MONTHLY SUMMARY OF ISRAELI VIOLATIONS

01 December 2022 – 31 December 2022

 

The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 December 2022 to 31 December 2022. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only. 

 

 

Sample of Israeli Violations during the Month of  December 2022

On the morning of 12/1/2022, the occupation forces raided the city of Jenin and its camp, clashed with the citizens as they stormed a number of homes and as a result killed 2 citizens (one of whom was a military member of the National Security Forces): Naim Jamal Al-Zubaidi, 27 years old, and Muhammad Ayman Shafea Al-Saadi, 26 years old - both of them are residents of Jenin camp, and injured a citizen in the camp. On 12/2/2022, one of the occupation soldiers in the town of Hawara fired directly and from point-blank range and killed a citizen:  Ammar Hamdi Nayef Mufleh, 23 years old - residents of the village of Osrin (after an altercation occurred between them). On 12/5/2022, the occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result killed a citizen: Omar Youssef Hassan Manna Fararja, 22 years old , the injured 6 citizens, and left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation. 12/7/2022, the occupation forces positioned in the town of Deir Dibwan, fired at a private vehicle, killing a citizen: Mujahid Mahmoud Hamed, 32 years old - a resident of the town of Silwad. 12/7/2022.  the occupation forces raided the city of Jenin and its camp, clashed with the citizens while surrounding a number of houses, and as a result killed 3 citizens: Sidqi Siddiq Zakarneh, 29 years old, resident of Jenin, Atta Yassin Mahmoud Shalabi, 46 years old, resident of Qabatiya town, and Tariq Fawzi al-Damej, 29 years old, resident of Jenin camp and injured 2 citizens, and they also detained 4 citizens (including a National Security Forces officer), and withdrew. 12/8/2022. the occupation forces positioned near the town of Aboud fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result killed a child:  Diaa Muhammad Shafiq Al-Rimawi, 17 years old – a resident of the town of Beit Rima, and injured 5 citizens (including one seriously injured), and he was subsequently transferred to one of the Israeli hospitals for treatment. 12/9/2022, the citizen: Nabil Shallah, 59, a resident of Al-Shujaia neighborhood in Gaza City, died of serious injuries he sustained in the recent Israeli war on the Gaza Strip in May 2021. 12/11/2022, the occupation forces raided the city of Jenin, clashed with the citizens, as they stormed a number of houses, and as a result killed a child while she was on the roof of her house, and injured 2 citizens, then detained 3 citizens (including 2 brothers). 12/17/2022, a settler (deliberately) while driving his vehicle on the main road, Nablus - Ramallah, near the Za'tara junction checkpoint, ran over and killed 2 citizens: Muhammad Yousef Matir, 37 years old, and his brother Muhannad, 18 years old - residents of Qalandia camp in Jerusalem governorate while they were repairing one of their vehicle's tires beside the road, which led to their death. The settler fled the scene. 12/20/2022, the prisoner: Nasser Abu Hamid, 50, a resident of Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh, was killed after he was transferred to Assaf Harofeh Hospital, as a result of a serious deterioration in his health as a result of the policy of deliberate medical negligence, which the occupation prison administration follows against sick prisoners in occupation prisons. 12/21/2022, the occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber coated metal bullets , stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, while they were accompanying a group of settlers to visit (Joseph's Tomb) during their raid into the city of Nablus and as a result killed a citizen  Ahmed Atef Mustafa Daraghmeh, 23 years old (a sports player in a football team) - a resident of the city of Tubas, injured 6 civilians were wounded (2 seriously injured), and left 19 other civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation. 12/23/2022: the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Osrin fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen, and left 17 other citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation and detained citizen. 12/23/2022: the occupation forces severely beat Yusef Musa Makhamreh, in the Al-Musafer area, east of the town of Yatta, while he was plowing his land, which was threatened with confiscation. As a result, he sustained a broken foot, and was subsequently admitted to the government hospital in the town of Yatta for treatment. 12/31/2022: the occupation forces severely beat the citizen, Samaher Ismail Hamid, a resident of the town of Silwad, during their raid into the village of Ain Yabroud, while she was trying to prevent the occupation soldiers from attacking a citizen, which resulted in her fractures and bruises, and she was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

