DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 19th August 2022 -08:00, 20th August 2022
At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 4 citizens (including a child):Ayham Hijazi, 14 years old, Mahmoud Al-Jabari, Mahdi Samara, and Anas Al-Safadi in the Old City of Jerusalem.
At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces assigned to guard the racist separation wall near Beit Ijza, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Turmusaya, and patrolled until 23:10.
At 20:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the plain area of Turmusaya town detained 3 citizens: Hudhayfa Jaber Abu Alia, Moataz Akef Abu Alia, and Awda Hammad Abu Alia - all are residents of Al-Mughayer village.
At 19:15, a group of Israeli settlers entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the Al-Sahel area, located between the town of Turmus’ayya and the village of Al-Mughayyir, and set fire to the agricultural lands and chopped of branches of five olive trees, smashed the windows of a vehicle, and blocked the agricultural road leading to the area with stones.
At 23:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jenin and the towns of Burqin, Al Yamoun and Arraba, and they patrolled until 23:55.
At 18:50, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Ainaf checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 20:20.
1. At 02:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Tulkarm and conducted a patrol.
2. At 02:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Anabta and Kafr al-Labad, and conducted a patrol.
At 19:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the entrance to the village of Al-Hafasi detained 3 citizens: Khali Raed Thaleen, Wafi Abdul Karim Hassan Thaleen, and his brother Bahaa - all residents of the town of Kafr Al-Labad.
At 18:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Qalqilya, and patrolled until 21:00.
1. At 13:50, Israeli occupation forces positioned near the eastern entrance (closed) in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village for alleged stoning and as a result injured 6 civilians ( including a child and a journalist), and left a number of citizens suffocated as a result of inhaling tear gas.
2. At 18:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Al-Baireen area, south of Qalqilya, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
6 unidentified civilians were injured (including a child and a journalist) during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum.
At 20:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir al-Hatab, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, and withdrew at 00:35.
1. At 13:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result injured a citizen and left 5 civilians suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
2. At 13:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Beit Dajan fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result injured 2 civilians, and left 37 civilians suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
3. At 20:50, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Al-Hatab village.
1. A unidentified civilian was injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita.
2. Two unidentified civilian were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Beit Dajan.
At 18:25, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance to the Masoudia area located close to Burqa village, attacked a car wash owned by Omar Ahmed Abu Omar.
1. At 18:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 18:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Za'tara Junction checkpoint detained the citizen: Saleh Abu Zaid (a university student) - a resident of the Gaza Strip.
At 19:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
On 08/19/2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Wadi Al-Abyar area of the town of Al-Khader uprooted 55 seedlings of grapes, filled a well to collect water, and destroyed a water tank owned by the citizen: Ahmed Rizk Issa.
1. At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired live bullets, rubber-coated metal, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen, and left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces in the Jabal Jawhar area in the Old City of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
A unidentified civilian was injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the Central Gaza Governorate.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 08/19/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 02:30 on 08/20/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Bureij camp.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom - Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 08/19/ 2022 is closed.
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: On 08/19/ 2022 is closed.
