DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 9th August 2022 -08:00, 10th August 2022
1. At 14:10, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Basil Rami Ghoneim – a resident of the city of Jerusalem.
2. At 22:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem detained 3 citizens: Uday Fadi, Yazan Abu Juma’a, and Ayham Mifrih.
1. On the afternoon of 08/09/2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning.
2. On the evening of 08/09/2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Qalandia Checkpoint, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen, and left another citizen suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. On the evening of 08/09/20220, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the junction of the town of Anata fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.
4. On the evening of 08/09/20220, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Isawiya fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning.
5. On the evening of 08/09/20220, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured a citizen.
6. On the evening of 08/09/20220, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Shuafat camp in Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
1. The civilian: Yousef Majid Subhi Mutair was injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the vicinity of Qalandia Military Checkpoint.
2. The civilian: Muhammad Mahmoud Hilweh was injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the junction of the town of Anata.
3. A unidentified civilian was injured during the confrontations between Ma'iq and Fateh, in the Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
On 08/09/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces demolished two residential rooms owned by the citizen: Hisham Al-Dari in the village of Al-Isawiya, under the pretext of not having a license.
At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 14:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Turmusaya, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Oyoun Al Haramiya junction (on the main road from Ramallah - Nablus), and detained 2 civilians.
3. At 02:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the town of Taybeh, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 08:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kobar, and handed demolition notices to 2 houses belonging to the citizens: Hikmat Khalil Zibar and Muhammad Mustafa Zibar, under the pretext of not having a permit, and for being located in the classified area (C) under Israeli control.
2. At 01:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Taybeh and the villages of Al-Mughayer and Deir Jarir, where confrontations took place with the citizens, as they stormed a number of houses and detained 4 citizens in the villages of Al-Mughayer and Deir Jarir, and withdrew at 03:05.
1. At 12:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Ghoraba area, east of Sinjil town detained the citizen: Ahmed Masalma – a resident of Sinjel town.
2. The two detainees at a sudden checkpoint at the junction of the Ayoun al-Haramiya area (on the main road from Ramallah - Nablus) are: Razi Ghassan Alawneh and Abbas Ahmed Khaliliah - residents of Jaba' town in Jenin governorate.
3. The 4 detainees in the villages of Al-Mughayer and Deir Jarir are: Fadel Hamed Abu Alia, 55 years old - a resident of Al-Mughayer village, Karam Sami Al-Naasan - residents of Al-Mughayer village, Ahmed Noman Abu Naim - a resident of Al-Mughayer village, and Muhammad Ali Zayed - a resident of Deir Jarir village.
At 13:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh fired live ammunition rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured 8 civilians.
The 8 civilians injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the northern entrance to the city of Al-Bireh are: Suhaib Al-Amla, Shadi Muhammad Ahmad Muslim, Zaid Anan Ahmad Hamad, Uday Muhammad Ahmad Dar Attaya, Ahmad Na`im Diab Al-Qaq, Milad Ziyad Al-Labadi, Osama Al-Qatouni, and Medhat Munif Al-Rimawi.
1. At 11:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the Palestinian Technical University (Khadouri), west of Tulkarm, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning and detained a citizen.
2. At 19:50, the Israeli occupation forces, assigned to guard the racist separation wall near the town of Zita, fired rubber-coated metal bullets towards the civilians and as a result injured citizen.
3. At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Gate No. (104) built on the apartheid wall near the city of Tulkarm, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
The Israeli occupation forces positioned near Palestine Technical University (Khadouri) west of Tulkarm is: Sajid Muhammad Kitana - resident of the town of Qafin.
1. The civilian: Mahmoud Hamed Abdullah Bani Odeh - residents of Tammun town, Tubas governorate was injured during confrontations near the racist and segregated controversy near the town of Zita.
2. The child Mahmoud Faiq Muhammad Hussein, 14 years old was injured during confrontations at Gate No. (104) built on the apartheid wall near the city of Tulkarm.
At 09:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzoun, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces, assigned to guard the racist separation wall near the town of Jayyous, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun, and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of the "Eyal" crossing, north of Qalqilya, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
At 21:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of Deir Sharaf village, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
1. Since 06:45 on 08/09/2022, the Israeli occupation forces continued its raid into the city of Nablus, and clashed with citizens as they surrounded a house, and launched a rocket-propelled grenade towards at the house, and as a result killed 3 civilians (including a child), and injured 29 other civilians (In addition to what was mentioned in the previous report leaves the total injured to 40 citizens – including 7 of them were seriously injured), withdrew at 09:45.
2. At 04:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided al-Lubban al-Sharqiya village, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 04:45.
The detainee in the eastern al-Lubban village is: Ahmad Sanubar - a resident of Yatma village.