Attacks	252	111	363	A total of  347 attacks were reported to have taken place during the month of December 2022 (252  in the West Bank and 111 in the Gaza Strip) which included  63 from raids into Palestinian towns, villages and camps, 189 from positions at Military checkpoints,81  from positions at Military posts , 25 from Naval vessels and 5 from Air Strikes.

The majority of Israeli military raids were reported to have taken place in the districts of Jerusalem (20); Ramallah (64); Jenin (116); Tubas (7), Tulkarem (23); Qalqiliya (48); Nablus (92); Salfit (33); Jericho (12); Bethlehem (44); Hebron (78), North Gaza (1) , Gaza (4) Central Gaza (1) and Rafah (1).
Deportation	11		11	The Israeli occupation forces deported 11 Palestinian in December 2022: including: 12/01/2022: the occupation authorities issued a decision to deport the Jerusalemite human rights citizen and administrative detainee: Salah Al-Hamouri - residents of the city of Jerusalem, to France, whose nationality he holds, and to withdraw his Jerusalem identity. 12/02/2022: the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the two sisters: Hira and Maher Maher Al-Sous, for a week from Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for their release, after they had arrested them earlier. 12/02/2022: the occupation forces detained 3 citizens in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem: Ahmed Nasser Saeed, Kamel Hazem Muhammad, and Rafiq Mahmoud Saeeda. 12/11/2022: the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Qusai Ahmed Dari - residents of the village of Al-Issawi, for a period of 3 months from his place of residence in the village, as a condition for his release after detaining him earlier. 12/12/2022:  the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Muhammad Abu Al-Hummus, for a period of two weeks, from the Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem, as a condition for his release, after he had detained him earlier. 12/15/2022:  the occupation authorities in Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Hanadi Al-Halawani - residents of Jerusalem, for a period of 6 months from Al-Aqsa Mosque. 12/18/2022: the occupation authorities announced that they had deported and deported the prisoner: the lawyer - Salah Al-Hamwi - a resident of the city of Jerusalem and also holds French citizenship, to France, after his administrative detention continued for 9 months. 12/21/2022, the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Mahmoud Abu Kharoub (one of the guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque), for a week from his workplace in Al-Aqsa Mosque, as a condition for his release after he had arrested him earlier. 12/23/2022, the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to deport 2 citizens - residents of the city of Jerusalem, for a period of 14 days from the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque, namely: Firas Al-Atrash and Muhammad Abu Sneina.
Arrests	551	4	555	During the month of December 2022, the Israeli military arrested 555 Palestinians {551 in the West Bank and 4 in the Gaza Strip). The majority of arrests took place in the districts: 101 Jerusalem, 93 Ramallah, 45 Jenin, 9 Tubas, 16 Tulkarm, 21 Qalqiliya, 54 Nablus, 16 Salfit, 17 Jericho, 54 Bethlehem, 125 Hebron and 4 North Gaza. Including:  31 Children, 6 Women,1 Paramedic, 1 Journalist and 7 Security Force Officer.
Closure of Crossing Points	-	149	149	The Israeli military completely closed crossing points into the Gaza Strip, including access points within the Green Line, on 149 occasions during the month of December 2022. Border Crossings closed: 108 Crossing Points:41
Flying Checkpoints	369	-	369	The Israeli military set up  Flying checkpoints 369 in the month of December 2022 and searched Palestinian civilians and vehicles in and around Palestinian residential areas in the districts of Jerusalem (10); Ramallah (159); Jenin (4), Tubas (2), Tulkarem (1),  Qalqiliya (53); Nablus (41); Salfit (24); Jericho (13); Bethlehem (21)and Hebron (41).

