Israeli Incitement Reports
February 09, 2023

I. Against the Palestinian People

Miri Regev, Minister of Transportation and Road Safety, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 31 January 2023)

“We promised, and we delivered. Terrorists[1] will not receive rights! I just voted in the Knesset to revoke the citizenship and/ or residency[2] of a terrorism activist who receives compensation for terrorism activities! We will expand this as promised to include his family. The time when a terrorist sits in jail for an attack against Israeli citizens and receives social security, education, and more is over. We will conquer terrorism with a strong hand and no mercy.”

Avigdor Lieberman, MK for the Yisrael Beitenu (Israel Our Home) party (Twitter, 11 January 2023)

“It is unacceptable that a terrorist[3] who hurts citizens of Israel will continue being a citizen or resident and also receive rewards from the Palestinian Authority[4] for the terrorism acts he did (…)”

Zeev Elkin, MK for the National Unity party (Twitter, 11 January 2023)

“We started! My bill proposal to revoke the citizenship of terrorists who receive salaries from the Palestinian Authority passed the preliminary vote with a smashing majority, together with the bill proposals of MKs from the coalition and the opposition, including the social bill of Sharen Haskel[5], who is leading the struggle in the subject for a few years. We must finish this legislation before the release of the terrorist[6] next week.”

Ofir Sofer, Minister of Immigration and Absorption, MK for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 31 January 2023)

“Today, we change the equation of terrorism. My bill proposal to revoke the citizenship of terrorists and exile them passed the first vote. Today, I promised the dear bereaved families – while our brothers and sisters bleed to death, we will not allow damned terrorists’ rights here, their place is in Gaza, and that’s where we will throw them!”

Ofir Katz, Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 9 January 2023)[7]

“The place of these damned terrorists is in Gaza or Ramallah, not here! Today, I decided on speedy legislation for my bill to revoke the citizenship of terrorists. It is infuriating that terrorism supporting Knesset members like Tibi [8] dare to defend these vile murderers (…)”

Miri Miriam Regev, Minister of Transportation and Road Safety, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 11 January 2023)

“Terrorists should rot in jail and then move to Gaza or Ramallah! Their story is over!
No more social security, no more income support, no more Bachelor’s degrees, and world cup! This is not a matter of right and left. We must protect all the citizens of Israel from terrorists, specifically those who get paid to kill Israelis and Jews.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 6 January 2023)

“Yesterday, I visited Nafcha prison[9] following the construction of new cells to ensure that whoever killed Jews will not receive better conditions than what exists. I will continue to deal with the imprisonment conditions of security prisoners to stop the policies that existed until now and pass the death penalty bill[10] to terrorists.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 8 January 2023) [11]

“I canceled Omer Bar-Lev[12] and Mickey Levy’s[13] policy that allowed any MK to meet terrorists in prison after I came to the conclusion that these visits brought incitement and promotion of terrorism acts.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 3 January 2023)

“The government of Israel that I am a member of will not surrender to a murderous vile organization. Temple Mount [14] is open to all, and if Hamas thinks that threatening will deter me, they should understand that times have changed. There is a government in Jerusalem!”

Almog Cohen, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 26 January 2023)[15]

“Beautiful and professional work of the fighters[16] in Jenin[17], keep killing them.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) Party(Twitter, 5 January 2023) [18]

“Until we pass the death penalty bill, I will do anything so that they leave prison in shame, God willing.”

Regavim Organization [19] (Twitter, 16 January 2023)

“Evacuate Khan Al-Ahmar[20]: 14 days until the state’s reply on an urgent matter, even in the winter! The illegal outpost Khan Al-Ahmar is not there for nothing, it is located on a strategic point that connects Jerusalem, Jericho, and Ramallah, and it is only one in a huge network of outposts that the Palestinians are establishing in huge steps to take over state lands.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) Party (Twitter, 21 January 2021)

“Tomorrow, at the government’s meeting, I will demand the immediate eviction of Khan Al-Ahmar. The law is the law, and I will not accept, in any situation, that only Jewish outposts are enforced[21] and demolished[22], while Arabs continue the illegal construction in all of Judea and Samaria[23]. Racism – not in our house. The law must be enforced on everyone!”

Amihai Ben-Eliyahu, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage (Twitter, 7 January 2023) [24]

“What democracy? You are supporting the enemy[25]!”

Eli Dallal, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 7 January 2023)

“This flag[26] is not related to the protest against the legal reform. This flag is only related to the murder of Jews. Shame and disgrace!”

Eliyahu Revivo, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 9 January 2023)

“I initiated a bill proposal, according to which anyone who waves PLO[27] and enemy state flags in all areas of the state of Israel will be jailed for a year and will pay a 10,000 ILS fine. Governance begins by strengthening sovereignty. No more public support of terrorism disguised as a legitimate expression of opinion. No more strengthening and encouraging terrorists (…).”

