DAILY SITUATION REPORT

02/23/2023, A general strike took place all governorates, which included schools, universities, shops and banks, in condemnation of the massacre committed by the occupation forces in the city of Nablus, which resulted in the death of 11 citizens (including 3 elderly people and a child). 102 others were wounded (7 of them seriously).
At 22:15, the occupation forces closed the Qalandia military checkpoint (under the pretext that an unidentified individual had opened fire at the checkpoint), and reopened it at a later time.
1. At 14:30, the occupation forces raided the town of Biddu, and stormed and searched a vehicle maintenance shop.
2. At 15:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Al-Jib, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 14:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning in the town of Abu Dis.

At 08:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 08:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Beitin, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 13:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.

The two civilians (including): Muhammad Fadl Al-Tamimi - residents of the village of Nabi Saleh were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh.

At 09:30, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Tayaseer checkpoint, and impeded traffic.
At 09:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of the "Mikhola" settlement in the northern Jordan Valley, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 16:45, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Ayham Fayez Youssef Aida - a resident of the city of Tubas.
1. At 08:20 and again at 15:55, the occupation forces tightened their measures at the Shufa checkpoint and impeded traffic.
2. At 10:20, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Einaf" checkpoint, and impeded traffic.

At 21:30, the occupation forces, stationed in the vicinity of Gate No. (104), built on the apartheid wall, west of Tulkarm, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 23:50, the occupation forces raided the town of Azzun, and conducted a patrol.
At 15:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the roundabout of Deir Sharaf village, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 08:40, the occupation forces raided the town of Asira Al-Shamaliya, the raid was repeated at 19:55, and they conducted a patrol.
2. At 09:30, the occupation forces raided the village of Sebastia, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 10:10, the occupation forces raided the city of Nablus, clashed with the citizens, and fired a number of shells towards a house while they were surrounding it, killing 11 citizens (including 3 elderly citizens and a child), and wounding 102 citizens (including 7). Citizens - seriously injured, and 3 journalists).
4. At 18:00, the occupation forces raided the village of Salem, and conducted a patrol.

At 22:45, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Ayman Abdel-Rahman Awes - a resident of the eastern village of Al-Laban, under the pretext that he had thrown stones at a settler bus.
At 10:10, during their raid into the city of Nablus, the occupatiopn forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated metal bullets , stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens,for alleged shotting and stoning and also fired a number of shells while they were surrounding a house, which led to the death of 11 citizens (including 3 elderly citizens, and a child), and 102 civilians were wounded (including 7 seriously wounded, and 3 journalists).
The 11 civilians killed during confrontations in the city of Nablus are: Adnan Sabaa Baara, 72 years old, Muhammad Khaled Anbousi, 25 years old, Tamer Nimr Minawi, 33 years old, Musab Munir Muhammad Awais, 26 years old, Hussam Bassam Aslim, 24 years old, Muhammad Abdel Fattah Abdel Ghani, 23 years old, Walid Riyad Hussein Dakhil, 23 years old, Abdel Hadi Abdel Aziz Ashqar, 61 years old, Muhammad Farid Shaaban, 16 years old, Jasser Jamil Abdel Wahhab Qanair, 23 years old, and Anan Shawkat Enab, 66 years old.
The 102 wounded (including 7 seriously wounded citizens, and 3 journalists) during clashes with the occupation forces in the city of Nablus (he knew of them): Hussein Hamdi Hussein Habishah, Naim Samer Naim Sayeh, Kinan Marwan Fathi Sab' al-Aish, 17 years old, Issa Ayesh Issa Abu Dawas, Youssef Shadi Nayef Haj Daoud, 11 years old (serious injury), Majd Mahmoud Ahmed, Muhammad Firas Muhammad Al-Quqa, Iyad Mujahid Salim Maalwani, Islam Moaz Jaafar Aisha, 16 years old, Talal Hilal Muhammad Oweijan, 14 years old, Ayman Nawaf Khaled Halawa, Abdul Rahman Sabry Abbas Abu Mustafa, 18 years old, Hassan Amer Muhammad Tayem, Ayman Muhammad Khader Abu Abdullah, Abdullah Ashraf Hussein Abu Amra, Ihab Mustafa Abu Lail, Khaled Shawkat Ahmed Abu Khamis, Majdi Muhammad Afif Darduk, Hamad Abdul Muttalib Luay Danbek 17 years old, Ayman Amer Obaid, Qassem Abdul Salam Sawan Ammar Muhammad Saadat Muhammad Jabr, Moaz Nizar Hamadneh, Tariq Essam Jaber, Naim Samer Naim Sayeh, Amr Hamdi Alam Al-Koni, Youssef Muhammad Shafiq Hashash, Muhammad Abdul Karim Khatib, Hisham Yasser Ladawi, Ahmed Luay Yaish, Muhammad Jihad Bisharat, Ammar Abu Hamad , Mustafa Muhammad Hamlawi, Walid Ramadan Daya, Amid Hobeisha, Iyad Mujahid Maalwani, Ahmed Kilani, Masoud Abdel Raouf Hammami, Abdel Halim Muhammad Abdel Halim, Tariq Essam Jaber, Omar Ahmed Hanno, Moayad Tabouq, Hamza Abdel Latif Hindiyeh, and Hazem Mahmoud Ibrahim.
At 11:15, the occupation forces demolished an agricultural room in the town of Qusra, under the pretext of not having a license.
At 15:00, a group of settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens on the outskirts of the village of Orif, attacked the citizens, and set fire to a bulldozer, which was working on paving a road in the village lands.