Land Confiscation	2	-	2	12/10/2022, the occupation forces issued a military order to confiscate an area of about 400 dunums of citizens' lands in the village of Jinsafut.  12/17/2022, the occupation forces issued a military order to confiscate (3492) dunums of land located in natural basin No. (13) from the site of Jabal Al-Qurain, and basin (14) natural from Jabal Al-Mistra, and the Talat Umrah site from Jabal Al-Qurain from lands Aqraba town, for settlement purposes, under the pretext that it is state land.
Home Demolition	13	-	13	The Israeli occupation forces demolished 13 homes during December 2022 including: 12/01/2022: the occupation forces demolished two houses belonging to the two brothers: Salah Zidan Zagharneh and Izz al-Din Zaidan Zagharneh, under the pretext of not having a permit. 12/13/2022: the occupation forces demolished 3 houses in the village of Al-Jiftlik, owned by the citizens: Hani Al-Atawneh, Salem Al-Atawneh, and Abdel-Rahman Sbaitan, under the pretext of not having a permit. 12/15/2022: the occupation forces demolished, in the Farsh Al-Hawa area, north of Hebron, a house (under construction) and a well for collecting water, owned by the citizen: Samer Abdel-Jawad Abu Aisha, under the pretext of not having a license. 12/19/2022: the occupation forces demolished, east of the city of Jericho, 2 houses (one of them under construction) owned by the two citizens: Amer Daoud Abd Qureshi (a house under construction), and Amjad Adel Idris, under the pretext that it was not licensed because it is located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control. 12/20/2022: the occupation forces demolished barracks and tents used for housing in the Wadi Jahish area, southeast of the town of Yatta, owned by the citizens: Khaled Hamid Al-Hadar and his brother Fadl. 12/20/2022: the occupation forces demolished, in the Tal Ma'in area, east of the town of Yatta, a residential room owned by the citizen: Ayed Ali Al Hamada, under the pretext of not having a license. 12/31/2022: the occupation authorities in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, forced the citizen: Mahmoud Al-Awar, to demolish his house himself, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carried out the demolition operation, under the pretext of not licensing. 12/31/2022: the occupation authorities in the Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem, forced the citizen: Mustafa Al-Aramin, to demolish his house (consisting of two floors), after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carried out the demolition process under the pretext of not being licensed.
Land Levelling	3		3	12/11/2022: the occupation forces leveled an area of agricultural land belonging to my families: Al-Mahariq and Abu Al-Kabbash, in the Wadadah area, south of the town of Al-Samou'. 12/12/2022: the occupation forces leveled, in the area between the town of Qusra and the village of Jureesh, an area of the citizens' agricultural lands. 12/25/2022:  the occupation forces positioned near the "Burkan" settlement, leveled an area of citizens' land planted with olive trees.
Assault on Education Sector	4		4	12/01/2022: the occupation forces raided a boys' school in the town of Tuqu', near the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu', surrounded it from all sides, stationed in its yards, and detained the school principal and its teaching staff. 12/05/2022: the occupation forces stormed the Yabroud Basic Mixed School, in an attempt to confiscate the surveillance camera recordings, but the teaching staff prevented this.  12/08/2022: the occupation forces stormed the Eastern Al-Laban Secondary School for Girls, and lowered the Palestinian flag from the roof of the school, and raised the Israeli flag in its place. 12/11/2022: the occupation forces stormed Jala School in the town of Beit Ummar, and confiscated the surveillance camera recordings.
Attacks on Religious Sites	23	-	23	Under the protection of the occupation forces, settlers continue to storm the courtyards of the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque, performing Talmudic prayers and provoking the worshipers. 12/27/2022: Groups of extremist settlers, led by extremist Israeli Knesset member "Yehuda Glick", and under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.   12/05/ 2022:  the occupation forces demolished a 100-square-meter mosque in Khallet Taha in the town of Tarqumiya, under the pretext of not having a license.
Settlement Activity	1	-	1	12/05/2022: the occupation forces began expanding the "Karmi Tzur" settlement, which was established on the citizens' lands belonging to the towns of Beit Ummar and Halhul, by building 20 new settlement housing units on the citizens' lands in the Shaab Abu Yusuf area of the town of Halhul, owned by citizens of the family: Zamara.

