DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 16th August 2021 -08:00,17th August 2021
1. At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Old City of Jerusalem, the citizen: Ibrahim Othman Rizk.
2. At 00:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens Adam Shafiq Obaid, and Muhammad Mubtasem Obaid - (both of them are residents of Al-Isawiya village). at the western entrance to the village of Al-Isawiya.
On the evening of 08/16/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the village of Al-Isawiya, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, under the pretext that they had been stoned.
At 08:30, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
At 16:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Ras Karkar village, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
1. At dawn on 16.08. 2021, the occupation forces stormed Al-Jalazun camp, and arrested a citizen.
2. At 03:50, the occupation forces stormed the city of Al-Bireh, arrested 3 civilians, and withdrew at 04:55.
1. At 22:30, the occupation forces arrested at Ni'lin checkpoint, the citizen: Azmi Hussein Azmi Abu Dayyeh - a resident of Beit Anan town in the Jerusalem governorate.
2. The detainee in Al-Jalazun camp is: Muhammad Al-Sheni.
3. The 3 detainees in the city of Al-Bireh are: Amr Sheikh Qassem, Laith Bashar Al-Barmawi, and Munther Sheikh Qassem.
At 07:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kafr Rai, and stormed a house.
At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the "Movodotan" checkpoint detained the citizen: Yazan Hamdan Mukhal - a resident of the town of Kafr Rai.
1. On the morning of 08/16/2021, the Israeli occupation forces uprooted dozens of olive trees, owned by the citizen: Khaled Rushdi Sawafta, on the western side of Bardala village in the northern Jordan Valley.
2. On 08/16/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces levelled a 3 km long agricultural road that had been built earlier to serve dozens of farmers in the village of Atouf and also demolished an agricultural room owned by the citizen: Rami Sorour Bani Odeh.
At 09:15, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Ainaf checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 20:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzoun, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 21:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the village of Al-Nabi Elias, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
On 08/16/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces began razing large areas of citizens’ lands belonging to the city of Qalqilya, the town of Azzun and the village of Al-Nabi Elias, to implement a settlement plan aimed at expanding the settlement street No. (55) linking the cities of Qalqilya and Nablus.
At 13:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the village of al-Lubban al-Sharqiya detained the citizen: Osama Ramzi Fayyad - a resident of Jenin refugee camp.
On 08/16/ 2021, a group of settlers from the settlement of “Yitzhar” attacked the homes of citizens on the southern side of Asira al-Qibliya village during which the Israeli occupation forces also intervened and fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens while they were trying to confront the settlers.
On 08/ 16/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned on the southern side of the village of Asira al-Qibliya, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, while they were trying to confront a group of settlers from the settlement of "Yitzhar" while they were attacking the homes of the citizens.
1. At 09:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Deir Ballut, demolished an agricultural room in the Khallet al-Abhar area, and withdrew at 10:00.
2. At 11:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kifl Hares and the village of Hares, and handed a notice to stop work on the construction of a building materials company in the village of Hares, and withdrew at 13:50.
At 09:45, the Israeli occupation forces demolished an agricultural room owned by: Ghazi Hosni Musa, in the area of Khallet al-Abhar in the town of Deir Ballut.
At 02:00,the Israeli occupation forces raided Aqabat Jabr camp in Jericho, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 05:50.
The detainee in the Aqabat Jaber camp in the city of Jericho is: Ayser Juma'a Al Samhouri.
At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the (Al-Container) checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
1. At 09:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Husan village, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 15:00.
2. At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 12:50.
3. At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tekoa, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
At dawn on 08/17/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Ummar, and stormed and searched a house.
At 03:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the old town of Hebron detained the citizen: Moamen Khaled Abu Turki.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line in Rafah governorate.
• Palestinian armed groups violated the cease-fire agreement, by firing a projectile towards the Green Line.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - "Erez": on 08/16/ 2021 is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing "Allenby" - previously coordinated for them).
At 13:35 on 08/16/ 2021, members of the Palestinian armed groups fired a projectile towards the Green Line.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom-Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 08/16/2021,is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and fodder, raw materials for the agricultural and food industries, sterilization and cleaning materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 08/16/2021 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
At 14:20 on 08/16/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands northeast of Rafah.
