DAILY SITUATION REPORT August 24 2022

At dawn on 08/24/ 2022,the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Qatana, and detained a citizen.

1. At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Jawad Hassan Nawafleh - a resident of Abu Dis town.
2. At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Sufian Al-Faqih - a resident of Qatana village.
3. At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Jaba' checkpoint detained 2 civilians: Muhammad Sami Mutair and Muhammad Ahmad Alqam - (both of them are residents of Qalandia camp).
4. The detainee in the village of Qatana is: Muhammad Adnan Taha.

On 08/23/2022, the Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to banish the citizen: Reem Muhammad Ali - residents of Shuafat camp in Jerusalem, for a period of 3 months from Al-Aqsa Mosque.

At 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the town of Abu Dis fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.

The civilian: Husam El-Din Far'oun was injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Abu Dis.

On 08/22/2022, the Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem approved a plan to build 1,324 new settlement housing units in the “Gilo” settlement, which will be built on 80 dunums (includes 15 buildings on which the settlement units are distributed, and the plan included a park, shops, public and other operational buildings It connects the new plan with the surrounding streets), within the territories occupied in 1967.

At 01:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided Jenin refugee camp, clashed with the citizens as they stormed a number of houses and as a result left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation and detained 3 civilians, then withdrew at 03:40.

The 3 detainees in Jenin camp are: Imad Al-Din Omar Saeed Abu Al-Haijaa, Issam Muhammad Abu Khalifa, and Suhaib Mithqal Al-Ghoul.

2. At 21:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the Al-Azza camp in Bethlehem and arrested a citizen.
3. At 02:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Husan, and detained a child.
4. At dawn on 08/24/2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Beit Sahour, and stormed and searched a house.

At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Wadi Al-Hariya area in Hebron city, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