Arrests

During the month of December 2022, the Israeli military arrested 555 Palestinians {551 in the West Bank and 4 in the Gaza Strip). Especially on Fridays, the Israeli military continues to intensify restrictions at checkpoints located at the entrances of Jerusalem, and to restrict entrance to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from accessing the Mosque. At the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, the Israeli military continues to prevent PNA registered civilian vehicles from crossing the checkpoint towards Ar Ram and Qalandiya as well as Dahiyat al Bareed. The checkpoint is overcrowded daily, particularly during rush hours, due to intensified restrictions and search measures applied by Israeli troops. During the month of December 2022, the Israeli military also continued to intensify restrictions at the Tayasir checkpoint and Al Hamra junction checkpoint leading to the Jordan Valley area, only allowing access to civilians whose IDs indicate District of Jericho residence or others holding special access permits. In addition, restrictions were intensified and civilian access was obstructed at the Za’tara junction checkpoint (separating the northern and central West Bank districts) as well as at the As Sawahira ash Sharqiya (the ‘Container’) checkpoint (separating the central and southern West Bank districts).

The Israeli military installed 369 checkpoints in December 2022 (Compared with 386 checkpoints in November 2022 and 355 checkpoints in October 2022) as a result restricted the free access and movement of residents, merchant supplies and agricultural goods.

The Israeli military set up  Flying checkpoints 369 in the month of December 2022 and searched Palestinian civilians and vehicles in and around Palestinian residential areas in the districts of Jerusalem (10); Ramallah (159); Jenin (4), Tubas (2), Tulkarem (1),  Qalqiliya (53); Nablus (41); Salfit (24); Jericho (13); Bethlehem (21)and Hebron (41).

The Israeli military carried out a total of 544 raids in Palestinian residential areas during the month of  December 2022, including 537 in the West Bank and 7 in the Gaza Strip. The majority of Israeli military raids were reported to have taken place in the districts of Jerusalem (20); Ramallah (64); Jenin (116); Tubas (7), Tulkarem (23); Qalqiliya (48); Nablus (92); Salfit (33); Jericho (12); Bethlehem (44); Hebron (78), North Gaza (1) , Gaza (4) Central Gaza (1) and Rafah (1).

A total of  347 attacks were reported to have taken place during the month of December 2022 (252  in the West Bank and 111 in the Gaza Strip) which included  63 from raids into Palestinian towns, villages and camps, 189 from positions at Military checkpoints,81  from positions at Military posts , 25 from Naval vessels and 5 from Air Strikes.

 

Attacks on residential areas in West Bank and Gaza districts

 

The Israeli occupation forces demolished 13 homes during December 2022 including:

