WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Zain Samreen (one of the doors leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem, in Bab Al-Asbat area.
2. At 22:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the town of Al-Ram detained the citizen: Muhammad Misbah Abu Sobeih.

Deportation

On 05/01/ 2022, the Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to deport the citizen: Munther Hamadeh - residents of the city of Jerusalem, for a period of 6 months from Al-Aqsa Mosque.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 01:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the town of Turmusaya and the village of Al-Mughayyir, and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. At dawn on 05/01/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Thaer Taha Atta - residents of Ramallah.
2. The detainee at a flying checkpoint between the town of Turmusaya and the village of Al-Mughayyir is: Basil Munir Abu Alia.

JENIN

Raid

At 03:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Taybeh and conducted a patrol.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the villages of Al-Fuqdaq and Hajjah, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 22:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the towns of Jayyous and Azzoun, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

Raid

1. At 16:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Habla and conducted a patrol.
2. At 16:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Fuqood, stormed4 houses and a feed factory, and examined its surveillance camera recordings.
3. At 24:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzoun, stormed a number of shops, and examined their surveillance camera recordings.

Attack

At 22:25, the Israeli occupation forces, assigned to guard the racist separation wall near the town of Habla, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens.

Confiscation of Property

At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by the citizen: Musharraf Al-Qaddoumi in the town of Jayyous while he was on his way to work.

NABLUS

Detention

At 23:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Moaz Samih Abdel Aziz Hajja, in front of his house in the village of Burqa.

SALFIT

Settlers Attacks

At 02:10, a group of Israeli settlers were present at the northern entrance to Salfit (near the "Ariel" settlement junction) and prevented citizens' vehicles from passing, and withdrew at 02:50.

JERICHO

Detention

At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Hamra checkpoint detained the citizen: Nasser Fadel Abu Seif - a resident of the city of Jericho.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tekoa, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 16:45.
2. At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the bridge of Dar Salah village (the eastern entrance to the city of Beit Sahour), to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 04:00.
3. At 22:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Janata town, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 04:00.
4. At 22:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashas area, the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 00:55.

Raid

At 12:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Beit Ta'mar detained a child, and withdrew at 14:20.

Detention

The detainee in the village of Beit Ta'mar is: Muhannad Nasser Abu Qaddoum, 17 years old.

Closure of main Roads

At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces closed the western entrance to the town of Tekoua, in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 03:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the bridge of the town of Halhul, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 05:30.

Raid

1. At 03:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ummar, where clashes took place with the citizens, as a result injured a citizen, and withdrew at 04:30.
2. At 03:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Hebron, and stormed and searched 2 houses.

Attack

1. At 03:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into the town of Beit Ummar and as a result injured a citizen.
2. At 03:25, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the school junction in the old city of Hebron, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Injuries

The civilian: Samir Osama Hassan Arar was injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Ummar.

Closure of main Roads

At 23:45, the Israeli occupation forces closed the Fawar Junction, to traffic, and reopened it at 07:00.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the governorates of North and Central Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 05/01/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

Attack

At 11:30 on 05/01/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of the town of Beit Hanoun.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 11:30 on 05/01/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Deir al-Balah.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 05/01/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 05/01/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