Galit Distel Atbaryan, Minister of Information, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 28 January 2023) [28]

“His kindergarten teachers. His school teachers. Men of religion he knew personally and those he didn’t. The joy of the neighbors who gave him candy. The picture in the living room of the cousin or nephew who became a Shahid[29]. Hundreds of television shows. The guide in summer camp. The 10,000 ILS his parents will receive monthly, with a nice addition of a few hundred shekels because he is a resident of Jerusalem. There is no such thing as a lone terrorist.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Facebook, 12 January 2023)

“I congratulate the police for arresting the terrorism supporter[30] that visited the terrorists in Jenin. We will not allow support of terrorism of any kind from anyone.”

Gilad Erdan, Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations (Twitter, 26 January 2023)

“After Israel’s counter-terrorism operation this morning in Jenin against the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, I said in my speech for Int’l Holocaust Day that the world must back the Jewish state as we fight terror against innocent Israelis. This is the embodiment of Never Again.”

Gilad Erdan, Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations (Twitter, 28 January 2023)

“Disgusting! On the day that the world remembers the horrors of the Holocaust, Palestinians are celebrating the murder of innocent Israelis in Jerusalem with fireworks and dancing. This is a result of decades of Palestinian incitement and hate that the world ignores.”

Gilad Erdan, Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations

(Twitter, 26 January 2023)

“Following the preventive actions of the IDF in Jenin this morning, in a ceremony at the UN for the International Holocaust Day, I said that it is not enough to talk about the memory of the Holocaust. A central lesson from the Holocaust is to support that Jewish state while we are fighting against murderous terrorism that threatens to harm innocent Jews, this is the support I am demanding today.”

Ofir Sofer, Minister of Immigration and Absorption, MK for the Religious Zionism party (Facebook, 29 January 2023)

“We will not allow a situation where the mother of a damned terrorist gives candy she bought with money she receives from the Israeli Social Security. We will act with a strong hand.[31]

II. Against President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian Leadership

Gilad Erdan, Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations (Twitter, 18 January 2023)

“Terror comes in many forms, and the Palestinians have mastered another terror tactic. By manipulating and weaponizing int. organizations, like the ICJ[32], the Palestinians aim to force Israel to give in to all of their demands without negotiations, dialogue, or mutual concessions.”

Amihai Ben Eliyahu, Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and Heritage (Facebook, 17 January 2023) [33]

“The Palestinian Authority is carrying out an intentional nationalist attack[34], and are working to erase Jewish heritage and identity in the Joshua Alter [35]on Mount Ebal. We must do everything to stop this despicable crime. This is our national land and heritage.”

Regavim Organization (Twitter, 13 January 2023)

“A Palestinian plan seeks to build luxury residential neighborhoods in the alter area on Mount Ebal, thus continuing the destruction of one of the most important Jewish and international heritage sites that were discovered in the country.  Following the barbaric damage that the Palestinian Authority did to the site, and the new plan to erase it, the state of Israel must prevent any attempt to damage it. Actions and not words.”

Bezalel Smotrich, Minister of Finance, MK for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 6 January 2023) [36]

“As we demanded in the coalition agreement, we are putting an end to the terror celebration of the Palestinian Authority, the payments for terrorists, and the benefits they get from us. Whoever works against us – will pay a heavy price. And this is only the beginning (…)”

Ofir Sofer, Minister of Immigration and Absorption, MK for the Religious Zionism party (Twitter, 8 January 2023) [37]

“The Palestinian Authority encourages and supports terrorists, killers of Jews. An important and crucial decision by Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 7 January 2023)

“I signed a warrant to prevent the Palestinian Authority’s terrorism conference in Jerusalem, and the police dispersed the conference. It is time to stop the Palestinian Authority’s celebration in Israel and not allow members of the Authority to host terrorism conferences in Jerusalem or anywhere else. I thank the Jerusalem police for the quick action.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 8 January 2023)

“Today I instructed the Israeli police to enforce the law preventing the waving of the PLO flag, which shows affiliation to a terrorist organization[38], from the public space, and to stop any event of incitement against the State of Israel. We will combat terrorism and terrorism promotion with all of our power!”

Eli Cohen, Minister of Foreign Affairs, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 6 January 2023)

“The attempts by the Palestinian Authority to damage Israel on the international scene will cost them heavily! Yesterday in the Cabinet, we decided on a series of steps as a response to the petition submitted [39] by the PA to the ICJ, including the immediate deduction of the PA payments to terrorists and their families, freezing Palestinian construction plans in Area C, revoking benefits to senior members of the PA, and more.”

Eli Cohen, Minister of Foreign Affairs, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 17 January 2023)

“Meaningless statements and signatures[40] will not stop us from making the right decisions that will protect our citizens and ensure our future. The interest of all the countries in the world is to stop the Palestinian Authority’s incitement, which encourages and pays terrorists who kill Jews (…).”