• 12/01/2022: the occupation forces demolished two houses belonging to the two brothers: Salah Zidan Zagharneh and Izz al-Din Zaidan Zagharneh, under the pretext of not having a permit.
• 12/13/2022: the occupation forces demolished 3 houses in the village of Al-Jiftlik, owned by the citizens: Hani Al-Atawneh, Salem Al-Atawneh, and Abdel-Rahman Sbaitan, under the pretext of not having a permit.
• 12/15/2022: the occupation forces demolished, in the Farsh Al-Hawa area, north of Hebron, a house (under construction) and a well for collecting water, owned by the citizen: Samer Abdel-Jawad Abu Aisha, under the pretext of not having a license.
• 12/19/2022: the occupation forces demolished, east of the city of Jericho, 2 houses (one of them under construction) owned by the two citizens: Amer Daoud Abd Qureshi (a house under construction), and Amjad Adel Idris, under the pretext that it was not licensed because it is located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.
• 12/20/2022: the occupation forces demolished barracks and tents used for housing in the Wadi Jahish area, southeast of the town of Yatta, owned by the citizens: Khaled Hamid Al-Hadar and his brother Fadl.
• 12/20/2022: the occupation forces demolished, in the Tal Ma'in area, east of the town of Yatta, a residential room owned by the citizen: Ayed Ali Al Hamada, under the pretext of not having a license.
• 12/31/2022: the occupation authorities in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, forced the citizen: Mahmoud Al-Awar, to demolish his house himself, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carried out the demolition operation, under the pretext of not licensing.
• 12/31/2022: the occupation authorities in the Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem, forced the citizen: Mustafa Al-Aramin, to demolish his house (consisting of two floors), after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carried out the demolition process under the pretext of not being licensed.

• 12/01/2022: The occupation forces demolished two commercial establishments in the village of Qalandia, owned by the two citizens: Muhammad Tayseer Nafeh and Samer Abu Zina, under the pretext of not having a license.
• 12/02/2022: the occupation authorities demolished the ancient walls of the ancient Petra Hotel in the Bab Al-Khalil area in Jerusalem.
• 12/12/2022: the occupation authorities in the village of Al-Issawiya forced the citizen: Tha'er Obaid to demolish the foundations of his house himself, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carried out the demolition operation, under the pretext of not licensing.

• 12/08/2022:  the occupation forces demolished a storage den owned by the two citizens: Faris Ahmed Mahini, and his brother Moayad near the Al-Taybeh town junction (on the Al-Maarajat road connecting the governorates of Ramallah and Jericho).
• 12/11/2022: the occupation forces bulldozed a newly paved road 100 meters long in the Wadi Jarrar area in the town of Sinjil and dug a trench two meters deep, under the pretext of not having a license and being located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control

 

• 12/14/2022: the occupation forces demolished a store of sugar and destroyed a refrigerator for preserving meat, owned by the citizen: Majdi Marouh Kamel Zaid, in the village of Umm Al-Rehan.

 

• 12/22/2022:   the occupation forces demolished a vehicle maintenance shop owned by the citizen: Ghaleb Ghanem - residents of the village of Sebastia, along the main street near the village of Deir Sharaf under the pretext of not being licensed, and a 500-meter paved road leading to the residents' homes west of the village.

• 12/21/2022:  the occupation forces demolished and confiscated an agricultural greenhouse near the eastern entrance to the village of Jinsafut, owned by the citizen: Mufid Muhammad Bashir, and also demolished and confiscated (bricks) owned by the citizen: Muhammad Yusef Sukkar, under the pretext of not being licensed.

• 12/21/2022:  the occupation forces cut down dozens of forest trees planted in Wadi Qana - the road connecting the towns of Deir Istiya and the village of Haris, on an area of about 2 dunums.

• 12/06/2022:  the occupation forces demolished two agricultural rooms in the Za'nouna and Qarnet Al-Da'mis areas of the town of Nahalin owned by the citizen: Maher Hussein Yassin Abu Ghayada, under the pretext of not having a license.
• 12/07/2022:  the occupation forces leveled agricultural lands and retaining walls, with an estimated area of 4 dunums, owned by the citizen: Nasser Shehadeh, in the Ain Al-Jawiza area in the village of Al-Walaja.
•  12/14/2022:   the occupation forces demolished an agricultural room owned by the citizen: Khalil Attia Shusha in the Ain Al-Balad area in the village of Husan, under the pretext of not having a license.
• 12/21/2022:  the occupation forces uprooted 30 olive seedlings, owned by the citizen: Ahmed Mustafa Awaina, in the Al-Khammar area in the village of Battir, and demolished an agricultural room owned by the citizen: Hussein Khalil Al-Qaisi, under the pretext of not being licensed.
• 12/21/2022:  the occupation forces uprooted hundreds of almond and olive trees in the Al-Khallah area, north of the village of Wadi Fukin, demolished stone chains and a rainwater collection pond, and swept 28 dunums of agricultural land owned by the citizen: Juma Assaf.
• 12/26/2022:   the occupation forces demolished the roof of an old house built more than 70 years ago, located in the Shushahla area, west of the town of Al-Khader owned by the citizen: Daoud Marzouq Salah.