At 10:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the village of Ain Al-Dyouk, north of the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 17:00, the occupation forces positioned near the Aqabat Jaber camp in the city of Jericho fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 17:40, the occupation forces near Ain Al-Sultan camp in the city of Jericho fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 10:10, the occupation forces demolished, in the village of Ain Al-Dyouk Al-Tahta, a two-storey house, with an area of 170 square meters, owned by the citizen: Muhammad Awni Siam, under the pretext of not having a permit.
On 02/22/2023, a group of armed settlers in the Al-Maarajat area, west of the city of Jericho, impeded the Bedouin and shepherds of Arab Al-Malehat from leaving their homes at gunpoint.
1. At 13:55, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 16:40, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu', to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 14:40, the occupation forces raided the town of Al-Khader, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 17:20, the occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, as a result, injured 3 citizens.
1. At 10:40, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Musa Hatem Ibrahim Diriyeh - a resident of the town of Beit Fajjar.

Three unidentified civilians were injured during clashes with the occupation forces in the town of Beit Fajjar.
At 08:15, the occupation forces demolished 3 houses belonging to the citizens: Ghadir Muhammad Hassan Al-Tarsh (a house with an area of 110 square meters), Abdullah Rabah (a house consisting of 3 floors, with an area of each floor of 120 square meter's). square metres), and Rajai al-Araj (a house of 110 square meters), located in Ain Jawiza and Khallat Al-Hoor area's of the village of Al-Walajat under the pretext of not having a license.
At 08:15, the occupation forces demolished, in the areas of Ain Jawiza and Khallat Al-Hour in the village of Al-Walaja, 2 barracks for sheep farming (partial demolition), under the pretext of not being licensed.
On 02/22/2023, The occupation authorities approved the construction of 1,000 settlement housing units in the "Gush Etzion" settlement bloc, which was built on the lands of the citizens occupied in 1967.
1. At 11:00 and again at 17:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Ithna to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 12:25, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Bani Naim, to search vehicles and verify citizens' identities.
At 14:10, the occupation forces raided the Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron, and conducted a patrol.
At 14:25, the occupation forces detained 5 citizens: Anwar Salem Al-Mahariq, Firas Al-Mahariq, Abdullah Al-Mahariq, Ibrahim Mustafa Al-Mahariq, and Muhammad Al-Mahariq in the Shaab Hamdan area, near the town of Al-Samou'.
1. At 13:05, the occupation forces, located in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 citizens.
2. At 15:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron.
3. At 19:35, the occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.
4. At 22:20,the occupation forces positioned near the Khursa village junction fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
1. Two unidentified civilians were injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to Al-Arroub camp.
2. The civilian: Muhammad Khalil Abu Dayyah was injured during clashes with the occupation forces near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar.
At 13:20, the occupation forces demolished a residential room of 72 square meters owned by the citizen: Wissam Abu Asaad,in the town of Ithna under the pretext of not having a license.
At 18:25, the occupation forces closed the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, and reopened it at a later time.
At 21:30, a group of settlers was on the bypass road in the Farsh al-Hawa area, north of Hebron, and threw stones at citizens' vehicles, causing material damage to a number of them.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The occupation forces violated the cease-fire, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Rafah Governorate, by gunboats firing at fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the North Gaza Governorate, and by air strikes with 5 missiles (in two successive raids) in the Gaza and Central governorates and as a result killed a civilian.
A citizen succumbed to his serious injuries in North Gaza Governorate.
• Palestinian armed groups violated the ceasefire agreement by firing 6 mortar shells towards the Green Line.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 02/22/ 2023, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
On the evening of 02/22/2023, the citizen: Muhammad Sami Al-Abed Abu Al-Amreen, 33 years old - resident of Jabalia camp, died of serious injuries he sustained during his participation in a demonstration near the border fence, east of the town of Jabalia, about two years ago.
On the morning of 02/22/2023, Israeli gunboats opened fire towards fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniyya area, west of Beit Lahiya, and arrested 4 fishermen (including 3 brothers), and confiscated their boat.
The 4 detained fishermen at sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia, are: Muhammad Jamal Bakr, Omar Muhammad Bakr, and his two brothers Ibrahim and Mansour - all of them residents of Gaza City.
On the morning of 02/ 22/ 2023, the occupying forces confiscated a fishing boat at sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniyya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia, after they detained 4 citizens on board.
At dawn on 02/ 23/ 2023, members of the Palestinian armed groups fired 6 mortar shells towards the Green Line.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
On 02/23/2023, Israeli gunboats opened fire toward fishermen's boats while they were chasing them at sea off the shore of Gaza City.
At 06:05 on 02/ 23/ 2023, Israeli warplanes launched missiles towards a site belonging to a Palestinian group, west of Gaza City.
At 06:05 on 02/23/2023, Israeli warplanes launched 4 missiles, targeting a site belonging to a Palestinian group near the entrance to Al-Bureij camp.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 02/22/ 2022, it is partially open (for the entry of limited quantities of fuel and fuel for the power plant, fodder, foodstuffs, and medical materials).
