DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Abu Dis, and detained a citizen.
2. At 03:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kafr Aqab, and detained 2 civilians.

Detention

1. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque detained the citizen: Uday Tamim Yahya – a resident of Al-Arqa village in Jenin governorate.
2. At 12:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Muhammad Taher Jabarin.
3. The detainee in the town of Abu Dis is: Muhammad Walid Saleh Khanafsa.
4. The two detainees in the town of Kafr Aqab are: Haitham Al-Lawzi - residents of Qalandia camp, and Hassan Ziada - residents of Kafr Aqab town.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:25, Israeli settlers positioned near the Hizma checkpoint opened fire towards a vehicle in which the citizen: Muhammad Abu Khadija and his brother were in, after they had a traffic accident with the settler's vehicle, which led to the injury of both of them.

Injuries

The two civilians injured as a result of being shot by a Israeli settler near the Hizma checkpoint are: Muhammad Abu Khadija, and his brother Jawad - residents of Shuafat refugee camp in Jerusalem.

Physical Assault

On 02/25/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces assaulted a number of demonstrators in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem, beating and pushing a number of citizens demonstrating and in solidarity with the people of the neighborhood.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

At 06:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Al-Bireh and Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city, and detained 2 civilians.

Detention

The two detainees in the city of Al-Bireh and Al-Amari camp are: Ahmad Afana - residents of the city of Ramallah, and Noor Al-Dabour - residents of Al-Amari camp.

Attack

At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Deir Jarir village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens for alleged stoning.

TUBAS

Temporary Detention

At 17:25, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Tayseer checkpoint temporarily detained Ibrahim Farouk Hussein Faqha (from the Preventive Security force officer), and released him at a later time.

TULKAREM

Detention

At 15:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the "Aynaf" checkpoint detained the citizen: Mahmoud Muhammad Saeed Hajja - residents of Burqa village in the Nablus governorate.

QALQILIYA

Raid

1. At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzun and conducted a patrol.
2. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Qalqilya and conducted a patrol.

Attack

At 13:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 civilians, and left several other citizens suffocated as a result of inhaling tear gas, and detained a citizen.

Injuries

The 3 unidentified civilians were wounded during confrontations with the occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum.

Detention

The detainee during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum is: Muhammad Nidal Ahmad Aqel.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces closed the "Shavi Shomron" checkpoint on the main road, Nablus - Jenin, to traffic, and reopened it at a later time.

Attack

1. At 13:05, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Nabe` al-Maa area in the village of Qaryut, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result injured 6 citizens, and left a number of other citizens suffocated due to inhalation Tear gas.
2. At 13:25, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun, and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects in the village of Beit Dajan, injuring 5 citizens, and left 10 other citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
3. At 13:35, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, fired live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result left several civilians suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

1. The 6 unidentified civilians were wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Qaryut
2. The 5 unidentified civilians were wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Beit Dajan.

Settlers Attacks

At 09:20, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance to the ruins of the evacuated "Homash" settlement, north of Burqa village, and closed the main road, Nablus - Jenin, to traffic.

SALFIT

Raid

At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kafr ad-Dik, and stormed and searched a house.

Settlers Attacks

At 18:10, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the citizens' agricultural lands north of Kafr al-Dik, and caused material damage to an agricultural room owned by Omar Haboub.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens..

Detention

At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens:Abdel Latif Jamal Abdel Latif Hamdan - residents of Jenin refugee camp, and Qusai Talal Ahmed Kayed - residents of Jenin city.at the Hamra checkpoint

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Wadi Fukin, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 14:35.
2. At 14:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 15:10.

Raid

At 15:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Bethlehem, and clashes took place with the citizens near the northern entrance to the city of Bethlehem, while they were on patrol.

Attack

1. At 15:20, during their raid into the city of Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens near the northern entrance to the city of Bethlehem, for alleged stoning while on patrol.
2. At 15:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Artas Al-Gharbiya village {West Artas village}, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and detained a citizen, and released him at a later time.
3. At 16:45, the Israeli occupation forces, near the northern entrance to the town of Tekoa, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

Temporary Detention

At 15:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Artas Al-Gharbiya village {west of Artas village} temporarily detained the citizen: Basem Issa Ibrahim Ayesh, and released him later.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up two checkpoints at the entrances to the villages of Tawas and Al-Majd, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 20:30.

Attack

At 11:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning which resulted in the injury of a citizen and left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

The civilian: Muhammad Nidal Al-Zughair during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the Central Gaza Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 02/25/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 23:15 on 02/25/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Deir al-Balah.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 02/25/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 02/25/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