 

• 12/05/2022: the occupation forces demolished, two agricultural rooms, in the Wadi Al-Safar area, west of the town of Ithna owned by the two citizens: Sa'ed Abdel Moneim Tamizi, and Atallah Izzat Tamizi, under the pretext that they were close to the apartheid wall.
• 12/05/2022: the occupation forces demolished a barracks for sheep farming, in the Shaab Al-Bir area, northwest of the town of Tarqumiya owned by the citizen: Ghassan Tanina, under the pretext of not being licensed.

Ramallah:

• 12/03/2022:  a group of settlers entered the citizens' agricultural lands in the Al-Rafid area of the town of Sinjil, expelled the farmers and prevented them from working on their land, and as a result, the occupation forces intervened and evacuated the settlers from the place.

Tulkarm:

• 12/25/2022:  a group of settlers entered the citizens' agricultural lands located near the "Avni Hefetz" settlement, which belongs to the village of Ezbet Shufa, and destroyed and vandalized the contents of an agricultural warehouse owned by the citizen: Tahseen Hamed.

• 12/05/2022:   a group of settlers positioned near the village of Osrin severely beat 2 citizens and as a result left the hospitalized with contusions at the government hospital in Nablus for treatment.
• 12/07/2022:   a group of settlers positioned near the town of Hawara threw stones at the citizens' vehicles, which resulted in material damage to two vehicles owned by the citizens: Mamoun Kalash and Abdel-Malik Samoudi.

• 12/14/2022: a group of settlers entered the outskirts of the village of Urif, and threw stones towards the Urif Secondary School for Boys, which caused material damage to the solar cells intended for electric power.
• 12/16/2022:  a group of settlers positioned near the roundabout of "Yitzhar" settlement threw stones at vehicles passing by.
• 12/16/2022: a group of settlers was present on the outskirts of the village of Madama, and threw stones at the homes and vehicles of the citizens, and caused material damage to two vehicles and smashed the windows of their homes, owned by the two brothers: Hatem and Mashhour Muhammad al-Qat, and the occupation forces also intervened and fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets towards the citizens, while they were trying to confront the settlers, which resulted in the injury of a citizen, and he was admitted to the government hospital in Nablus for treatment.
•  12/25/2022:  a settler, while driving his vehicle on the main street in the town of Hawara, ran over the citizen: Saleh Mahmoud Barham Abu Shehadeh, as a result of which he suffered a broken foot.
• 12/25/2022:  a group of settlers positioned near the junction of the village of Deir Sharaf, the stones, towards the vehicles of the citizens passing by.

• 12/25/2022:  a group of settlers near the bridge of Madama village attacked a concrete factory, and the occupation forces intervened and evacuated the settlers from the place.
• 12/26/2022:  a group of settlers entered the eastern outskirts of the village of Orif, and set fire to the vehicle of the citizen: Mahfouz Jamil Shehadeh, and the windows of the house of the citizen: Mahmoud Mahfouz Jamil Shehadeh.
• 12/29/2022:  a group of settlers was on the bypass road passing by the "Yitshar" settlement, and threw stones at citizens' vehicles.
• 12/29/2022:  a group of settlers were present in the vicinity of the Hawara checkpoint, and assaulted and sprayed pepper gas on the face of the citizen: Naim Hamed Hassoun - residents of the town of Beit Ummar, while he was driving his vehicle.
• 12/29/2022:  a group of settlers were near the roundabout of the "Yitzhar" settlement, north of the town of Hawara, and threw stones at the vehicles of the citizens passing by, causing material damage to a number of them.