1. Since 06:45 on 08/09/2022, the Israeli occupation forces resumed firing live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens for alleged gunfire and stones, and launched a rocket-propelled grenade towards at the house during their raid into the city of Nablus, and as a result killed 3 civilians (including a child), and injured 29 other civilians (In addition to what was mentioned in the previous report leaves the total injured to 40 citizens – including 7 of them were seriously injured), withdrew at 09:45.
2. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of the Beit Furik checkpoint, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
3. At 20:35, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Hawara Checkpoint, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
4. At 21:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the roundabout of Deir Sharaf village, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
5. At 23:35, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the roundabout of the village of Einabus, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
The 3 civilians: Ibrahim Alaa Al-Nablusi, 26 years old, Islam Sabbouh, 25 years old, and Hussein Jamal Hussein Taha, 16 years old were killed after Israeli occupation forces launched a rocket-propelled grenade towards at a house during clashes in Nablus.
29 civilians were injured (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report and increasing the number of injured to 40 civilians, including 7 of them were seriously injured) in the city of Nablus (of those identified are): Jihad Faisal Diab, Jamal Muhammad Hussein Taha, Muhammad Marzouq Ali Araysha, Muhammad al-Wazir, Hamza Farawneh, Ahmed Muhammad Nabulsi, Hassan Muhammad Khalbous, Moataz Jamal Samhan, Mustafa Muhammad Mustafa Abu Bakr, 16 years old, and Fadi Muhammad Yusef Yassin.
At 18:25, a group of Israeli settlers entered the outskirts of Urif village and attacked the homes of citizens, causing material damage to the vehicle of the citizen: Bakr Nabil.
At 09:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Zawiya, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 15:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Salfit, stormed a house, and withdrew at 16:35.
2. At 01:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kafr ad-Dik, stormed 2 houses, and withdrew at 02:20.
At 18:50, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards the protesting citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 civilians.
The 3 civilians: Mahmoud Bahjat Al-Qatrawi, Muhammad Ahmad Abu Ajwa, and Medhat Munif Al-Rimawi were injured during clashes in Aqabat Jaber camp in Jericho.
At 21:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 21:55.
At dawn on 08/09/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Shawwara, and detained a citizen.
1. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Muhammad Iyad Al-Masri – a resident of the Dheisheh refugee camp in Beit Lam, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on a prior notification.
2. The detainee in the village of Al-Shawara is: Daoud Issa Hamdan.
1. At 17:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque (Al-Qubba), north of Bethlehem, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
2. At 19:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Tekoa, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
3. On the evening of 08/09/2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Husan fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
On 08/09/2022, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a house of 100 square meters in Al-Manshiya area near the town of Tekoa, owned by: Amin Al-Rajabi, under the pretext of not having a license.
1. On 08/09/ 2022, a group of Israeli settlers from the settlement of "Efrat" set up a caravan on citizens' lands in the Khallet al-Nahla area near the village of Wadi Rahal.
2. On 08/09/ 2022, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the agricultural lands of citizens in the Wadi Salem area of the town of Al-Khader, located near the “Navih Daniel” settlement, uprooted and cut about 150 olive seedlings, and destroyed summer vegetable crops planted on 13 dunums owned by the citizen: Abdel Qader Jabr Ghoneim.
At 22:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of Khurasa village, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 01:00.
At 12:05, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the settlement of "Kfar Etzion" detained the citizen: Samir Ahmed Muhammad Al-Shawaheen - residents of the town of Al-Zahiriya.
1. At 15:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun, and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result killed a child, and injured 4 civilians (including a child).
2. At 19:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the junction of Beit Ainun village, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning.
3. At 20:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun, and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 civilians (including a child).
The child: Mu'min Yassin Muhammad Judeh Jaber, 16 years old was killed by Israeli occupation forces during clashes in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
1. The 4 civilians: Mustafa Khalil Al-Husays, 15 years, Alaa Hatem Issa Al-Harush, Muhammad Samir Abdul-Aziz Amayreh, and Muhammad Abdullah Abu Shkhaydam were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.
2. The Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Beit Ummar injured 3 civilians (including a child who was hit in the eye) (of those identified): Ziyad Muhammad Abu Ayyash, 15, and Amin Qasim Khalil Abu Khalil.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing at the fishermen's boats at sea in the North Gaza Governorate, and a citizen died of his serious wounds on 08/05/ 2022.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 08/09/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 08:30 on 08/09/ 2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats, while chasing them in the open sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
At 23:30 on 08/09/2022, the citizen: Ibrahim Shehda Abu Salah, 43 years old, died of serious wounds sustained by missiles from Israeli warplanes in the North Gaza Governorate on 08/05/2022.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 08/09/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 08/09/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
