DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 17th February 2022 -08:00, 18th February 2022
1. At dawn on 02/ 17/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Abu Dis, and detained 2 civilians.
2. At 14:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kafr Aqab and conducted a patrol.
3. At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Hizma and conducted a patrol.
1. At 00:30 on 02/ 17/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Jaba’ checkpoint along the road linking the governorates of Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jericho detained the citizen: Malek Mutair – a resident of Qalandia camp.
2. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Majid Ramadan Naasan and Faris Ahmed Ramadan – a resident of Bab al-Amoud area in the Old City of Jerusalem.
3. The two detainees in the town of Abu Dis are: Alaa Al-Sharif and Yazan Muhaisen.
At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
1. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 16:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Qarawat Bani Zaid, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 20:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ein Sinia, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
4. At 22:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Kharbatha Al-Misbah, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 11:55 and again at 14:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Al-Bireh until 16:25.
2:00 At 01:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Ein Yabroud, and detained a citizen.
1. At 07:40 on 02/ 17/2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the child: Rami Abdel Rahman Al-Tamimi, 16 years old during their raid into Deir Nidham village (as mentioned in the previous report).
2. The detainee in the village of Ain Yabroud is: Muhammad Nidal Arman.
1. At 13:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Ya'bad and conducted a patrol.
2. At 14:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Yamoun and conducted a patrol.
3. At 20:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Jalama, and conducted the patrol until 06:50.
At 06:55 on 02/ 17/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Aws Mahmoud Al-Ajawi, during their raid into the Kharouba area in Jenin.
At 06:55 on 02/17/2022,Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed a house during their raid into the Kharouba area in Jenin (as mentioned in the previous report)and as a result injured 3 civilians.
The 3 civilians: Muntaser Abu Al-Fahd, Ahmed Imad Fayez Abahra, and Aws Imad Al-Shalabi were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Khrouba area of Jenin city.
At 13:15, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Tayseer checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
At 01:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Tubas detained a citizen, and withdrew at 02:50.
The detainee in the city of Tubas is: Qusay Mithqal Daraghmeh.
At 16:10, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Ainaf checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 10:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the Ertah suburb of Tulkarm and the village of Pharaoh, until 12:30.
2. At 13:35 and again at 04:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Shufa until 05:20.
3. At 01:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Attil, stormeded and searched 4 houses, and confiscated 2,000 shekels from the house of the citizen: Muhammad Abdul Rahman Daqqa, 10,000 shekels, 1500 Jordanian dinars, and 1200 US dollars from the house of the citizen: Amjad Omar Qarqour, and 11,000 shekels from the house of the citizen: Tawfiq Al-Taqz.
At 01:40, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated 2,000 shekels from the house of the citizen: Muhammad Abdul Rahman Daqqa, 10,000 shekels, 1500 Jordanian dinars, and 1200 US dollars from the house of the citizen: Amjad Omar Qarqour, and 11,000 shekels from the house of the citizen: Tawfiq Al-Taqz during their raid into Attil town.
1. At 08:20 on 02/ 17/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Sebastia until 12:40
2. At 05:00 02/18/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beita, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 13:45, near the entrance to the village of Burqa, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs, and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been stoned.
2. At 17:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the village of Qaryut, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning
3. At 18:25, the Israeli occupation forces positioned on the eastern side of Deir al-Hatab village, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun, and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
At 09:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in south of Madama village, demolished a caravan owned by: Abdullah Khaled Salouda for allegedly not being licensed.
1. At 14:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 20:40, the Israel occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Marda village, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 23:30.
1. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Bruqin and conducted a patrol.
2. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Deir Istiya and conducted a patrol.
At 11:05, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 12:45 and again at 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Wadi Fukin to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 21:45.
2. At 13:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 13:50.
3. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 21:30.
1. At 10:10,the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Obeidiya until 11:05.
2. At 10:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Shawral until 11:05.
At 02:35 on 02/ 17/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens (a citizen and his son) : Muhammad Ahmad Awad Abayat, and his son Jaafa during their raid into the city of Bethlehem.
1. At 22:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Halhul until 03:30.
2. At 00:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Hebron and conducted a patrol.
At 10:55, a group of Israeli settlers attacked a number of citizens in the Zanouta area, south of the town of Al Dhaheriya
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis governorates, and by firing at fishermen's boats at sea in North Gaza and Gaza governorates.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 02/17/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 10:30 on 02/17/ 2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while they were chasing them in the open sea off the coast of the Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 08:30 on 02/ 17/ 2022, Israeli gunboats fired at fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Gaza City.
At 13:00 on 02/17/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Deir al-Balah.
1. At 09:45 on 02/17/2022, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 15:10 on 02/17/2022, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire and fired tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 02/17/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 02/17/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