Qalqiliya:

• 12/02/2022: a settler, while driving his vehicle on the main street near the town of Azzun, opened fire indiscriminately at citizens, under the pretext of throwing a Molotov cocktail at settlers' vehicles.
• 12/02/2022: a group of settlers were present on Wadi Qana Road, which connects the governorates of Qalqilya and Salfit, and threw stones at the vehicles of citizens passing by, which led to smashing the windows of a private vehicle owned by the citizen: Muhammad Majed Aref - residents of the village of Hajjah.
• 12/08/2022: a group of settlers was present at the roundabout of the "Kedumim" settlement, and threw stones at the vehicles of the citizens passing by.

• 12/03/2022:   a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Khallet Al-Zafaran area of the town of Bruqin, and cut down and uprooted about 50 olive saplings, owned by the citizen: Muhammad Fawaz Ibrahim.
• 12/04/2022:  a group of settlers were present at the entrance to the village of Yasuf, and threw stones at the vehicles of the citizens passing by.
• 12/05/2022:  a group of settlers stormed the citizens' agricultural lands in the Umm Al-Mawaker area, northeast of the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, and cut down and uprooted about 30 olive saplings, owned by the citizen: Muhammad Marei.
• 12/08/2022:  a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Khallet Mualla area of the village of Haris, and uprooted and cut down about 15 olive trees belonging to the citizen: Khaled Akl.
• 12/09/2022:  a group of settlers entered the Khallet Hassan area of the town of Bidya, and beat 4 citizens (he knew of them): Shafi Muhammad Shafi Bazian - residents of the city of Qalqilya.
• 12/12/2022:  a group of settlers entered the lands of the citizens in the town of Kafr Al-Dik, and attacked 2 citizens: Firas Al-Dik and Youssef Qasoul, while they were grazing sheep, and expelled them from the place.
• 12/16/2022:   a group of settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, were present in the area between the towns of Qarawat Bani Hassan and Bruqin, and prevented the citizen: Shehadeh Muhammad Awad Shehadeh from planting his land with olive trees, and forced him to leave his land.
• 12/16/2022:  a group of settlers in the Al-Ras area, east of the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, uprooted 20 newly planted olive saplings, owned by the citizen: Ahmed Amin Mari.
• 12/17/2022:  a group of settlers, near the well area in the village of Haris, beat 2 citizens - residents of the town of Kafil Haris while they were working on their land: Youssef Salem Abu Yaqoub and Fawaz Odeh.
• 12/20/2022:   one of the guards of "Ariel" colony sprayed pepper gas in the face of the citizen: Saddam Mahmoud Jabr Shuqair, as a result of which he suffocated, and was subsequently admitted to the government hospital in Salfit for treatment.

Jericho:

• 12/03/2022:  a settler, while driving his vehicle on Route 90 in Jericho Governorate, ran over Youssef Muhammad Dahni - a resident of Aqabat Jabr camp in Jericho, injuring him - with injuries and bruises, and he was subsequently admitted to the hospital for treatment.
• 12/23/2022:   a number of armed settlers grazed their sheep on pastoral lands near the citizens' homes in the Arab Al-Malehat area, west of Jericho.

 

Bethlehem:

• 12/04/2022: a settler, while driving his vehicle in the Khirbet Al-Deir area in the town of Tuqu', fired randomly at school students as they were leaving their schools, under the pretext that he had been thrown with stones.
• 12/10/2022: a group of settlers from the "Abi Nahal" settlement outpost, established on the lands of the village of Kisan, south of the town of Tuqu', attacked a number of citizens while they were grazing sheep in the pastoral lands, and expelled them from the place.
• 12/15/2022: a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Khallet Al-Nahla area near the village of Wadi Rahal, and severely beat the citizen: Muhammad Yahya Ayesh, 70, while he was on his land, which resulted in bruises, and he was subsequently admitted to the hospital for treatment.
• 12/21/2022: a group of settlers set up tents in the Wadi al-Muqibara area in the wilderness of the village of al-Rashaida, east of Bethlehem governorate.

