Daily Report May 21 2022

At dawn on 05/21/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raid the town of Kafr Aqab, and detained a citizen.

1. At 17:35, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Beit Ijza detained the citizen: Munther Atta.
2. At 19:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque detained 2 citizens: Muhammad Daoud and Aws Swailem (both of them are residents of Qalqilya).
3. The detainee in the town of Kafr Aqab is: Khaled Mohamed Abdel Ghafour.

1. At 17:30, the Israeli occupation forces in charge of guarding the racist separation wall near the village of Beit Duqu, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
2. At 23:45, , the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Al-Isawiya fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result of which a number of civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

1. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Silwad town, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 21:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint under the bridge of Yabroud village, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 00:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the villages of Kafr Malik and Deir Jarir, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 21:00.

At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiyye, clashed with the citizens, while they were on patrol, as a result of which injured 5 citizens including a female citizen who was hospitalized with contusions as a result of her vehicle being hit by a Israeli military vehicle and left a number of citizens suffocated as a result of inhaling tear gas.

At 04:50 on 05/ 20/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Awad Luay Al-Khawaja during their raid into the town of Ni’lin (in addition to what was mentioned in the previous report).

1. At 15:50, the Israeli occupation forces, present in the vicinity of the entrance to the settlement of "Psagot", fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
2. At 18:00, during their raid into Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya town, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning while on patrol, as a result injured 5 civilians were injured including a female citizen who was hospitalized with contusions as a result of her vehicle being hit by a Israeli military vehicle and left a number of citizens suffocated as a result of inhaling tear gas.
3. At 22:40, the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beituniya fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

The civilians including Montaser Safi Shuraitah, Muhammad Akram Ladado, Abdullah Salem Turki, and Ali Youssef Shuraitah were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Al-Mazraa Al-Gharbiya.

At 18:00, the citizen: Neamat Atallah Hassan Ladadoa was hospitalized with contusions after her vehicle was hit by a Israeli military vehicle in the town of Al-Mazraa Al-Gharbiyye.

On the evening of 05/20 /2022, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Yabad , to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens then detained a citizen.

1. At 11:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Yamoun and the villages of Rummana, 'Ta'anak, Zabouba and Kafr Dan, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 15:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the villages of Zabada and Umm Dar, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 19:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Anin, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Taybeh and conducted a patrol.
5. At 00:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the villages of Al-Jalama, Arana and Kafr Dan, and conducted a patrol.
6. At 01:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jenin and its camp, clashed with the citizens, which led to the death of a child, and the serious injury of another citizen.

The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Ya'bad is: Ibrahim Fathi Al-Amour - residents of the town of Ya'bad.

At 01:50, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition towards citizens, under the pretext that they had been shot and stoned, and as a result killed a child, and seriously injured another a citizen during their raid into of Jenin city and its camp.

The child: Amjad Walid Al-Fayed, 17 years old - a resident of Jenin refugee camp was killed after he was shot by Israeli occupation forces during their raid into the city of Jenin and its refugee camp.

At 17:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Azzun, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

At 13:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun, and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village, for alleged stoning and as a result injured of 4 civilians, and left several others civilians suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.

At 22:55, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Hawara checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

At 19:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Bazaria, and carried out the patrol.

At 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the settlement of "Majdolim" temporarily detained the citizen: Saqr Samih Taysir Farah, and later released him after assaulting him.

1. On the morning of 05/ 20/ 2022, a group of Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, stormed the village of Al-Badhan and the area between the villages of Al-Nasaria and Beit Hassan, and withdrew at a later time.
2. At 10:00, a Israeli settler, while he was driving his vehicle near the entrance to the town of Beita, ran over the child: Amir Bashir Khudair leaving him hospitalized with contusions.
3. On 05/20/ 2022, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the water spring area in the village of Qaryut during which the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, while they were trying to confront the settlers.

At 14:00, in the village of Beit Dajan, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, and as a result injured 4 civilians, and left 21 other civilians (including a child) 7 years old) - suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
2. At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, and as a result injured 9 civilians and left 28 others suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
3. On 05/ 20/2022, the Israeli occupation forces in the area of the water spring in the village of Qaryut fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, while they were trying to confront a group of Israeli settlers during their storming of the water spring area.
4. At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters toward civilians on the main street in the town of Hawara for alleged stoning.

At 15:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawwar camp, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.

At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Ramzi Ayman Abu Sobeih - a resident of the city of Hebron.

1. At 12:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Al-Rkeez area located near the village of Al-Tawani, southeast of Yatta, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards the demonstrators, in refusal to the decision of the Israeli occupation forces to consider Masafer Yatta as a shooting and training area for the Israeli occupation forces, with the aim of displacing 14 villages and communities during which a number of demonstrators suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
2. At 14:05 and 18:10, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 children who were hospitalized in a government hospital in Hebron.
