DAILY SITUATION REPORT September 03 2022

1. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Jaba’ checkpoint detained 3 citizens: Mahran Abu Shusha, Bilal Kefaya, and Hamza Kefaya (all residents of Qalandia camp).
2. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the town of Badu detained the citizen: Tariq Walid Taha – a resident of Qatana village.
3. On the evening of 09/02/2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Old City of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Muhammad Ateeq.
4. At 00:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Shuafat checkpoint in Jerusalem detained the citizen: Uday Abu Al-Saad – a resident of Shuafat camp.

On 09/02/ 2022, the Israeli occupation authorities in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem forced the family of Hadia, to demolish her 120-square-meter house herself, after notifying her earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the demolition by the occupation authorities under the pretext of not having a license.

At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the town of Turmusaya and the village of Al-Mughayyir, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

At 01:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the town of Habla detained the citizen: Ahmed Hassan Abu Riash - a resident of Qalqilya.

At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village for alleged stoning and as a result injured 7 civilians, and left several others. Of the citizens - cases of suffocation due to inhalation of tear gas.

At 13:40, in the village of Beit Dajan, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, and as a result injured 5 citizens, and left 23 other citizens suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

At 14:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih in Beita fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun, and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result left several civilians suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

5 unidentified civilians were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Beit Daja.

1. At 08:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 09:55.
2. At 19:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Janata town, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 20:00.

1. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the junction of Beit Ainun village, opened fire towards a citizen, for allegedly trying to stab a soldier, and as a result killed him
2. At 17:20, the Israeli occupation forces, near the “Karmie Tzur” settlement, which is located south of the town of Beit Ummar, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
3. At 18:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Sa'ir, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and detained a citizen.

The civilian: Fadi Muhammad Fayez Ghattas, 19 years old - a resident of Al-Duheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem was killed after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces at the junction of Beit Ainun village.
