DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 28th January 2022 -08:00, 29th January 2022
1. At 12:05, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque detained the citizen: Prisoner Iyad Ali Radwan – a resident of Qalqilya.
2. At 19:45, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Hashem Salim, in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem.
3. At dawn on 01/29/2022, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Omar Shweiki and Adel Al-Jabari after storming and searching their homes in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem.
اAt 16:30, the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Abu Dis fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones, as a result of which a number of civilians suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas..
At 16:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the bridge of Atara town, and detained a child.
The detainee at a flying checkpoint near the bridge of the town of Atara is: Muhammad Salah Raslan Salem, 17 years old - a resident of the town of Arora.
On the evening of 01/28/2022, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their restrictions at the "Movo Dotan" checkpoint on the main road, Jenin - Tulkarm, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Barta'a checkpoint detained the citizen: Muhammad Riyad Mustafa Al-Shalabi – a resident of the town of Al-Saila Al-Harithiya.
2. At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at one of the military checkpoints detained the citizen: Tariq Hilal Dhiab Maali – a resident of the village of Ajja.
On the afternoon of 01/28/2022, a group of Israeli settlers in the Khirbet Samra area in the northern Jordan Valley graze their cows on the citizens’ agricultural lands, which led to the destruction of rain-fed agricultural crops.
At 13:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Kafr Laqif, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 12:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators protesting against the closure of the entrance to the village for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 civilians ( Including a 13-year-old child and a journalist), and left a number of citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 15:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of “Eyal” checkpoint, north of Qalqilya, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters citizens for alleged stoning as a result of which a number of citizens suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
The 4 civilians were injured (including a 13-year-old child and a journalist) during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum (those identified): Journalist - Nasser Shtayyeh.
At 18:25, the Israeli occupation forces closed the Hawara checkpoint (on the pretext that it had been shot at by unknown assailants), in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.
1. At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Salem until 17:40.
2. At 13:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beita.
3. At 22:05, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Nablus.
At 14:50, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural lands of the citizens near the spring of Qaryut village, during which the Israeli occupation forces intervened and fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens while they were trying to confront the settlers and as a result left several citizens suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
1. At 12:40, , the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Beit Dajan fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result injured 19 civilians (including a doctor), and left 28 other civilians suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.

At 12:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result left several civilians suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

At 14:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Qaryut fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens while they were trying to confront a group of settlers who entered the citizens’ lands near the village’s water spring, as a result and left a number of civilians suffocated due to inhalation of tear gas.
The 19 civilians were injured (including a doctor) during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the village of Beit Dajan (Of those identified): The doctor - Imad Abu Jaish.
At 13:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up 4 checkpoints at the entrances to the towns of Qarawat Bani Hassan, Deir Ballut, Kafr Ad-Dik and Broqin, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 14:00.
At 13:45, the Israeli occupation forces detained 3 citizens - residents of Fasayel village (following a quarrel with a settler near the village): Mahmoud Muhammad Ka'abneh, Musa Ahmed Ka'abneh, and Firas Ahmed Attia Abu Jawhar.
1. At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Al-Shorfa area, located between the villages of Battir and Husan, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 15:40.
2. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in Bethlehem governorate), to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 16:30.
At 12:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning as a result of which a number of civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards the governorates of North Gaza, Central Gaza, and Khan Yunis.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - “Erez”: On 01/27/ 2022, it is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing “Allenby” - previously coordinated for them).
At 19:00 on 01/28/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards a site belonging to one of the Palestinian armed groups, north of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 08:30 on 01/28/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Bureij refugee camp.
1. At 09:15 on 01/28/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 10:30 on 01/28/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of the town of Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis.
3. At 11:15 on 01/28/2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Farahin area, east of Khan Yunis.
4. At 13:30 on 01/28/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 01/28/ 2022 is closed.
