DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 30th January 2022 -08:00, 31st January 2022
1. At 10:00 on 01/30/2022 and again at dawn on 01/31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Qatana, and detained 5 citizens.
2. At dawn on 01/31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Anan, detained a citizen, and handed the citizen: Ahmed Bakr Rabie, a notice to review the Israeli intelligence.
1. The five detainees in the town of Qatana are: Islam Muhammad Ziyad Shamasneh, Jassem Ali al-Khatib, Muhammad Nasser Hoshiya, Omar Ibrahim al-Khatib, and Othman Ibrahim al-Khatib.
2. The detainee in the town of Beit Anan is: Muhammad Abd al-Salam Rabei.
1. At 11:50, the Israeli occupation forces in the Khan al-Ahmar area fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens demonstrating against the displacement of the Bedouin citizens from the area.
2. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Bab al-Amoud area in Jerusalem, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.
On the evening of 01/30/2022,the Israeli occupation authorities forced the two brothers: Mahmoud and Daoud Shkeirat to demolish their homes (two residential apartments) with an area of 80 square meters in the Jabal Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem, after they had notified them earlier, in order to avoid paying Heavy fines in the event that the occupation authorities carry out the demolition, on the pretext of not having a permit.
At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
At 16:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 14:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Silwad until 17:45.
2. At 02:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided al-Jalazun camp, detained 2 civilians, and withdrew at 05:00.
3. At dawn on 01/31/2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Shuqba, and detained 4 citizens.
1. The two detainees in Al-Jalazun camp are: Mahdi Ahmed Abu Al-Zaher and Zaid Matar Zaid.
2. The 4 detainees in the village of Shuqba are: Montaser Salama Qadah, Khaled Abdel Halim Al-Masry, Qusai Awad Al-Masry, and Fares Shalash.
At 01:40, the Israeli occupation forces raided the Arab American University area, stormed a building housing university students, detained 2 university students, and withdrew at 07:05.
The two detainees in the Arab-American University District are: Muhammad Badr Brahma, and Abd al-Turb - residents of Anza village - (both of them are university students).
At 09:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Aqaba and demolished a house (under construction) with an area of 220 square meters, under the pretext of not having a license. They also arrested a citizen, and confiscated his private vehicle.
The detainee in the village of Aqaba is: Yassin Ahmed Mahmoud Talib.
At 09:10, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a 220-square-meter house (under construction), owned by: Ismail Ahmed Mahmoud Talib, under the pretext of not having a license.
At 09:10, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated in Qara Al-Aqaba, a private vehicle owned by: Yassin Ahmed Mahmoud Talib, during his detention.
At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Tal,stormed a number of homes and shops, and confiscated their surveillance camera recordings.
1. On 01/30/2022, the Israeli occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to the villages of Naqoura and Sebastia, in front of traffic.
2. On the evening of 01/30/2022, the Israeli occupation forces closed the entrance to the Masoudia area of the lands of the village of Burqa, with cement cubes.
On the evening of 01/30/2022, a group of Israeli settlers was present on the main road from Nablus - Jenin, and they threw stones at citizens' vehicles, causing material damage to some of them.
1. At 08:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Salfit, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 09:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Zawiya, and detained 2 civilians (a citizen and his child).
2. At 01:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, detained 2 citizens, temporarily detained 4 others, released them at a later time, and withdrew at 06:20.
1. The two detainees in the town of Al-Zawiya are: Shukri Shukair, and his child - Muhammad, 13 years old.
2. The two detainees in the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan are: Muslim Ismail Maree and Mahmoud Abdel Karim Mara
At 01:45, the Israeli occupation forces temporarily detained 4 citizens: Mohsen Marei, Saher Ibrahim Maree, Youssef Nidal Assi, and Moamen Jamal Maree during their raid into the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, and later released them.
At 01:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jericho, the Aqabat Jabr and Ain al-Sultan camps in the city, and the village of Al-Jiftlik during which clashes took place with the citizens as they stormed e and searched of a number of houses in the city then detained 10 citizens (including a Preventive Security Service officer), and withdrew at 06:00.
The 10 detainees in the city of Jericho and the Aqabat Jabr and Ain Al-Sultan camps in the city and the village of Al-Jiftlik are: Al-Askari - Muhammad Khaled Al-Asal – a resident of Aqabat Jabr camp, Muhammad Hassan Balo Jalaita - a resident the city of Jericho, Uday Samir Abu Sharar - a resident of Ain Al-Sultan camp, Qusay Samir Abu Sharar - a resident of Ain al-Sultan Camp, Maarouf Samir Jalayta - a resident of Jericho, Tawfiq Kandil -a resident of Jericho, Ammar Shaqboa - a resident of Jericho, Laith Nayef Atawneh - a resident of Al-Jaftlik Village, Jihad Abdel-Jabbar Basharat - a resident of Al-Jaftlik and Muhammad Mahmoud Manasra - a resident Ain Al-Sultan camp.
At 01:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards the citizens for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a number of houses, during their raid into the city of Jericho and as a result left of a number of citizens (including the elderly citizen: Shaker Musa Balo, 65 years old) suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
1. At 15:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the town of Nahalin, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 16:30.
2. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 21:40.
3. At 21:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 23:30.
1. At 02:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar and the village of Marah Rabah, detained 2 civilians, and withdrew at 05:00.
2. At dawn on 01/31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Doha, and stormed and searched a house.
The two detainees in the town of Beit Fajjar and the village of Marah Rabah are: Tariq Muhammad Khaled Thawabteh - residents of the town of Beit Fajjar, and Mahmoud Abdullah Ali Ahmed Taqatqa - residents of the village of Marah Rabah
1. At 03:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Samet and detained a citizen.
2. At dawn on 01/31/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Yatta, and stormed and searched 3 houses.
The detainee in the village of Deir Samet is: Bashir Salama Al-Hroub.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Khan Yunis governorate, and by firing at fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza and Rafah governorates.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 01/30/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 16:00 on 01/30/2022, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them in the open sea off the coast of the Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 13:30 on 01/30/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and fired tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 01/30/ 2022 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and goods, limited quantities of fuel and cooking gas, and building materials for the private sector and for internationally funded projects).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 01/30/ 2022 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
At 09:50 on 01/30/2022, Israeli gunboats fired at fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the shore of Rafah.
