The following summary tables and overview of events survey hostile Israeli activities during the period 01 April 2022 to 30 April 2022. The report includes a summary table of events, classified by type, throughout the West Bank and Gaza Strip, in addition to a comparative table surveying events over the past three months. The survey is compiled from the Daily Situation Reports of the Palestinian Monitoring Group (PMG) of the Negotiations Affairs Department (NAD) of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The PMG monitors ground conditions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Israeli and Palestinian violations. The information reported through the PMG process represents data available at the time of distribution only.

Killings
A total of 21 residents was killed by Israeli forces during the month of April 2022 {21 in the West Bank and 0 in Gaza}:
- 04/01/2022: The civilian: Nidal Juma' Abdullah Jaafara, 30 years old - a resident of Tarqumiya town, Hebron governorate was killed by Israeli occupation forces after they opened fire towards him near the junction of the settlement of "Etzion".
- 04/02/2022: The 3 civilians who were assassinated by the Israeli occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Arrabeh are: Khalil Muhammad Talib Tawalbeh, 24 years old, from Jenin refugee camp, Saeb Taysir Abahra, 30 years old, from al-Yamoun town, and Saif Hefzy Muhammad Abu Libdeh, 25 years old, from Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm.
- 04/02/2022: The 2 civilians killed by Israeli occupation forces in the city of Jenin and its camp are: Sanad Muhammad Khalil Abu Attia, 17 years old - a resident of Jenin refugee camp, and Yazid Nidal Saad Al-Din Al-Saadi, 27 years old - a resident of Jenin.
- 04/09/2022: The civilian: Ahmed Nasser Al-Saadi, 21 years old was killed during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin camp.
- 04/10/2022: The child: Muhammad Hussein Zakarneh, 17 years old was killed as he was seriously injured after Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards him during their raid into Jenin.
- 04/10/2022: The civilian: Muhammad Ali Ahmed Ghoneim, 21 years old - a resident of the town of Al-Khader was killed after Israeli occupation forces opened fire him near Jabal Abu Sud area in the town of Al-Khader.
- 04/10/2022: The civilian: Ghada Ibrahim Ali Sabateen, 45 years old - a resident of Husan village was killed after Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards her near the entrance to the village of Husan.
- 04/10/2022: The civilian: Maha Kazem Awad Al-Za’tari, 24 years old (suffering from psychological disorders) - a resident of Hebron city as a result of being shot by the occupation forces near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the old city of Hebron.
- 04/13/2022: The civilian: Muhammad Hassan Muhammad Assaf, 34 years old - a resident of Kafr Laqif village, Qalqilya governorate was killed during clashes with Israeli occupation forces during their raid into the city of Nablus.
- 04/13/2022: The child: Qusay Fouad Hamamra, 14 years old was killed during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in Al Muteena positioned near the entrance to the village of Husan.
- 04/13/2022: The 2 civilians: Shas Fouad Kammji, 30 years old - residents of Kafr Dan village, and Mustafa Faisal Abu Al-Rub - residents of Musliya village were killed during confrontations with the occupation forces in the village of Kafr Dan.
- 04/14/2022: the citizen: Fawaz Ahmed Saleh Hamayel, 45 years old - a resident of the town of Beita, died of serious wounds he sustained near a place of residence during confrontations with the occupation forces on 04/13/ 2022.
- 04/14/2022: The civilian: Omar Muhammad Alyan, 20 years old was killed during clashes with Israeli occupation forces during their raid into Silwad town.
- 04/15/2022: The child: Shawkat Kamal Abed 17 years old - resident of Kafr Dan village, died of serious wounds he sustained during confrontations with the occupation forces in Kafr Dan village (as mentioned in the previous report).
- 04/18/2022: The high school student: Hanan Mahmoud Abbas Khaddour, 18 years old - resident of Faqqu’a village, died of serious injuries sustained after she was hit by a Israeli military vehicle while she was on her way to Al-Khansa School in Jenin, during the Israeli occupation forces raid into the city of Jenin and its camp (as mentioned in the report on 04/10/ 2022).
- 04/22/2022: the citizen: Lotfi Ibrahim Labadi, 20 years old - a resident of Al-Yamoun town, succumbed to a serious wound he had sustained during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Al-Yamoun (as mentioned in a report on 04/18/ 2022).
- 04/26/2022: The civilian: Ahmed Ibrahim Oweidat, 20 years old was killed after Israeli occupation forces opened fire towards him during clashes in Aqabat Jabr camp in the city of Jericho.
Injuries
A total of 577 injuries were reported in the month of April 2022 { 576 Palestinians in the West Bank and 1 in the Gaza Strip).
Including several children, several Journalists and medics and 2 Senior citizens.
Arrests
During the month of April 2022, the Israeli military arrested 907 Palestinians { 904 in the West Bank and 3 in the Gaza Strip). The majority of arrests took place in the districts :508 Jerusalem,71 Ramallah, 74 Jenin, 8 Tubas, 23 Tulkarm,20 Qalqilya, 64 Nablus, 12 Salfit, 8 Jericho, 49 Bethlehem, 65 Hebron, 1 North Gaza and 2 Rafah.
Among them: 23 Children, 3 female citizens, 3 Journalists, 1 special needs pataint, 1 University Student and 3 Security Force Officer.

