed land at the depth of 50 meters east of Jabalia refugee camp and withdrew at 15:30.

Attack

At 01:00 on July 19th, 2016 , Israeli military boats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Sudanyeh area west of Beit Laheh, and injured a fisherman.

Injuries

The fisherman injured in Sudanyeh area has not been identified.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

(i) Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
(ii) Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 07:30 on 19 July 2016, Israeli military bulldozers entered east of Breij refugee camp at the depth of 100 meters, razed and withdrew at 12:00.

Detention

At 19:30 on 19 July 2016, Israeli forces arrested an unidentified civilian east of the city of Der Al-Balah for alleged infiltrating through the border fence into Israel.

RAFAH

(i) Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
(ii) Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
(iii) Sufa Crossing is closed
(iv) Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