Hebron:

• 12/01/2022: a group of settlers, on Al-Shalala Street in the Old City of Hebron, severely beat the child: Wadih Sidr, 17 years old, with iron rods, as a result of which he was wounded and bruised, and he was subsequently admitted to the hospital for treatment.
• 12/01/2022: a group of settlers in the Khashm al-Daraj area, east of Yatta, beat a number of citizens.
• 12/02/2022: a group of settlers in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the Old City of Hebron assaulted a number of citizens, wounding 2 of them - with bruises, namely: Yasser Abu Markhiya and Imad Abu Shamsiyya.
• 12/03/2022: a group of settlers near the village of Susiya, east of the town of Yatta, assaulted a number of citizens while they were cultivating their land.
• 12/06/2022: a group of settlers was present on the bypass road near the village of Khallet Al-Miya, east of the town of Yatta, and threw stones at citizens' vehicles, which led to the injury of a number of them.
• 12/08/2022: a group of settlers in Al-Taybeh area in the town of Tarqumiya attacked citizens living in the area.
• 12/08/2022: a group of settlers in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the Old City of Hebron attacked a supermarket owned by the citizen: Hamdi Yahya Idais (with special needs).
• 12/09/2022: a group of settlers stormed the village of Deir Al-Assal Al-Fawqa, conducted provocative tours in the village streets, and withdrew
• 12/10/2022: a group of settlers in the Sha'ab Al-Batem area, east of the town of Yatta, attacked members of the family of: Alyan Awad, and tried to prevent them from reaching their land.
• 12/10/2022: a group of settlers in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the Old City of Hebron attacked the homes of a number of citizens.
• 12/11/2022: a group of settlers in Al-Taybeh area in the town of Tarqumiya attacked citizens living in the area.
• 12/12/2022: a group of settlers placed mobile homes, "caravans", on the citizens' agricultural lands, east of the town of Sa'ir.
• 12/14/2022: a group of settlers on Al-Shuhada Street in the Old City of Hebron demolished the metal roof of the Al-Ja'bari gas station - closed since 1994.
• 12/16/2022: a group of settlers from the "Adora" settlement, established on the lands of the town of Doura, built a dirt road leading to the Ain Fara'a Spring area, in an attempt to seize it for the benefit of the colony.
• 12/21/2022:  a group of settlers on the top of Umm Al-Tala'a Mountain, near the village of Zenuta, south of the town of Al-Dhahiriya, set up a "candlestick" and extended an electric line to light it.
• 12/24/2022: a group of settlers in the Samra area, east of the town of Yatta, assaulted the children of the citizen: Abd Awad, while they were on their land.
• 12/28/2022:  a group of settlers in the Al-Musafer area, east of the town of Yatta, assaulted a number of farmers from the Abu Qabita family and prevented them from cultivating their land, and destroyed the seeds intended for cultivation.

Border crossings with Israel: were closed  108 times (Beit Hanoun - Erez crossing was open 26 times with the exception of humanitarian cases, the Shejaiya crossing - Nahal Oz was completely and unilaterally closed by the Israeli side on 01/04/2010, as well as the Muntar-Karni crossing was closed unilaterally from Before the Israeli side, on 02/03/2011, the Kerem Shalom-Kerem Shalom crossing opened for 21 days for the entry of food, humanitarian aid, fodder and a quantity of cooking gas, cement and iron for the benefit of UNRWA projects and internationally funded projects, while the Sufa crossing was closed throughout the month.

International outlets: 41 outlets were closed (The return port - Rafah, with the Arab Republic of Egypt was open for 21 days during the month of December 2022. Yasser International Airport is still destroyed and disrupted for several years Arafat)
