WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Closure

On June 24th 2016, The Israeli army intensified their restrictions at the entrance to Jerusalem city, set up several flying checkpoints on the main road leading to the city and prevented worshipers from conducting prayers at Al-Aqsa mosque compound { with the exception of those over the age of 45 and under the age of 12 years, including women of all ages} during the 3rd week of the holy month of Ramadan.

Raid

At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town until 01:10.

Detention

1. At 15:25, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya checkpoint detained Hassan Adel Tuqan (A resident of Nablus city).
2. At 22:45, Israeli forces positioned near "Aterot" industrial zone detained the child Ahmad Hassan Ali Abu Samrah (16 years old) {A resident of Qalandiya camp}.
3. At 23:00, Israeli forces detained Hussain Abu Fahed (A resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.)

Temporary Detention

At 15:25, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya checkpoint temporarily detained the child Ameen Mohammad Mahmoud Staiti (14 years old) {A resident of Tulkarem city} then released him at a later time.

Attack

At 23:30, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 14:30.

Demonstrations

At 13:30, a demonstration took place in Bil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which demonstrators clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

JENIN

Raid

At 06:10, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qud village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Saed Thabet Abu Obied in Kafr Qud.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Habla tunnel located at the south entrance of Qalqilya then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations

At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach they demonstration site and left several residents suffocating from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

At 13:20, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators in Kafr Qaddum village.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 21:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 22:30.

Raid

At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Hatab village.

Settlers Attacks

1.At 15:30, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitzhar" settlement stormed Asira Al-Qibliya village and spray painted racist and anti arab graffiti on water tanks in the village.
2. At 18:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Qusra village during which Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts who attempted to prevent the settler attack then withdrew at 18:40.

At 18:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts who attempted to prevent the settler attack in Qusra village.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 01:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Zaatara checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 03:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit then searched residents and vehicles until 16:50.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Bruqin town then searched residents and vehicles .

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 01:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho then searched resiednts and vehicles until 01:55.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 06:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Obidiya town until 07:25.

Temporary Detention

At 11:35, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 Palestinian National Security Force officers: Mohammad Yusef Abu Amryeh and Qayes Ahmad Al-Asa then released them at 14:10.

Attack

1.At 07:25 on June 24th 2016, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate near "Murad Tourist resort" located north of Dar Salah village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents who attempted to climb the wall to enter Jerusalem city and as a result set fire to dry thorn bushes.
2. At 23:55, Israeli forces positioned near road (60) area near Al-Khader town and Soliman's Pool area in Irtas village fired flash grenades into the sky and as a result set fire to dry thorn bushes.

Physical Assault

At 14:30, Mohammad Mustafa Mohammad Jalham was hospitalised in Beit Jalla city hospital after he was assaulted by Israeli forces as he was travelling to Jerusalem.

HEBRON

Raid

At 05:00, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, detained 2 residents and summoned several resiednts to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Musa Shratih and Thaer Ali Abu Sabha in Yatta town.

Attack

At 14:45, Israeli forces opened fire towards a woman travelling in her vehicle along road (60) in Al-Bu'qa area near "Kiryat Arba'" settlement in east Hebron city and as a result killed her.

Killings

Majd Abdallah Al-Khadour (18 years old){ A resident of Bani Na'im town} was killed after Israeli forces opened fire towards her while travelling in her vehicle along road (60) in Al-Bu'qa area near "Kiryat Arba'" settlement in east Hebron city .

Closure of main Roads

At 18:20, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Bani Na'im town with dirt mounds.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 07:30 on June 24th 2016, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
