“Dear citizens, I call upon anyone eligible to request a gun license. It saves lives!”
Amichai Chikli, Minister for Social Equality and Pensioners, Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Member of Likud Party (Twitter, 3 July 2023)
“I support the security forces and IDF[1] soldiers working at this time in the hornets’ nest of Jenin[2] ; “ You provide a broad path for my feet so that my ankles do not give away, I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back till they were destroyed …(…)[3].”
Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, Member of Knesset for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Facebook, 5 July 2023)
“Let every despicable terrorist know that he is as good as dead! I congratulate the IDF soldiers and BP[4] fighters for a successful operation[5].”
Yair Lapid, Leader of the opposition, Member of Knesset for Yesh Atid party (Twitter, 3 July 2023)
“I support the security forces working now in Jenin. We are all behind you. This is a justified action against terrorism infrastructure based on accurate quality Intelligence. The Commando, Paratroopers, Golani Brigades, and Shin Bet[6]are working against terrorism infrastructures and the attempts to build rocket systems in Jenin with Iranians’ support.”
Merav Ben Ari, Member of Knesset for Yesh Atid party (Twitter, 3 July 2023)
“I support the IDF and security forces working these hours in Jenin.
The people of Israel are all behind you. Jenin is filled with terrorist organizations, from which many terrorists came to harm Israeli soldiers and citizens. Good luck, we are all with you.”
Eli Cohen, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Member of Likud Party (Twitter, 3 July 2023)
“Let the IDF win. We all stand behind the IDF soldiers and security forces working in Jenin to eliminate terrorism nests. We will destroy terrorism with determination and a solid fist.”
Yuli Yoel Edelstein, Member of Knesset for the Likud party (Facebook, 3 July 2023)
“I support the security forces now working with determination and professionalism in a wide range area[7]. Let every enemy know that the state of Israel will not rest when faced with a threat against it – no matter how small.”
Tally Gotliv, Member of Knesset for the Likud party (Twitter, 7 July 2023)
“A Palestinian running from an IDF soldier must be shot. A Palestinian approaching an IDF soldier must be shot. The policy regarding opening fire must change. Those who show mercy to the cruel are doomed to be cruel to the merciful (…)[8].”
Limor Sonn Har Melech, Member of Knesset for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) (Twitter, 12 July 2023)
“The bill proposal that prevents the return of terrorists’ bodies is necessary[9] due to the fact that the enemy glorifies its terrorists, and their graves become places for pilgrimage and incitement to terrorism. I don’t understand why Minister Galant is vetoing, and I hope that the PM will make it clear that he was elected under a right-wing party.”
Torat IDF[10] (Twitter, 20 July 2023)
“Thousands of Arabs in Judea and Samaria[11] and Jerusalem are now firing weapons[12] without disruption in celebration over the Bagrut[13] results. No one is coming to stop them, collect the weapons, which is used for terrorism attacks in its free time. Administrative arrests?[14] Only for Jews. The day will come where the IDF’s Commander has Jewish perception and not progressive.”
Yitzhak Kroizer, Member of Knesset for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 16 July 2023)
“I am happy that the bill I proposed, “Southern Law” with the encouragement and support of the Minister for National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, passed in the Ministerial committee for legislation. The bill proposal will give full support to soldiers and police officers. Gone are the days when rioters would enter the bases[15] and steal equipment and the soldiers would have no response. We promised and delivered! [16]”
II. Against President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Leadership
Torat IDF (Twitter, 3 July 2023)
“The Funeral of the terrorist that was killed by our fighters in Al-Bireh[17]. The PA[18] – a terrorist organization, enemy, praising terrorists and produces terrorism itself. Is this still unclear to anyone?”
Tzvi Yedidia Sukkot, Member of Knesset for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 6 July 2023)
“It is possible and necessary to chase specific terrorists 24 hours, but without touching the root, nothing will significantly change. The root is the terrible incitement. Period. It is the Palestinian Authority that pays life-long salaries to the killers of Jews. It is Ayman Odeh[19] that yells from the Knesset podium “Long live the Jenin refugee camp” during the funeral of an IDF soldier that was killed there.”
Limor Sonn Har Melech, Member of Knesset for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) (Twitter, 9 July 2023)
“I thank Itamar[20], the only one who opposed the idiocrasy. Whoever thinks that the Palestinian Authority that funds terrorism is the solution is wrong. All the terrorists that killed Jews recently will receive salaries, or their families will receive compensation for this murder. We will also remind that the educational programs[21] which praise martyrs and the illegal takeover of the nation’s land[22]. The PA[23] must be destroyed, the sooner the better. ”
III. Additional Examples
Gilad Erdan, Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations (Twitter, 7 July 2023)
“I gave a speech at an exciting ceremony during which, the governor of the New Hampshire, Chris Sununu, signed a new order preventing his state from conducting business or investing in companies that boycott Israel. While the anti-Semitic commission of inquiry of the Human Right Council rudely attacks the states in the US that defends Israel against boycott, New Hampshire decision is the best answer to this Anti-Semitic commission. We will continue building a financial and moral “Iron Dome” above Israel against the BDS. Thank you my friend governor Sununu.”
Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, Chairman of the Likud party (Twitter, 2 July 2023)
“A fourth new town that we are establishing in the past few months: “Ramat Arbel” [24]! This is a day of celebration for the state of Israel and the pioneering families who are holding onto the area. An important announcement for the strengthening of the Jewish settlement in the Galilee, a matter that is important to us all.”
Bezalel Smotrich, Minister of Finance, Member of Knesset for the Religious Zionism Party (Twitter, 2 July 2023)

Thank you to all my Minister friends for the cooperation, and congratulations to the pioneering settlers who are settling the land.”
Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, Member of Knesset for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 2 July 2023)
