The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 March 2023 to 31 March 2023. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only. 

 

Sample of Israeli Violations during the Month of  March 2023

On March 1 2023, during the storming of Aqbat Jaber camp in the city of Jericho, the occupation forces fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones while they were besieging and raiding a number of houses, which led to the death of the citizen Mahmoud Jamal Hassan Hamdan, 22 years old. , and 2 civilians (one of them a child) were wounded. On March 2 2023, the occupation forces fired live and metal bullets, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas, near the entrance to the town of Azzun, at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, which led to the death of the 15-year-old child, Muhammad Nidal Salim. and wounded 2 others (one of them seriously). On March 7 2023, during the storming of the city of Jenin and its camp, and the town of Burqin, the occupying forces fired live and metal bullets coated with rubber, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens while they were raiding a number of houses. Their vehicle was bombed after being searched. On March 9 2023,, the occupation forces, in the Old City of Hebron, beat and insulted 2 children (brothers): Muhammad Al-Rajabi, 6 years old, and Qais Al-Rajabi, 8 years old. On March 10 2023, the occupying forces, stationed in the vicinity of the "Eyal" checkpoint, north of the city of Qalqilya, fired live and metal bullets coated with rubber, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, which led to the death of the 16-year-old Amir Mamoun Muhammad Odeh. On March 10 2023, a settler, near the "Ma'ali Shomron" settlement, opened fire at the citizen Abdel Karim Badie Abdel Karim Al-Sheikh, 21 years old, resident of the village of Siniriya, which led to his death. Twenty-three civilians were wounded (5 of them seriously). On March 17 2023, the occupation forces, stationed in the vicinity of the "Al-Mahkama" checkpoint, located near the "Beit El" settlement, north of Al-Bireh, opened fire at the citizen Yazan Omar Jamil Khasib, 23 years old, resident of Tulkarm. On the morning of 3/29/2023, the citizen: Amir Muhammad Ghaleb Loulah, 23 years old - resident of the village of Zawata, died of his serious wounds that he sustained during the occupation forces storming the city of Nablus on 02/22/2023. On the evening of 31/3/2023, the occupying forces opened fire at Al-Silsilah Gate (one of the doors leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem, towards the doctor: Muhammad Khaled Al-Osaibi, 26 years old - residents of the village of Hura in the Negev, inside the Green Line, while he was trying to defend a girl. On March 20 2023, the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem, based on a decision by the extremist Israeli security minister, "Itamar Ben Gvir," closed the office of the company that provides media and production services to the official Palestinian media, and also summoned the staff working in it for investigation, who are: Journalist - Layali Eid, Journalist - Lana Kamela, Firas Hindawi, Yazan Haddad, and Walid Qamar.

• On the afternoon of 06.03.2023, the occupying forces closed the entrance to a house using "oxygen" welders, owned by the Al-Bayed family, on Al-Shuhada Street in the Old City of Hebron, after the owner of the house left to buy some needs for her family, and kept her two children inside the house (one of whom is two years old) and a half, and the other 12 years old), and during her return, the owner of the house saw what happened and started shouting at the soldiers to open the door, especially since her two children were still inside the house, and after half an hour had passed, the people opened the door of the house
