DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 17th March 2023-08:00, 18th March 2023
1. At 11:30, the occupation forces detained the child: Youssef Al-Zaatari, 16 years old, in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
2. At 14:00, the occupation forces detained 2 citizens - residents of the town of Al-Ram, namely: Saher Al-Salaimeh and Adam Al-Salaimeh.
3. At 15:00, the occupation forces detained Omar Al-Zughair in the Lions Gate area in the Old City of Jerusalem.
4. At 16:00, the occupation forces positioned at the Jaba military checkpoint, detained the citizen: Adnan Ribhi Shuqair.
5. On 03/17/2023, the occupation forces positioned near the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque detained the civilian:Elias Al-Qaymari,
On 03/17/2023, the occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to deport 4 children - residents of the city of Jerusalem, for a week from the Old City of Jerusalem, as a condition for their release.
At 14:40, the occupation forces positioned near the junction of the town of Al-Ram fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 19:00, the occupation forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances to the town of Silwad, the village of Kafr Malik, and the Jalazoun camp, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 15:40, the occupation forces raided the village of Deir Bzei',clashed with the citizens, and detained a citizen.
2. At 02:30, the occupation forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 22:35, the occupation forces positioned at the Ni'lin military checkpoint: detained Brigadier General Imad Yusef Qatawi (from the Palestinian General Intelligence Service).
2. At 01:40, the occupation forces positioned at the Ni'lin checkpoint detained 2 citizens: Saed Shaker Muhammad Ali and Wasfi Abu Sir.
3. The detainee in the village of Deir Bzeih is: Sharif Moheeb Awad.
1. At 12:40, the occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters at the citizens demonstrating against the confiscation of land in favor of settlement projects, in the village of Al-Laban Al-Gharbi for alleged stoning
2. At 15:40, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, which resulted in the injury of 3 citizens.
3. At 16:05, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards the citizens demonstrating against settler attacks and the confiscation of land for settlement projects for alleged stoning

5. At 20:00, the occupation forces, stationed in the vicinity of the "Al-Mahkama" checkpoint located near the "Beit El" settlement, north of Al-Bireh, opened fire towards a citizen, under the pretext of his attempt to stab a soldier, and as a result killed him.
Yazan Omar Jamil Khasib, a 23-year-old resident of Tulkarm, was fatally shot by the occupation forces positioned near the "Al-Mahkama" checkpoint situated close to the "Beit El" settlement, which is north of Al-Bireh city.
The 3 civilians: Yazid Rabi', Ahmed Zain, and Yaqoub Othman were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Deir Bzei'.

At 00:10, the occupation forces positioned at a military checkpoint, the citizen: Khaled Hassan Nazzal, 60 years old - residents of Qalqilya.
At 13:00, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas n, at the protesting citizens, in protest at the closure of the eastern entrance to the village of Kafr Qaddum for alleged stoning and as a result, injured 8 citizens, and left a number of the citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
8 unidentified civilians were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddum.
At 18:45, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Shafi Shomron" checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

At 09:50, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Khalil Al-Barq - a resident of Beit Jala.
At 13:45, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Tuqu 'fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 20:30, a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens of the village of Husan, and cut down and uprooted 50 olive trees, owned by citizens of the Sabateen family.

The civilians (including 2 children): Yahya Marwan Al-Zaqiq, Iskandar Abu Maria 14 years old, Omar Al-Zaqiq, Qusai Abu Ayyash 14 years old, Jihad Abu Maria, Mahdi Abu Maria, Sadiq Abu Ayyash, Ward Awad were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar.
At 14:00, a group of settlers, east of the town of Yatta, attacked a number of citizens from the Al-Shawahin family.

On the morning of 03/17/2023, the occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands, east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, located in the northeast of Gaza City.
