DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 1st June 2023-08:00, 2nd June 2023
At 23:30, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya (near the roundabout of the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 08:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
1. At dawn on 06/01/2023, the occupation forces raided the village of Beit Sira, and detained 4 citizens (including 3 children).
2. At 22:40, the occupying forces raided the village of Nabi Saleh, where clashes took place with the citizens, while they were on patrol, which resulted in the injury of 6 citizens (including a child and his father).
The 4 detainees in the village of Beit Sira are: Khalil Muhammad Abu Safiya, 16 years old, Ahmed Muhammad Alqam, 16 years old, Yaqoub Zaid Al-Hajj, 16 years old, and Hamdan Hamdan.
At 22:40, the occupying forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, while on patrol, which resulted in the injury of 6 citizens (including a child and his father).
The 6 wounded during clashes with the occupation forces in the village of Nabi Saleh are: Muhammad Haitham Al-Tamimi, 3 years old, Haitham Al-Tamimi, Bilal Al-Tamimi, Wissam Marwan Al-Tamimi, Nora Muhammad Hassan Ayoub, and Muhammad Shaker Mahmoud Al-Tamimi.
On 06/01/2023, the occupying forces in the village of Al-Mughair delivered a military order to the citizen: Nael Rashid Al-Hajj Muhammad, to confiscate 5 dunums of his land located at the eastern entrance to the village, for military purposes - with the aim of establishing a military watchtower.
On the morning of 06/01/2023, the occupying forces closed the "Dotan" checkpoint, located on the main road, Jenin - Tulkarm, to traffic.
1. At 23:30, the occupation forces raided the village of Faqqu'a, where clashes took place with the citizens, while they were on patrol.
2. At dawn on 06/02/2023, the occupation forces raided the villages of Al-Jalama, Arana and Arbouna, and conducted a patrol.
At 23:30, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, during the raid into the village of Faqqu'a, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, while they were on patrol.
On the evening of 06/01/2023, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Tayaseer checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
On 06/01/2023, a group of settlers in the Umm Al-Abr area in the northern Jordan Valley placed a barbed wire fence around a plot of land, in an attempt to seize it.
At 22:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Izbat al-Tabib, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 18:25, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Huwwara checkpoint, obstructing traffic.
At 01:15, the occupation forces raided the village of Burqa, and detained a citizen.
1. At 22:40, the occupying forces, at the "Shafi Shomron" checkpoint, detained the citizen: Imran Raed Khaled Atatreh - residents of the town of Ya'bad, Jenin Governorate.
2. The detainee in the village of Burqa is: Maan Al-Shaer.
1. At noon on 06/01/2023, a group of settlers from the "Esh Kodesh" settlement outpost set fire to the pastoral lands located in the southeastern side of the town of Qusra.
2. On the evening of 06/01/2023, a group of settlers entered the lands of Burqa village, and destroyed a number of tombstones in one of the village's cemeteries, near the ruins of the evacuated "Homesh" settlement.
At 21:45, the occupation forces arrested at the Za'tara junction checkpoint, the military: Muhammad Amer Salem Hashash (of the Palestinian General Intelligence Service) - residents of Balata camp in Nablus.
On the evening of 06/01/2023, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Hamra checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
At 08:20, the occupation forces raided Aqabat Jabr camp in the city of Jericho, and patrolled until 08:55.
At 16:45, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 17:50.
At 20:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Hebron, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities until 22:30.
1. At 04:05, the occupation forces raided the town of Bani Naim, and detained 3 citizens (including 2 brothers).
2. At dawn on 06/02/2023, the occupation forces stormed the town of Yatta, and conducted a patrol.
The 3 detainees in the town of Bani Naim are: Salem Ali Salem Zaidat, Qusay Khaled Ali Zaidat, and his brother Uday.
On 06/01/2023, a group of settlers from the "Beit Ein" settlement in the Ein Ma'a Al-Bayda area of the town of Beit Ummar cut down 25 olive trees and vines, owned by the citizen: Ahmed Nimr Adi, and set up tents around the water spring, owned by the citizen: Muhammad Ahmed Ady.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
* The occupation forces violated the cease-fire by storming our areas in the central governorate, and by firing at the fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza governorate.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - "Erez": on 06/1/2023 partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen, workers, and travelers through the Karama crossing "Allenby" - previously coordinated for them).
On the morning of 06/01/2023, Israeli gunboats opened fire and launched tear gas canisters towards fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea off the shore of Al-Sudaniyya area, west of the town of Beit Lahiya.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
On the morning of 06/01/2023, several vehicles and bulldozers from the occupation army, with cover from reconnaissance planes, stormed our areas, east of the city of Deir al-Balah, and carried out excavation and leveling work.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
*Sufa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": on 06/1/2023, it is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah: on 06/1/2023, it is open (for the departure and entry of citizens).