Closure
Especially on Fridays, the Israeli military continues to intensify restrictions at checkpoints located at the entrances of Jerusalem, and to restrict entrance to the Al Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from accessing the Mosque. At the Qalandiya checkpoint north of Jerusalem, the Israeli military continues to prevent PNA registered civilian vehicles from crossing the checkpoint towards Ar Ram and Qalandiya as well as Dahiyat al Bareed. The checkpoint is overcrowded daily, particularly during rush hours, due to intensified restrictions and search measures applied by Israeli troops. During the month of April 2022 ,the Israeli military also continued to intensify restrictions at the Tayasir checkpoint and Al Hamra junction checkpoint leading to the Jordan Valley area, only allowing access to civilians whose IDs indicate District of Jericho residence or others holding special access permits. In addition, restrictions were intensified and civilian access was obstructed at the Za’tara junction checkpoint (separating the northern and central West Bank districts) as well as at the As Sawahira ash Sharqiya (the ‘Container’) checkpoint (separating the central and southern West Bank districts).
The Israeli military installed 285 checkpoints in April 2022 (Compared with 246 flying checkpoints in March 2022 and 227 flying checkpoints in February 2022 and as a result restricted the free access and movement of residents, merchant supplies and agricultural goods.

The Israeli military set up 285 Flying checkpoints in the month of April 2022 and searched Palestinian civilians and vehicles in and around Palestinian residential areas in the districts of Jerusalem (7); Ramallah (31); Jenin (9);Tubas (2); Tulkarem (7), Qalqiliya (49); Nablus (17); Salfit (29); Jericho (12); Bethlehem (99)and Hebron (23).
Raids
The Israeli military carried out a total of 454 raids in Palestinian residential areas during the month of April 2022, including 453 in the West Bank and 1 in the Gaza Strip. The majority of Israeli military raids were reported to have taken place in the districts of Jerusalem (11); Ramallah (73); Jenin (84); Tubas (4)Tulkarem (87); Qalqiliya (24); Nablus (47); Salfit (27); Jericho (5); Bethlehem (53); Hebron (38 and North Gaza (1).

Home Demolition
The Israeli occupation forces demolished 2 home during April 2022 including:
- 04/12/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a tent used for housing, in addition to dismantling an agricultural barracks in the Ain Samiya area, east of the village of Kafr Malik and confiscating its equipment, owned by the citizen: Farouk Al-Hajj.
- 04/27/2022: The Israeli occupation forces demolished a house (under construction) near the village of Marah Maalla under the pretext of not having a permit.
Home Seizure
The Israeli occupation forces seized 2 Palestinian homes during the month of April 2022:
- 04/13/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces occupied the home of the citizen: Samir Nassar Za’oul, in the Muteena area, near the entrance to the village of Husan after confining its residents in one room, and turning it into a military post, to monitor the movements of citizens.
- 04/30/2022: the Israeli occupation forces occupied the roof of a house (under construction), in the area between Qabatiya town and Musliya village, and turned it into a military post.

Jerusalem:
- 04/04/2022: The Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem renewed the closure of 28 active Palestinian institutions, associations and organizations in the city of Jerusalem, including (Orient House and Prisoner Club).
Ramallah & Al-Bireh:
- 04/12/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by: Ali Muhammad Humaidan, and a truck owned by: Riyad Abu Sukkar in the town of Turmusaya.
- 04/28/2022: The Israeli occupation forces in the village of Al-Mughayer handed the citizen: Kazem Al-Hajj Muhammad a notice to vacate his land within a period of 27 hours.
Qalqiliya:
- 04/13/2022: The Israeli occupation forces fired stun canisters during their raid into the city of Qalqilya and as a result set fire to a private vehicle owned by the citizen: Nader Shehadeh Ahmed Shaheen.
- 04/17/2022: The Israeli occupation forces positioned in Al-Wad area in the town of Habla, vandalized an agricultural room (under construction), owned by: Anwar Al-Shanti.
Hebron:
- 04/13/2022: The Israeli occupation forces prevented the farmers from accessing their agricultural lands in the town of Beit Ummar, which is located near the “Karmei Tzur” settlement, and prevented them from working and cultivating it.

