Israeli Official Incitement: April 2019
This report includes examples of the Israeli official incitement against the Palestinian prisoners, martyrs, and their families, the indigenous Palestinian citizens of Israel, Human Rights Defenders, as well as statements against the President of the State of Palestine and the Palestinian leadership.
I. Palestinian Prisoners and Martyrs and their Families
Yisrael Beitenu published a video on Twitter on 7 April inciting against Palestinian prisoners
Avigdor Lieberman speaks in the video:
"In the next Knesset we will advance the death penalty law for terrorists, till then we have been working on depriving them overstated rights in regards to decreasing sentence by one third, they will remain in prison until they finish their sentences.”
Minister of Public Security, Minister of Strategic Affairs, Minister of Information MK (Likud) Gilad Erdan (Israel’s Army Radio, 6 April)
“My policy is not to bow to hunger strikes. I recall that we ended the biggest hunger strike led by Barghouthi without granting terrorists any right or achievement, I hope that this hunger strike will end up the same way. This strike is led by Hamas terrorists who are opposing the policy of banning smuggled mobiles that they use to carry out operations.”

III. Human Rights Defenders
Minister of Public Security, Minister of Strategic Affairs, Minister of Information, MK (Likud) Gilad Erdan against Omar Shaker, the Israel and Palestine Director of Human Rights Watch ( Twitter, 16 April)
“I congratulate the District Court in Jerusalem, which approved today my position and the position of the Interior Minister to annul the work permit of BDS activist Omar Shaker and expel him from Israel. I will continue to fight those employing BDS activities who are attempting to harm Israel and its citizens. We won't allow them to call for the boycott of Israel under the cover of 'Human Rights Activists' as Shaker did."

“ Today the Jerusalem District court approved my position of not extending the work permit for Omar Shaker due to his support to BDS.. it is not acceptable for anyone who calls for the boycott of Israel to ask the state to open its door for him.”
IV. The Indigenous Palestinian Citizens of Israel
Finance Minister, MK (Kulanu) Moshe Kahlon requested the Attorney General to check if Jaffa Theater is planning to organize an activity with the participation of a BDS activist and to commemorate the Nakba anniversary (Channel 7, 16 April)
“I asked the attorney general in my office to check this activity. If the details are correct I will stop funding this place. It is not possible that the state of Israel funds activities that call for its boycott. I fight BDS in every possible mean.”
Minister of Culture, MK (Likud) Miri Regev (Channel 7, 16 April)
“Holding an activity that is against Israel in Jaffa Theater, which is a cultural institution supported by the money of the tax payers in Israel, seems to be a violation to one of the items of Nakba law.”

We will win two birds with a blow.”

“I wonder what would the president of France say if he found out that the Palestinian Authority is paying a monthly salary of 12000 Nis to the murderer Carlos” the fox” who is jailed in their prison after he received life sentence for carrying out serious terror attacks…Mr. Macron please accept a free advice from someone who has been combating terrorism for the past 50 years: in the war on terrorism: the state does not count funds- will count the corpses”.
