WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

Closure

*Since 16:00 on 10/09/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces imposed a complete closure on the governorates of the West Bank, and prevented citizens and workers, including permit holders, from entering the city of Jerusalem and Israel, with the exception of diplomatic and international missions, humanitarian cases and emergency medical cases after prior coordination, on the occasion of the Jewish holiday Sukkot -“throne” until 24:00 on 10/10/ 2022.

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces closed the Qalandia military checkpoint, to traffic, and reopened it later.

Raid

1. At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Salam suburb in the town of Anata, clashed with the citizens, and as a result injured 2 civilians.
2. At dawn on 10/11/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Anata, and detained 2 citizens (a citizen and his son).

Detention

The two detainees in the town of Anata are: Jamal Al-Tamimi, and his son Khaled.

Attack

1. At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens during their raid into Al-Salam suburb in the town of Anata, for alleged stoning and as a result injured two civilians.
2. At 21:50, the Israeli occupation forces in Shuafat camp in Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Injuries

The two civilians including Ali Al-Salaymeh were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Dahiyat Al-Salam in the town of Anata

Assault on Educational sector

On 10/10/2022, school hours were suspended in all schools of Dahiyat Al-Salam, the town of Anata, Ras Shehadeh, and Shuafat camp in Jerusalem, due to the siege imposed on them and the closure of its entrances, and citizens were prevented from entering or leaving it.

Closure of main Roads

Since 10/08// 2022, the occupation forces have continued the strict siege and closed the entrances to Dahiyat Al-Salam, the town of Anata and the Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Nidham, clashed with the citizens, and detained 4 citizens.

Detention

1. At 23:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Ayoun al-Haramiya area (on the main road from Ramallah – Nablus detained 3 children: Firas Omar Muhammad Hamida 16 years old, Hosni Samir Hosni Abdel Aziz 16 years old, and Amjad Fadi Abdel Rahim Zabin 16 years old - all of them Residents of the eastern farm town.
2. The 4 detainees in the village of Deir Nizam are: Malik Ahmad Al-Tamimi, Sameh Ahmad Al-Tamimi, Munjid Muhammad Hassan, and Sami Ahmad Al-Tamimi.

Attack

1. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Nidham village.
2. On the evening of 10/10/2022,the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Al-Nabi Saleh opened fire towards a citizen’s vehicle while it was passing the place.

JENIN

Raid

At 03:05, the Israeli occupation forces raided Anza village, detained, and withdrew at 07:00.

Detention

The detainee in the village of Anza is: Imad Hassan Ahmed Sadaqah a Preventive Security Service officer

Killings

At 14:35, the child: Mahmoud Muhammad Khalil Samoudi, 12 years old - a resident of Al-Yamoun town, died of serious wounds sustained as a result of the Israeli forces’ firing while storming Jenin refugee camp (as mentioned in a report on 09.29.2022).

TULKAREM

Raid

At 05:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Tulkarm, and detained a citizen.

Detention

A detainee in the city of Tulkarm is: Ahmad Muhannad Abu Safaqa.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the Habla tunnel (the southern entrance to the city of Qalqilya), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 12:50.
2. At 13:00 and again at 20:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet al-Tabib. to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 22:15.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 00:40, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Beit Furik checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 07:25.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Beita, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 19:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the village of Bazaria, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

1. At 03:05, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beita, detained 2 civilians, and withdrew at 06:05.
2. At 03:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Qelil, detained a National Security Forces officer, and withdrew at 06:05.

Detention

1. The two detainees in the town of Beta are: Amer Mahmoud Hamayel, and Osaid Muhammad Suleiman Mualla.
2. The detainee in the village of Kafr Qaleel is: Al-Askari - Ahmed Adel Ahmed Al-Quni.

SALFIT

Settlers Attacks

At 13:20, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the Khallet Hassan area in the town of Bidya, and assaulted the citizen: Raed Muhammad Abu Seif, and his son: Arafat, 17 years old, while they were picking olives, as a result left them hospitalized with contusions.

JERICHO

Raid

At 01:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided d the city of Jericho, stormed and searched a number of houses, and withdrew at 02:55.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Nahalin town, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 12:40.
2. At 16:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tekoa, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

Raid

1. At 02:35, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Za'tara, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 03:25.
2. At 03:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, detained a National Security Force officer, and withdrew at 03:55.

Detention

1. The detainee in the town of Za'tara is: Uday Muhammad Ahmad Zawahra.
2. The detainee in the town of Beit Fajjar is: Al-Askari - Ahmed Salti Thawabteh.

HEBRON

Attack

1. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar, fired stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been stoned.
2. At 00:15, the Israeli occupation forces in Al-Aroub camp fired stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 10:45, a group of Israeli settlers in the old city of Hebron burned and torn a number of copies of the Holy Qur’an, and threw them into the garbage container next to the Qaytun Mosque near the Ibrahimi Mosque.
2. On the evening of 10/10/ 2022, a group of Israeli settlers in the Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the old city of Hebron attacked a number of citizens by throwing stones at them and spraying them with pepper gas. As a result, 8 civilians sustained bruises and suffocated, and 2 of them were taken to the hospital government in Hebron city for treatment.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement when the gunboats opened fire at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the governorates of North Gaza and Rafah.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 10/10/ 2022 is closed.

Attack

1. At 10:00 on 10/10/ 2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen’s boats while they were chasing them in the open sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 12:50 on 10/10./2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen’s boats while chasing them in the open sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 10/10/ 2022, is closed.
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 10/10/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).

Attack

At 18:50 on 10/10/ 2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them in the open sea off the shore of Rafah.