Ramallah &Al-Bireh:
- 04/10/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by: Ali Muhammad Humaidan, and a truck owned by: Riyad Abu Sukkar in the town of Turmusaya.
Tubas:
- 04/17/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer belonging to the “Brother” Contracting Company in the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley, while it was working to extend a sewage line in the village.
Tulkarem:
- 04/28/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer in Kafr al-Labad, owned by: Muhammad al-Ajri, a resident of Tulkarm, while he was working on a plot of land in the town.
Nablus:
- 04/06/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated two bulldozers owned by Assad Muneer Awad {a resident of Jama'in town in Nablus governorate} after they stormed a stone mill in Immatin village.
- 04/11/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated two vehicles owned by citizens: Fadel Al-Kurdi and Ziyad Ahmed Amer during their raid into Kafr Qelil village.
- 04/20/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated two computers belonging to the citizen: Amer Abdel Latif Nassar during their raid into Madama village.
- 04/26/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a concrete pump truck in the village of Rojib belonging to the "Gerzim" company, while it was working in a house (under construction) owned by Rami Fathi Dwaikat.
- 04/30/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer while it was working in the area between the city of Nablus and the northern town of Asira.
Salfit:
- 04/17/2022: The Israeli occupation forces in Deir Istiya confiscated a bulldozer (Bajr), owned by: Allan Ibrahim, while he was working next to a residential building owned by: Amin Al-Sheikh Abdullah.
- 04/30/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a private vehicle owned by one of the detainees during their raid into Qarawat Bani Hassan.
Jericho:
- 04/06/2022: The Israeli occupation forces positioned in the town of Al-Auj confiscated a crane owned by: Salim Musa - residents of Arrabeh town, Jenin governorate, under the pretext of working in the classified area (C) under Israeli control
- 04/18/2022: The Israeli occupation forces confiscated a special vehicle for transporting Al-Fakhit School teachers, located southeast of Yatta in the Masafer Yatta area.
North Gaza:
- 04/27/2022: Israeli gunboats confiscated a fishing boat after detaining 2 of the fishermen (a citizen and his son) on board at sea off the shore of Gaza City.
Rafah:
- On 04/08/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated two fishing boats at sea off the shore of the city of Rafah, after besieging them and detaining 4 fishermen on board, and released them at a later time.
- On 04/08/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a fishing boat in the open sea off the shore of the city of Rafah, after besieging it and arresting 2 of the fishermen on board.
- On 04/26/ 2022, Israeli gunboats confiscated a fishing boat after detaining 3 fishermen on board at sea off the shore of Rafah.
- On 04/26/ 2022, Israeli gunboats confiscated two fishing boats after they detained 6 fishermen (including 3 children) from their board at sea off the shore of Rafah.
Settlement Activity:
- 04/18/2022: a group of Israeli settlers in the Ahmir area of Khirbet al-Farisiyah in the northern Jordan Valley, excavated and bulldozed, in preparation for the installation of mobile homes (caravans) in the area on which they established a settlement outpost about a year ago.
- 04/24/2022: a group of Israeli settlers stormed Ahmir area of Khirbet al-Farisiyah in the northern Jordan Valley, razed an area estimated at 10 dunums of land, in favor of expanding a settlement outpost that was established about a year ago.
- 04/28/2022: a group of Israeli settlers razed areas of agricultural lands near the main street of Nablus - Jenin, in Basin 4 of Sebastia village lands, and Basin 12 of Al-Naqoura village lands, with the aim of expanding Shafi Shamron settlement.
- 04/28/2022: The Israeli occupation forces razed the village of Jalud, with the aim of building a settlement bypass road in the agricultural lands of the citizens.

