WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

• At 17:00 on 04/24/2023, the occupation forces imposed a complete closure on the West Bank governorates on the occasion of "the anniversary of the dead Israeli army and the establishment of the State of Israel", and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering the city of Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions and humanitarian cases And emergency medical cases after prior coordination, until 24:00 on 04/26/2023.

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 09:00, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens (brothers):Osama Al-Ajlouni and his brother Fahd in the city of Jerusalem.
2. At 11:10, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Suhaib Al-Ramouni and Imad Al-Ramouni in the village of Sur Baher.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 08:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
2. At 09:00, the occupation police raided Bab Al-Rahma chapel in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, confiscated some of its contents, and prevented worshipers from entering it.
3. At 20:00, the occupation police cut off the call to prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and prevented the muezzin from completing the call to prayer, under the pretext that there were celebrations for Jews in Al-Buraq Square.
4. At 21:00, the occupation police raided Bab Al-Rahma chapel in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and took pictures of the worshipers while they were performing the evening prayer.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Turmusaya, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 08:50, the occupation forces raided the town of Aboud, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 09:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Deir Abu Mishaal, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 09:05, the occupation forces raided the village of Shuqba, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 11:10, the occupation forces raided the village of Shebtin, and conducted a patrol.
5. At 23:20, the occupation forces raided the village of Deir Nizam, and conducted a patrol.

Detention

1. At 02:15 on 04/24/2023, the occupation forces detained the university student - Ibrahim Ramadan Al-Naasan, during the raid on the village of Al-Mughair.
2. At 18:15, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Abdullah Abdel Alim Hamed - a resident of Silwad town, and Aws Ghassan Barakat - a resident of Burqa village.

At 20:25, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Tayaseer checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

Detention

On 04/24/2023, the occupation forces positioned at the entrance to the Al-Baqi'a area in the northern Jordan Valley, detained the citizen: Amin Yassin Abdel-Fattah Bisharat -a resident of the town of Tamoun.

TULKAREM

1. At 15:45, the occupation forces raided the village of Izbat Shufa, and conducted a patrol.

The detainee in the city of Tulkarm is: Rabi` Ezzat Saeed Jaber.

QALQILIYA

At 02:50, the occupation forces raided the city of Qalqilya, and detained 2 citizens.

Detention

The two detainees in the city of Qalqilya are: Naji Al-Ghazawi and Hamza Ayman Mahmoud Barham.

Confiscation of Property

At 14:40, the occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer belonging to the citizen: Abdel Aziz Shaher Abdel Aziz Salim, located in the area between the town of Jayyous and the village of Nabi Elias, while working on the reclamation of agricultural land, under the pretext that it is located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

6. At 21:05, the occupation forces raided the villages of Tal Surra, and conducted a patrol.

Attack

At 14:30, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Bazariya fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 09:50, the occupation forces raided the town of Bidya, and confiscated a concrete pump owned by the Yacoub Concrete Company.
2. At 16:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol and as a result injured 3 citizens (including 2 children - one of whom lost an eye).

Attack

At 16:00, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during the raid into the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan and as a result injured 3 citizens (including 2 children - one of whom lost one of his eyes).

Injuries

The 3 civilians: Muhammad Rayan, 12 years old, Omar Assi, 16 years old (he lost one of his eyes), and Saeed Al Halabi were injured during clashes with the occupation forces in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

On 04/24/2023, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Hamra checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

On 04/24/2023, the occupation forces set up flying checkpoints to search all entrances to the city of Jericho (for the third day in a row), and obstructed traffic.

Detention

At 02:40 on 04/24/203, the occupation forces detained 3 citizens during their raid into Aqabat Jabr camp (as mentioned in the previous report): Ibrahim Ali Othman Habash, Hussam Ayman Hussein Farah, and Ahmed Muhammad Mahmoud Odeh.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:05, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 23:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Tuqu', cklashed with the citizens, during a raid on a house, and material damage to a private vehicle.
2. At 03:00, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Khader, and conducted a patrol.

Detention

At 18:50, the occupation forces detained Ahmed Eid Sabah at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu'.

Attack

At 23:00, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens, for alleged stoning as they stormed a house during their raid into town of Tuqu' .

Destruction of Property

At 23:00, the occupation forces, caused material damage to a private vehicle owned by the citizen: Arafat Al-Amor during their raid into the town of Tuqu',.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beit Awa, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 15:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Sa'ir, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 22:45, the occupation forces raided Hebron, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 00:50, the occupation forces raided the town of Yatta, and raided and searched a house.

Detention

At 18:10, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Yusef Jaafrah - a resident of the town of Tarqumiya.

On the morning of 04/24/2023, the occupation forces fired fire and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands and citizens, shepherds, east of the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
*Sufa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": on 04/24/2023, it is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah: On 04/24/2023, is closed.