Gilad Erdan, Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations (Twitter, 18 January 2023)

“The Palestinians are involved in another form of terrorism – political terrorism. They are using the distortions in the UN and are inciting international bodies against Israel to make us surrender to all its ridiculous claims and back down. The UN’s decision to transfer the conflict to the court in the Hague is another step in their political terrorism against Israel. In the face of terrorism – we defend ourselves!”

III. Against the Indigenous Palestinian Citizens of Israel

Orit Malka Strock, Minister of National Missions, MK for the Religious Zionism party(Twitter, 5 January 2023)

“The bill to revoke citizenships of terrorists: the coalition chairman, Ofir Katz, is right to suggest to the opposition to join his legislation. My friend, Avi Dicter, and I signed it with many of the current opposition members in the last Knesset, including Gideon Sa’ar, Zeev Elkin, Oded Forer, Orna Barbivay, Meir Cohen, and Matan Kahana[41].  The bill is gaining consensus.”

“According to a survey by the      Smith Institute[42] from last July, 92% of the public will support it. Moreover: it will gain international consensus because the citizenship revoking suggested in it – a result of receiving terrorism-payment from the PA[43] using the Pay for Slay method (…)”

“The public in Israel, who today will watch the celebrations of the release of the terrorist Karim Younis[44], may God damn him – expects to see the entire Knesset (excluding the terrorism supporters[45] who are there due to Bagatz[46] endorsement) are uniting around this important and elemental bill. Of course, if the opposition refuses to participate in the legislation – we will pass it without them.”

Yoav Gallant, Minister of Defense, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 27 January 2023)

“(…) The un-relentless attack of Knesset Members[47], who despise the Zionist idea, against IDF activities in Jenin constitute support for terrorism support and harms IDF[48] soldiers.”

Im Tirtzu Movement[49] (Twitter, 12 January 2023) [50]

“MK Almog Cohen:  In the Negev,  there are armed gangs[51], with Islamic ideology that endangers the residents.  We will wage an all-out war on them. We will reach their homes, and we will make their lives miserable.”

Hanoch Dov Milwidsky, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 18 January 2023)

“Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people. There are still terrorism supporters serving in the Israeli Knesset, who are still serving here due to a twisted ruling by Bagatz[52]. I will do everything in my power to create legislation that will prevent terrorism supporters from serving in the Knesset. Additionally, on the propaganda front, I will continue opposing normalizing relationships with these people.”

Orit Malka Strock, Minister of National Missions, MK for the Religious Zionism party(Twitter, 11 January 2023)

“The bill to revoke the citizenship of terrorists: A moment before the vote, I call upon the Arab Members of Knesset to vote for this just law. This is your test! Are you supporting the killing of Jews? Are you supporting payments in exchange for killing Jews? If you don’t vote in support – of course, you are supporting terrorism against Israel.”

Almog Cohen, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Facebook, 1 January 2023)

“Otzma Yehudit party headed by Itamar Ben Gvir will vote against Ahmad Tibi as Knesset Speaker[53]. No agreements/understandings with terrorism supporters.”

Yitzhak Kroizer, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 9 January 2023)[54]

“This terrorism supporter is called Sami Abou Shahadeh, a former member of the Israeli Knesset, and you paid for his salary, and today you are paying his pension. To him, “the occupation must end,” and the Palestinian flag should be raised. Sami, this land belongs to the Jewish people, you and your friends, the terrorism supporters, belong in Syria.”

Eliyahu Revivo, MK for the Likud party (Twitter, 27 January 2023) [55]

“The real face of Mansour Abbas[56] and his friends in Ra’am are exposed – these are complete terrorism supporters. Their place is in jail, not the Israeli Knesset.”

Im Tirtzu Movement (Twitter, 5 January 2023) [57]

“(…) Damned terrorists like Younis must get the death penalty, or at the very least be exiled to Syria or Lebanon. It is a shame that he can walk around in the land of Israel now.”

Itamar Ben Gvir, Minister of National Security, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party (Twitter, 22 January 2023) [58]

“I congratulate the police on this important arrest. On the weekend, I led a policy of war against terrorism supporters, and with effective action from the police. For the first time in many years, we prevent incitement celebrations and terrorism support. On my watch, I will not allow tents, flags, and terrorism celebrations[59]. I am glad things were implemented in Wadi A’ra[60] this weekend, and I hope it continues.”

Almog Cohen, MK for the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party, (Facebook, 30 January 2023)

“I arrived together with activists from the movement “Im-Tirtzu” to the Tel Aviv university, where terrorism supporting students from the Hadash[61] cell were protesting in support of the terrorists from Jenin, may God erase their memory. We will not allow incitement for terrorism in the state of Israel! (…)”