96 incidents of Settler violence occurred during the month of April 2022 including:
Jerusalem:
- 04/01/2022: a group of Israeli settlers, near a light rail station in the Shuafat neighbourhood in Jerusalem assaulted a citizen: as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.
- 04/07/2022: a group of Israelii settlers was present in the Al-Masara neighborhood in Jerusalem, against a number of workers.
- 04/17/2022: a group of Israeli settlers positioned in the French Hill area in Jerusalem attacked two citizens: Mutasim Owais and Rami Al-Ramouni.
- 04/20/2022: groups of extremist Israeli settlers staged a provocative march during which the flags of the occupying state were raised in the streets of Jerusalem.
- 04/20/2022: a group of Israeli settlers in Jerusalem attacked a number of citizens and sprayed them with pepper gas at one of the city's light rail stations.
- 04/20/2022: a group of Israeli settlers in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem sprayed pepper gas on the citizen: Muhammad Abu al-Hummus.
- 04/28/2022: a group of Israeli settlers, led by the extremist "Yitmar Ben Gvir", stormed the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, and provoked the citizens.
- 04/30/2022: a group of Israeli settlers near the French Hill in Jerusalem threw stones at a bus carrying worshipers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, injuring two worshipers.
Ramallah:
- 04/01/2022: a group of Israeli settlers stormed the agricultural lands of the citizens of Al Mazraa Al Gharbia town. The occupation forces also intervened, and detained 2 children, while they were trying to confront the settlers, and released them at a later time.
- 04/01/2022: a group of Israeli settlers threw stones at Palestinian vehicles passing on the main road, Ramallah - Nablus, causing material damage to the vehicle of: Adel Mahmoud Masalma - residents of Bethlehem.
- 04/02/2022: a group of Israeli settlers from the "Beit El" settlement threw stones at the vehicles of the citizens passing on the main road that passes next to the settlement and leads to Al-Jalazun refugee camp.
- 04/03/2022: a group of Israeli settlers was near the eastern entrance to the village of Al-Mughayer, and attacked the house of the citizen: Muhammad Hamed Abu Alia
- 04/03/2022: a group of Israeli settlers from “Beit El” settlement threw stones at the vehicles of the citizens passing on the main road that passes next to the settlement and leads to Al-Jalazun refugee camp.
- 04/04/2022: a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance to Al-Jalazun camp, and opened fire randomly at the civilian: Murad Abu Sharafa, as he was passing near the entrance to the camp.
- 04/06/2022: a group of Israeli settlers from the "Beit El" settlement threw stones at the vehicles of the citizens passing on the main road passing by the settlement and leading to Al-Jalazun refugee camp.
- 04/07/2022: a group of Israeli settlers from the settlement of “Beit El” threw stones at the vehicles of citizens passing on the main road that passes next to the settlement and leads to Al-Jalazun refugee camp.
- 04/07/2022: a group of Israeli settlers was present on the main road between the towns of Turmusaya and Singel, and threw stones at vehicles of citizens passing on the main road, Ramallah - Nablus.
- 04/08/2022: a group of Israeli settlers was in the Ein Ayoub area near Ras Karkar village, and threw stones at the vehicles of citizens passing by.
4. At 00:40, a group of Israeli settlers near the entrance to the town of Turmusaya opened fire at civilians, injuring 2 civilians, and they were taken to an Israeli hospital for treatment. - 04/08/2022: The Israeli occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been pelted with stones while on patrol during their raid into village of Al-Janiya.
- 04/08/2022: a group of Israeli settlers near the town of Singel opened fire at the house of the citizen: Adel Murad, where the townspeople managed to confront the settlers. The occupation forces also intervened and evacuated the settlers from the place.
- 04/08/2022: a group of Israeli settlers was present on the main street of Ramallah - Nablus, near the town of Silwad, and threw stones and empty bottles at the vehicles of citizens passing by, causing material damage to a number of vehicles (known by the owners). Citizen: Saif Adel Dhiab - residents of Kafr Ra'i town, Jenin governorate.
- 04/08/2022: a group of Israeli settlers was at the junction of the Ain Samiya area, east of Kafr Malik village, and threw stones at vehicles of citizens passing by.
- 04/10/2022: a group of Israeli settlers was near the traffic lights near the outpost of "Givat Assaf", which is located east of Beitin village, and threw stones at vehicles of citizens passing by.
- 04/16/2022: a group of Israeli settlers in the area east of Al-Mughayer village attacked a number of farmers and shepherds while grazing their sheep in the pasturelands, as a result of which 2 shepherds were injured and bruised.
- 04/18/2022: a group of Israeli settlers stormed the outskirts of Al-Tira neighborhood in Ramallah (the area between the city of Ramallah and the village of Ein Qinya), and performed the Talmudic rituals in the place, and withdrew.
- 04/21/2022a group of Israeli settlers entered the citizens' shepherd lands in the Ghoraba area, located between the towns of Sinjel and Abwein, and withdrew at a later time.
- 04/21/2022: a group of Israeli settlers entered the agricultural lands of citizens in the Rafid area of Sinjil town, and assaulted 3 citizens, while they were trying to plow agricultural land, including: Dr. Moataz Abdel Rahman (mayor of Sinjil), Ali Muhammad Nabil (an employee of the Sinjel Municipality), and Awad Shabana.
- 04/26/2022: a group of Israeli settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in Ras Karkar village, and cut the branches of a number of olive trees owned by: Osama Khaled Samhan.
