DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 20th August 2021 -08:00,21st August 2021
At 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Eizariya (near the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement junction), to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 21:00.
At 09:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Saeed Abu Ta'a - a resident of the town of Beit Hanina.
On 08/20/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces built a garden on a plot of land that was confiscated earlier in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of Jerusalem, owned by the former Mufti of Jerusalem: Haj Amin Al-Husseini.
At 02:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Wadi El-Delb area (between the villages of Ras Karkar and Deir Bzei'), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
At 14:50, the Israeli occupation forces closed the entrance to the town of Singel, in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.
At 20:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kfirt, then stormed and searched a house.
On 08/19/2021, the Israeli occupation forces in charge of guarding the apartheid wall near the village of Anin, detained the child: Ramah Radi Khaddour, 17 years old - a resident of Anin village.
At dawn on 08/20/2021,the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Qafin, and detained a citizen.
The detainee in the town of Qafin is: Diaa Muhammad Khasib.
1. At 10:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzoun, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 13:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet Al-Tabib, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 16:05.
3. At 14:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Kafr Laqif, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
At 14:00 and again at 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzoun then stormed and searched a house.
At 13:40, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards demonstrators in protest against the closure of the entrance to the village for alleged stoning and as a result left several civilians suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to the town of Azzoun, in front of traffic, and reopened it at a later time.
1. At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result injured 13 civilians and left 91others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the village of Beit Dajan fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects and as a result injured a citizen, and left 10 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
1. The 13 civilians were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Jabal Sobeih area (including): Imad Jareh Marwa Abedat.
2. A unidentified civilian was inujred during confrontations with the occupation forces in the village of Beit Dajan.
1. At 09:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Deir Istiya town, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 14:20.
2. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
3. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr ad-Dik, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
4. At 01:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
At dawn on 08/20/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kafr ad-Dik and handed a notice of evacuating a sheep farm, under the pretext of its proximity to the "Badawil" settlement
At 14:50, the Israeli occupation forces temporarily detained 2 citizens (brothers) : Abdul Hakim Muhammad Ibrahim, and his brother Jama- residents of Bidya town, while they were on their land threatened with confiscation, and later released them.
1. At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 21:10.
2. At 22:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tekoa, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 23:15.
1. At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Umm al-Shaqhan area of the village of Khallet al-Miya, east of Yatta town, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens and foreign solidarity activists demonstrating on the lands threatened with confiscation in favor of settlement projects and as a result left several civilians and foreign solidarity activists suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:50,the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, under the pretext that they had been stoned.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - "Erez": on 08/20/ 2021 is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing "Allenby" - previously coordinated for them).
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom-Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 08/20/2021 is closed.
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 08/20/2021 is closed.
